I had an extremely concerning experience at this salon. When I sat down, I noticed the utensils they were about to use were not sanitized -- they were visibly covered in mold. I politely asked about it, and was told they were "clean," but it was very clear they were not. I told them I wasn't comfortable continuing and decided to leave. When I stepped outside to report them to TDLR, I noticed their posted license did not match the business name, so I went back in to take a photo for the complaint. The owner immediately began screaming at me. I explained I was just taking a photo of the license for TDLR, but she continued yelling, told me to leave, and as I was walking out, the owner struck me in the back of the head, hit my back, and clawed down my back. I have filed both a police report and a formal complaint with TDLR. On top of that, there were cats roaming inside the salon -- which is a TDLR violation -- and operating under a license with a different name is also a violation. This was not only unprofessional but unsafe. I do not recommend this salon. read more

I don't know what kind of magic gel they use here but my daughter and I both got Gel X full sets 4 weeks ago and they are holding strong for both of us. Elissa takes care of you and she genuinely cares about her customers and her staff. I'm a very happy patron and recommend them all the time. My French manicure was absolutely horrible and my cuticles were butchered. I requested it be taken off because of the streaking and the inconsistency of the color, but that was denied. She offered (the cashier lady) to fix it which I was ok with me, but the white streaking was not looking much better and the constant pouring of acetone on my bloody cuticles was becoming a pain. I kept pointing out the mistakes, but apparently it was all in my head (according to the lady) and she said they would still charge me even if they took it off. That was repeated to me several times as if I was being the difficult one. I asked for a different color so it wouldn't look so horrible, but that was also denied. She said the man already did the work and I still needed to pay for it. To be honest, I wasn't looking for a free manicure, I just wanted what I paid for. I take nothing away from the gentleman who did the job, at least he would apologize when he would make mistakes and when he saw my cuticles were bleeding. I don't expect people to be perfect. No one is. The lady from the register on the other hand: No apologies about the horrible work or bleeding cuticles. Apparently, the reason it came out bad was because I didn't get the more expensive gel nails. That was the explanation from her. When she saw I wasn't satisfied, she just proceeded to ignore me. My daughter, on the other hand, had a good experience with the lady that did her gel x nails. It was great work. I'll never go back considering the bad customer service, but I don't blame the nail technicians for that. I don't believe in being aggressive to anyone in customer service...ever. People work hard. I recognize that. I just want a good nail experience with my daughter. Photos speak for themselves. This was my "fixed" manicure that I had to pay for. You guys can decide whether I'm exaggerating or not. read more

Started coming here about 3 months ago after moving into the apartments above them and have been very impressed! They use high quality products (I get med-long length acrylics and they stay on for weeks without any lifting + very easy to soak off for removal), have a kind friendly staff, spacious work stations, and fair pricing when compared to other salons in the area. I do wish they had more options and variety available when it comes to nail designs - like transfer foils and more colors for intricate design details but they do a great job executing my nail ideas with the products they do have! read more

RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!! I'm not usually one for bad reviews, but I have never left an establish in such a terrible mood. I hate being taken advantage of - and this nail salon 100% takes advantage of people. First off, the man told me that a regular pedicure would be $45 and the gel would only be $10 more, so I opted for gel. I later found out that regular pedicures were actually only $35 according to their menu. They also started to use the callous remover, before I stopped and asked if it was extra $ - and what do you know, of course it was. But that was the least of my problems. To start, they only inform you of all of their extra fees after you've sat down and begun. They charged me extra $ ON TOP OF THE $50 MANICURE for taking off my previous SNS, even though their menu states that its INCLUDED - oh, but they told me if I had gotten them done there the time before they wouldn't have charged me (ridiculous). Then they proceeded to charge me extra $ for KEEPING my almond shape nails. You read that right, ANY shape other than square they will charge you extra for, even if your nails are already that shape. They charged me extra $ for 4 tips which I'm used to, but still. And to top it off, it's an extra $15 for a regular French manicure. They didn't care that their menu says SNS removal is included, or that their menu said only extra charges for silhouette and coffin shaped nails. On top of their ridiculous add ons, I asked to change my nail color to match my toes (since I ditched the French idea). She assured me it was matching even though her coworker was obviously signaling that it wasn't. But after asking again, I trusted her - my mistake. The color came out completely different from my toes. And not just different, AWFUL. A nasty pee yellow color. They didn't care AT ALL. Wouldn't comp anything, and I would have been charged EXTRA to fix it. FOR A STANDARD COLOR SNS MANI AND A PEDI, I PAID A WHOPPING $140. ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY DOLLARS. FOR THE WRONG NAILS. After paying an arm and a leg, I literally went to ANOTHER PLACE to fix the awful color. Even though I knew I would have to pay, I refused to give this salon any more money. So that costed me an EXTRA $20. OH and they'll tell you there is a tiny disclaimer at the bottom of their menu that states that "prices can change." Worst nail establishment I've ever been to. Don't let the nice decor fool you. Will never come back and will make sure none of my friends get taken advantage here either. You should do the same! read more
