We flew out of Dolphin and they parked our…read morevehicle (long term rental vehicle from employment), along with another vehicle from our party. Never once were we asked if vehicle needed to be returned to Avis or did we tell the employee to return on our behalf. Only upon our arrival back into Sarasota did they realize they had inadvertently returned our vehicle without our permission or knowledge with over $800 worth of personal items inside (clearly showing anyone parking/driving this is a personal car and not intended to be returned). Avis is claiming the vehicle was returned without items of value and dolphin is claiming it's not their fault. Dolphin is taking absolutely no responsibility for anything that has happened, no apology whatsoever, and even their general manager would not take or answer our call until we were transferred to him without his knowledge of who we were, and clearly took accidentally. Once on the phone with The manager, who gave immediate attitude right off the bat, he proceeded to tell us it's not their fault and pointed the finger to Avis. In the end, he proceeded to hang up on me after stating it was my fault that I left personal items (including a second wallet) In the car. Once I called back in to speak with someone different, I had the pleasure of speaking with friendly Joe with customer service who proceeded to tell me that the manager is the "big dog" who calls the shots and what he says goes. Never could I imagine owning a business and having someone entrust their vehicle with me and they come home to the vehicle gone along with all of their personal items and not care AT ALL to find out what happened or to help make the situation better. Would recommend flying anywhere but here. **Update: after going back and forth via email for four weeks asking for Dolphin to meet us halfway and reimburse us for half of the value of items stolen ($400), they have taken the stance that they did more than enough by allowing us a rental for two days (we used for less than 24 hrs before it was returned and had to fight Dolphin to pick up the cost so we could get home with three young children!!!). Again, it blows my mind that someone would loose a costumer who has flown out of that airport over 10 times in the past two years all because they do not want to take responsibility and do the right thing. I 100% would recommend flying anywhere but here!

The day the limo was scheduled it had a maintenance issue but Jenny was able to find us another limo in time for our pickup! Jenny told me that she would give me complimentary 4 hours the next time I wanted to book a limo. I thought that was very nice but didn't book until 16 months later. I never mentioned the complimentary 4 hours to her. Sfter I filled out the contract she texted me that she would honor my Complimentary 4 hours! I was astonishe! After all those months she remembered. You will not find a better limo company anywher. Our driver was Ric and he was great! Josh from Luxlifestyle limos is a crook and the company is a huge scam. I purchased a Groupon offer…read moreof theirs for $125 for a 3 hour limo ride. I have not used their service nor redeemed the Groupon and they are refusing to refund me. This all started when I called to book the limo and the lady at their company tells me its actually for a sedan. I have posted screenshots above of the offer, so feel free to look at it so you can tell me where on the offer it states its for a sedan. Basically, they're luring customers in to buy the Groupon and then squeezing more money out of them by now making them HAVE to pay more for an actual limo, when you are under the impression you already have by purchasing the Groupon. So, I tell her fine I just want whatever is covered by the Groupon I bought and ask her for overrall total w taxes etc. She then tells me $150. I ask her "you mean $150, ON TOP of what I paid for your Groupon?!" She tells me yes, and that the addtl $150 is for driver gratuity. At this point, I know for a fact that this company is a scam, and I demand a refund. No driver gratuity for a sedan for $125 flat should ever be that much money. She tells me she will have to let her manager know. I wait for a call from the manager the entire day, but no call. So I call the next morning and ask for a manager. First, someone named Wes says he is the manager then when I ask for a refund, thats when Josh picks up. These people are blatant liars. Josh doesn't even know who I am or what I'm calling about which means the lady I spoke with previously never told him about my refund. Not suprised. In colorful language I tell him I want my money back and I NEVER will use the service. He assures me that they will issue my refund and call me back. I also asked for an email for my records. To this day, I have not received an email, phone call or refund. Mind you, I never used their service or redeemed the Groupon. They basically stole from me. I posted screen shots of my purchase along with their offer info. Please read their terms closely and compare it to what I have written. AND PLEASE, DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR GROUPON, THEY WILL LIE ABOUT THEIR OWN TERMS TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU.

I've stayed at many Airbnb's throughout the last several years and this is the first horrible…read moreexperience I've had. The main issue is the host. I highly recommend to stay away, she proved herself to be a complete liar. The host ruined our first night of vacation. The location is very residential, not a close walk to any bars or restaurants, and at least a 15-20 minute drive to get to downtown Sarasota. The pool was dirty and cold (have pictures where you can clearly see a bunch of debris floating on top). The host also wouldn't let us stay in one suite because she had a family member staying there. He was really creepy. The suite itself was nice, but the patio was awful. It was cramped, and had no view or privacy. The space was small and not competitive with prices in the area. We were disappointed and very kindly asked to cancel our remaining reservation. The host became unresponsive and we got a notification from Airbnb that they were trying to change our reservation to keep the same dates and charge us an additional $151 for absolutely nothing. We tried to kindly reason with her but she tried blaming it on "the owners," which was odd because they advertise themselves as the owners. We have messages from the host stating they aren't the owner, yet she responds to reviews stating she is the owner. It's honestly a little crazy. Eventually, the host stopped talking to us and Airbnb had to step in and cancel for us, Airbnb told us that the host was trying to charge us two nights plus fees for staying one night. Luckily, Airbnb felt the host was unfair and sided with us and canceled the remaining reservation for a small fee. The biggest issue with this place is the host and her lies. If you look through the attached photos you can find a few instances where she lies. She tries to say she isn't charging additional fees, when I have an email asking me to approve additional charges. She says she isn't the owner when she states that she is the owner in the response. She states that Airbnb sided with her and they charged me for two nights when my receipt shows airbnb cancelled after the one night and only charged for one night. I would not recommend this location to anyone, particularly young professionals looking for a vibrant place to stay. She deserves to go out of business due to her tendency to lie.

The gumbo limbo location is just steps from the sand and water. And they have a pool and outdoor showers! All the shops and restaurants are very close less than 5 min away. The "Tulip House" in Sarasota is about 10 min from the sand, shops, and restaurants in siesta. Everything is always super cute and renovated! Appliances are always clean and nice! And the tulip house has its private pool with an amazing size backyard! We loved our stay! Due to Covid they sanitized the home so well! We felt absolutely comfortable! This was our 3rd stay with Gumbo limbo vacation Rentals!! Virginia is always available for any questions I had and she's an amazing host! Thank you!
