The food was perfect after a 2.5 mile hike. The beertender was fun and engaging. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back again!

I sampled three different brews, and each one was well-crafted and full of flavor. One of the unique aspects of this brewery is that it only holds a brewery license, so food is ordered from the neighboring establishment, Burgers, Brats & Beers. The arrangement works well enough, but it can feel a little awkward at first if you're expecting a traditional brewpub where food and drinks are ordered from the same place. The property itself is fantastic. There's a large outdoor yard that's perfect for families with kids and for those bringing their dogs along. The spacious patio creates a relaxed atmosphere, and with the garage doors open, the brewery seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces. It feels open, inviting, and ideal for spending a few hours with friends. During our visit, there was live music, which added even more energy to the experience. Another highlight was the ability to view the brewing operation and get an up-close look at the brewing process. For beer enthusiasts, it's always fun to see where the magic happens. Overall, this is a great brewery with fantastic beer, friendly staff, a family- and dog-friendly atmosphere, and plenty of entertainment. Whether you're stopping by for a pint, live music, or to learn more about brewing, it's a place well worth visiting.

The location alone makes it worth a visit, with beautiful views of the water and a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for spending an afternoon or evening outdoors. One of the standout features is the outdoor music stage. It is perfectly positioned near the river, and they consistently seem to bring high-quality bands to town. If you enjoy live music, this is one of the best venues in the area. The combination of great music, river views, and an outdoor setting creates a fun and memorable experience. The seating options are spread throughout the property, with tables and chairs on the deck overlooking the river as well as additional seating closer to the stage. Because the venue is popular, it can be challenging to find a seat near the stage during busy events, so arriving early is a good idea. The food was another pleasant surprise. We ordered the burger and a pizza, and both exceeded our expectations. The menu is casual, but the quality was better than we anticipated and paired well with a night of live music. The craft beer selection is somewhat limited, but the prices are reasonable and there are enough options to satisfy most visitors. One thing to keep in mind is that the venue is largely open-air. During the Texas summer, it can become uncomfortably hot, especially during the afternoon. Fortunately, the atmosphere and river breeze help make up for it once the sun starts to go down. Overall, this is an excellent place for live music, drinks, good food, and socializing with friends while enjoying beautiful river views. It has a laid-back Texas Hill Country feel that makes it one of Glen Rose's most enjoyable gathering spots.

They had an open mic when we were there on a Sunday, and the talent was great! They were pretty busy, but they had outdoor and indoor seating. The service was friendly, but not the fastest in the world. We had a brisket sandwich with onion rings ($14.95) - the quantity and taste were great, but the food was just lukewarm. Their wood-fired pizza is very tasty. It's a thin crust, so I love that! Pints of most craft beer is $5.00, so that's a bargain. There's a 2.9% admin fee on your check when you get it. When I asked what it was, they said it was for using a credit card. They didn't know I was using a credit card when they brought the check to me, so pay attention to it if you are paying with cash. They'll remove the fee if you ask.
