Avoid doing ANY business with this company! My roadside assistance company, Allstate, called VW Towing to tow my pickup truck. VW said that they would be there in 1.5 to 2 hours. At the 2 hour mark, I tried calling VW for an updated ETA. There was no answer and the call went to voicemail and a recording that the mailbox was full. I then called Allstate. They called VW on my behalf and we're assured that a tow was on the way and will be there in 20 minutes. An hour later, still no truck from VW Towing and no answer when I called. I called Allstate back. They tried to call VW but didn't get an answer on either phone number that they had for them. VW Towing had obviously lied about ever dispatching a tow. our insurance company booked VW towing. to be honest I was a little nervous when I saw the reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised when they texted and then called to verify where the car was and if we were there. a few minutes later the car was on the flatbed headed to the shop. great service and right on time! read more

I called them through Tow365 dispatch. They left me stranded for 3 hours. I waited way past the 90 mins window before calling them. They said they would be here in 20 mins that they were having trouble with the weather. Another half hour goes by and I call again, they tell me that they are down a truck and tell me they are 15 mins out. Another half hour, goes by and I cancel the tow through the service and go with someone else. They called me back to ask me why I'm canceling since they are five mins away (asked in a tone suggesting I would be crazy for cancelling now. This company obviously couldn't handle the call, yet instead of releasing my call so someone else could handle it, they were greedy and kept me stranded. read more

Don't believe ALL of what you read. I was going based off these reviews and created problems I didn't yet have with them. Canceled before I even had an issue which isn't like me. So as I was cancelling and arguing with the insurance company the tow truck pulled in exactly when the dispatcher said they'd be there...feel like an @$$ read more

Marco from V.W. Towing crossed our paths twice yesterday when my partner and I got a blown out tire on 93 N. USAA originally dispatched another company to help us, which had us wait over an hour for their response, to which they denied the ability to come help us on the highway. While waiting for the first tow-truck, Marco was out on 93 N looking to help people stranded on a cold, windy, dark, and rainy night. This was a scary incident. Marco first stopped and offered us help, to which we declined, hoping that help was on the way. Our call for help was sent to AAA, after the first company refused to help us, which meant V.W. towing and Marco, the only guy out working last night for this company. He then came BACK to us, knowing we were the ones he had already stopped by, and quickly got us off the highway and was able to change our blown tire with a spare. It took some time, and threw off a date night, but all of us ended up being safe. Happy Holidays, and thank you again. USAA dispatched them for a roadside assistance claim. They accepted the job then no-showed and did not respond to repeated texts or calls from myself nor from USAA. Good thing I was in a safe location and had the time to spare... but it was still 90 minutes of my weekend I'll not get back. read more

I spoke to a young guy in dispatch at 3:19pm confirming the driver would be here in an hour. It's been 2.5 hours now and now I can't reach anyone at their office on a Saturday. On Google they're listed as permanently closed with no number to call. How my insurance even continues doing business with this corrupt 3rd party provider makes me question if I should also change my insurance.... I already payed $85 through my insurance for this service but I called to cancel and called Tedesco instead. Worth the extra money paying a company that answers their phones. read more

we called at 7am because we have Allstate Ins which uses VW Towing. they said TWO hour wait so we waited. 9am came and went...we tried to call BUT they answered the phone and hung up on us TWICE. we called a 3rd time and they didn't answer but we couldn't leave a message bc the mailbox was FULL. ALL this time they kept texting that they were 15 minutes away...5 minutes away...THREE minutes away...but NEVER SHOWED UP!! its now the NEXT day and we called Allstate again to try for our car which won't start to be towed to our mechanic!! They say they are sending another tow company...we will see! read more

I waited 2 and half hours for him and he doesn't wear a mask I m not exaggerating 2 and a half hours to get towed mike up the road.

Had a scheduled tow via insurance and they never showed. When I called them they said that they never got my order but I received a text confirmation that their driver ASM would be arriving in 45 min. Thanks guys! read more
