He looked at my hair and looked at the picture, and he said I would need to do the chopstick method. I said fine, as long as he could do it like the picture. He scheduled me with Mac since he's the one who does that service. Hours of time off from my job plus $300-$400, all so Mac could use regular coils. When my hair was done, it looked permed, but not like the picture. I thought time or a few days would give it the final touch after following the instructions I was given. Nope. My hair literally has straight roots and curly ends. I have a picture from just days after having it done. My husband informed Andy, and we had to go based on Mac's schedule. Unfortunately, my schedule also involved having a family member in the hospital at that time. After we finally were able to schedule a day, we were told we still had to pay. It's really upsetting to pay money for something you didn't get. Do better, please.

I am extremely picky and prior finding Allen, I was NEVER fully-satisfied with my haircuts. I have extremely THICK THICK hair, so thick that it billows outward and makes my head look like a big dumb wide-based cone, if I allow just anyone to cut it. Allen is like a hair artist - he is SUPER meticulous, and cuts and "thins" my hair out to 100% PERFECTION. Without me asking, he always takes extra time to make sure my hair looks EXACTLY how I want, which usually takes WELL-over an hour, due to the length and thickness of my hair. I always feel so pretty and confident every time I leave his chair. He is and always will be the ONLY stylist I will let touch my hair, since 2013!! For those who like to chat a whole lot, I will say that Allen is more on the quiet side. Part of it is due to the fact that he's always laser-focused on what he's doing. Regardless, he is always extremely polite, brilliant, and hard working at what he does. I HIGHLY recommend him, especially if you have super thick/wide hair that makes your head look like a cone, like i do!

We asked for layers & we agreed a good 1.5 inches to cut off the dead/dry ends w/the stylist. During her service, the stylist did not section nor measure any part while cutting. I gave her the benefit of the doubt as all stylist have their own way of cutting hair. To cut the story short, here's the BEFORE & AFTER - stylist wanted to charge $75 for LONG & THICK HAIR. I refused the price & she said it's the end of the night & didn't want to argue & said $65. Paid it as furious as I was & left. Came into the car for my daughter to tell me she also SHAVED some of her baby hair in the back without asking while she had her head down & didn't know what was going on till it was too late.
