We visited V Pizza for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted at the door and the hostess explained the background of the food and the workings of the restaurant. They offer two types of service, in the restaurant it is order and pick up style and in the bar full wait service. We chose the bar. Both the restaurant and bar were clean, quiet enough to hold a conversation and well set up. Our server in the bar Angie was very friendly, attentive and informative. The beer was cold, margaritas excellent. I had a cheese pizza that was one of the best I've had. Crust, sauce and cheese were excellent! My wife had a calzone and salad that we shared and it was just as good. We were in town for the marathon and were seeking a good pizza place, we've found it and I highly recommend it. read more

I did an olive oil base with cheese and pepperoni. My favorite thing about this pizza was the crust. Perfect flop and perfect crunchiness of the edges. My second favorite thing was the pepperonis. This place was a lot of fun. We wanted to try something unique while on vacation and we stumbled in on trivia night and had a lot of fun. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming. My kid thought it was really cool to play trivia at a bar and considering we just left Disney World, it was nice to have a late dinner that was almost as exciting to her. I'm visiting Orlando for the kiddos last vacation before school starts and after reading the reviews here, figured this place was a no-brainer based on how fantastic people said V Pizza was. The staff at the front were friendly. We ordered two pizza, and 10 of their Hawaiian wings that people mentioned were to die. Just an important note is that at 10pm they limit their menu to only a select few items. So we had their cheese and pepperoni pizzas, along with the wings. These pizzas are 10 inches and are about $14-15 when including taxes. I ended up getting a 3rd pizza. With 3 kids and two adults, you will need at least 3 pizzas if coming after 10., I spoke with the very friendly owner. Good quality pizza and good staff is what he's all about. Absolutely delicious and amazing service! For our last night in the area my sisters and I ventured away from the parks and springs restaurant and now I wish we had gone earlier in the trip! All pictures were half eaten already as it was so amazing! Added eggplant to the veggie and the Quattro fromaggio was one of the best I've had!!! We visited V Pizza on a Friday around 8pm. There was no line so we walked right in and ordered. I was a little confused that the printed menu was updated, but the screen menus still had some items that they didn't serve. The wine and drinks also weren't available at the first counter, you had to go the bar to order. My friend got a Hawaiian pizza and I got a calzone. I went and got a Negroni at the bar. They felt a little understaffed, but let me tell you, this was one of the best Negronis I've had in Orlando. The plates and utensils were self serve, which we didn't realize, but one of the servers very kindly got some for us. The pizzas arrived extremely fresh, and their crust was just delicious. It was fluffy but still had a nice color on the outside and the seasoning was so nice. I absolutely loved my calzone, it could've used a little more cheese, but the toppings that I added were generous, and the size was very reasonable for the price. Overall, I was so happy with the food that we had here. I would absolutely go back. I took off a star just for signage and clarity of the process, but I honestly can't wait to go back to this place. Also, at the table next to us there was a family with kids who were playing with pizza dough and it really took me back to when I was a kid and they used to get us pizza dough to entertain us. She a slice that was a little under done) I ordered the Signature Wings (fresh lemon, rosemary, garlic, EVOO and V spice mix, topped with caramelized onions) I absolutely loved these wings. The flavor profile was tremendous. For the pizza I chose Salsiccia Pizza ( San Marzano tomato sauce, provolone, mozzarella, spicy Italian rope sausage, roasted bell pepper & onion mix, and a drizzle of Calabrian pepper oil) Once again I loved this! It had a spice but nothing over the top. The pizza crust was cooked perfectly all around. We noticed that they offer a fully stocked bar while we were eating. Figured we could contribute to the restaurant. Since they were being generous giving us 2 free dinners. I got my wife a lemon drop martini which she thought was good. I ordered an Old Fashion which was made perfectly. Great cocktails for an awesome pizza. We spoke with a manager at the end of service. I thought she was really friendly. Stopped by V Pizza, and ordered the Piccante Pizza and Cryin' Hawaiian Chicken Wings. The good: The Piccante Pizza is delicious with a hint of spice, but nothing overwhelming. The dough is thin, and it does not feel too heavy after eating a couple of slices. The Cryin' Hawaiian Chicken Wings were marinated very well with some sweetness to it. The bad: Nothing at all. Since it is in a shopping plaza, parking is definitely not an issue and if you have an electric vehicle, they have a charging station there, as well. They have a menu varied enough that most can find something that would interest and intrigue them and the food is pretty solid. We had wings and pizza and both were very good. Pizza and wings are a great combination and they truly do this amazing and iconic combination justice. Also, with the wings they give you a choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing (or both). We ate here today and had a good experience. It's cafeteria style where you order, fill your drink, get your plates and silverware and pick a table. It's clean and bright and there is music playing. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We each ordered the Caesar Salad and were glad the dressing was on the side. It was good and I had plenty of croutons. We shared a small order of the V wings and let me tell you, these were tasty, perfectly seasoned, the skin crisp, but not too crisp. If you like wings, don't hesitate here. As for the pizza, full disclosure...I'm from Brooklyn and it takes a lot to measure up. Dave Portnoy himself would've approved--crispy, charred bottom, and full of flavor. We also tried the signature wings, and let me tell you, these were not your average wings. Carnivora pizza was liberal in meat but the cheese distribution could be a tad more spread out to have a piece of it on every slice. Caprese salad was fresh and drenched balsamic was sweet, the tomatoes and salad medley combo in it were both fresh. Wings were finger licking good and not to worry, there's a big roll of paper towel on each table. Drinks were unlimited, with an option of ice tea if you're not a soda drinker. We have been here many times and let me start by saying the Pizza is amazing! However you must like it with a crisp and well done crust, this is a true brick oven establishment and it cooks fast at extremely high heat. This visit I wanted to have a calzone, the one pictured was all meat and although looks burnt it was not, maybe this time slightly overcooked but not worth making a fuss as it was still good. Perhaps my only issue was all the meat was packed around the edges, but it was stuffed! Ambiance is fine, a few TVs with sports (no volume) and music playing throughout the restaurant. I would say our only issue was this- My wife also ordered a calzone but cheese only. She always orders calzones the same way anywhere we go- extra ricotta/less mozzarella. This does not seem to be an issue anywhere else as it is more of a "balance" of cheese request rather than an "extra"request. This place however wanted to charge $2.50 for the extra ricotta AND $2.50 to make it with less mozzarella. Mmmm don't think so. We will be back, but no modifications. read more
