What a beautiful venue! We went to see a concert there and sat in very comfortable, red velvet seats. Very nostalgic! The sweet lady that sat us gave us a little history on it. This is a charming old theater located on the town square and surrounded by a great selection of shops, restaurants, drinking establishments, and history. There's plenty of free parking, plenty to see and do before and after the show. The crowd is a diverse mix of locals and tourists. The theater itself presents a small, intimate music venue. There are no bad seats. The lobby has a concession stand that sells snacks and drinks, including alcohol. The staff is welcoming. Sound and lighting was very good. Decor is what you would expect, old time theater seating. Temperature was very comfortable. The band we came to see was excellent. They used foggers and the venue is so small it overwhelmed the first few rows. They had to open the doors and air it out. I highly recommend the venue for daytime shows. Night shows are going to be hit and miss due to the abuse of alcohol. We had a few people at our concert who were obnoxiously drunk. They sang over the band. They shined their cell phone lights at the crowd. They wouldn't stay in their seats and kept shouting. Theater staff did nothing. Another issue is the location of the bathrooms. They are located down a hall accessed by a door in the front left corner of the venue. This means that whenever anyone has to go, they have to walk down the aisle and cross in front of the band that is playing. (The stage is only elevated a foot or so.) This is distracting for the people in the first several rows and for the band. Bottom line, this is a great place to see a performance up close and personal during the day. Otherwise, there's a good chance you might be disappointed. read more

I attended a concert here. Was told no standing or dancing. The employees and owners were very rude. I drove over 2 hours to be disrespected. A concert is boring if you can't dance and jam out. I would suggest seeing a concert and live music anywhere but here. read more

Great shows, wonderful intimate venue where attendees can bring in their own beverages/alcohol is fine (as they don't have a liquor license). Terrific location, right on the Granbury square so it's easy to have a nice dinner on the square before enjoying a show at Granbury Live. read more

This is a very small venue for music fans. Recently attended a concert here and it was a cool day but air conditioning was running full blast, far too cold! The seats in this venue are old and worn out, should have been replaced years ago. The seats either sag in the middle or are lopsided with one side higher so you can not be comfortable. Believe this could be a much better place if seats replaced and air conditioning kept to a minium. read more

Maybe 5 stars is a little too much, but we have such a good time here. The latest show was a variety show. A comedian, the gypsy fortune teller, singers, Miss Texas, 2 incredibly talented country and western singers. We clapped and smiled from beginning to end. If you've never been, check out the website. There is something different every weekend. Price is very fair for 2 hours of entertainment. You could catch this show Saturday afternoon, and then see a play at the Granbury Opera House that night! Granbury is a great town and there is plenty to do. Come see what small town Texas has to offer! read more

We visited 2 nights in a row: first night was a 70's rock & roll revue; Saturday night was Texas Flood. The proprietor is a bundle of energy. Very friendly, appreciative of our business. The place is small, maybe 300 seats, no bad seats in the place. Concerts were on time, sound was excellent. Seats were comfortable. bands were GREAT, especially Texas Flood. if you are in Granbury, you must go to a concert at this place. read more

Very disappointed that we bought tickets To see Lisa Lane impersonating Patsy Cline as our tickets clearly showed. There was no Patsy Cline at all. While leaving everyone was upset because they all thought as we did that they would have an afternoon of Patsy Cline music. Several of us showed the manager our tickets and they took no responsibility at all. Very deceptive. Even Lisa Lane said it would have been very hard to get into costume for Patsy Cline. Mistakes are made but no one took ownership. read more

My wife and some friends went to see Jim Stafford there last weekend. I was excited to see him again as we've seen him in Branson at his theatre. I didn't see a great deal of the first half of the show because I was greatly distracted by someone seated one seat over from my left. He spent most of the first half of the show texting on his phone. The bright light of his phone and the constant clicking of him typing his messages was greatly distracting to me and probably others around us. He was in the end seat to the far left of the audience seating. That's very annoying and also very disrespectful to the performer. I finally said something to him to please go to the lobby if he wished to carry on his conversation. Turns out, he was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. What? He better than anyone else in the room should know better. He quit and apologized to me but by then I'd already missed or at the very least didn't enjoy the first part of the show. I don't know if this fellow is the owner or just works there, but I feel after spending about $85 for my wife and I to see this show I feel cheated. I would have to want to see someone really bad to ever go back to that venue. The last half of the show was wonderful. I wish I had seen it all. Thank you so much Mr. M.C. for ruining a potential wonderful evening. read more
