Although there was no "can i help you?", I explained my phone conversation with a fellow earlier. The person behind the screen, while never even looking up at us looked down at the broken part in our hands and commented that they didn't have this. I did earlier explain the part, read the printed description to the fellow on the phone confirmed he had this common part. I was told by the person behind the counter that he had this ($10.00 dollar part) in a kit for $60.00....period. After explaining my confirmation call he began to name different names of people who worked there, probably 5 or 6 in a very condescending way. My mechanic who was with me and I just looked at each other in disbelief, thanked them for their time and left. I'm a business owner and immediately recognized customer service that will cause this business to fail. Thankfully we found another trailer shop via Yelp and although they were mainly repair they took care of our needs. I'll not ever recommend Jacobsons parts department to anyone.

So I called Camping World and spoke with Joseph in the Service department and he said they could help me with that, so I made the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment Jason was my service advisor and he was very helpful and friendly. He asked if I wanted them to dispose of the hitch and I said no, I was going to they and sale it. It didn't take long for them to finish the work. And I was charged what I was quoted. When I got home I thought I was going to be able the drag the hitch off the back of the truck and on to a cart. No way, it was way too heavy. So the next day I called Jason back to see if the offer still stands and it did. Jason's team removed the hitch from bed and I was very happy to be done with it. I have cancelled my code enforcement complaint. The only thing I know about this company is based upon my neighbor, Doug Clary, who works for them. He is well known in our neighborhood as a loud-mouthed, vulgar, anti-social drunk. This past Friday, 11/2/2018, Doug Clary drove a CVTR work truck home, loaded with discarded partitions, approximately 8 feet by 3 feet. He then used those partitions to erect a barrier between our house in violation of Clovis Municipal Code 9.24.060. I can only assume the business allowed him to use the work truck to get rid of these unsightly partitions. I have pictures of the partitions and the work truck. I have reported him to the Clovis Code Enforcement office. Is this how this company disposes of their trash?
