I went to the outlets at 11 am on a Thursday and it was very quiet. I was able to be in and out of stores quickly even with a child. Prices are reasonable and the employees are super helpful and very friendly. First time here. Probably won't be coming back just because it is out of my way. They had a lot of shops! Even a Sanrio except I didn't go in there. Seriously? A Sanrio outlet? I guess the stuff is a bit pricy. It was nice to go into a gucci store even though it was an outlet. The workers there are so nice. Also there was a burberry outlet. I love this outlet! I always try to make it out here when I'm visiting my relatives in Nor Cal. The outlets here are cheap. My favorite store is CK. This place is pretty big and its kinda annoying because it split between a road. I'm constantly moving my car around the outlet when I shop here. Had what I would consider a "Pretty Woman" experience! (But not in a good way.) Was so excited that RH had opened a new store in Vacaville and couldn't wait to check it out. They're usually closed by the time I get back in town but tonight I got back a bit early, wanted to just take a peek and walked in about 7:45 p.m. There were three employees, not one customer in the store. No one ever greeted me or acknowledged my presence. In fact, it absolutely felt like they were going out of their way to avoid me. After taking a brief look around, I asked one of the employees walking by what time they closed, as I never want to be THAT customer rushing in two minutes to closing and keeping employees late. The employee never once cracked a smile, basicaly gave me a somewhat irritated look and in a curt and somewhat rude voice, "8:00 o'clock, we are closing right now!" I knew I hadn't been there very long but thought maybe time had gotten away from me. Got back out to my car and it was 7:50. My late hours are due to the fact that I own a business out of town. A business that I needed to refurnish ... with LOTS of furniture, three conference rooms' worth as well as a reception area hopefully before year's end. My plan was to take a quick look, make an appointment with a designer for another day, and go from there. After this experience, I think perhaps I'll go out of town to CB2, West Elm, or a variety of other furniture stores and designers that will hopefully be able to give a bit of customer service that was sorely lacking at this establishment. This is an expansive little strip mall with quite a few different outlet stores, including basically any kind of clothing outlet or shoe shop you'd probably ever need. I'm not much of a shopper for those kinds of things, but every now and again it's neat to check out some outlet stores in search of uncommon bits and bobs, like every kind of Skechers sneakers under the sun, or a rainbow myriad of different Converse styles all in one location. Downsides of the mall, however, include a general lack of restrooms, insofar as most of the shops do not have restrooms at all, but instead you need to head down the line to a public restroom that all of them share. I realize that this is pretty standard in shopping malls, which I suppose is along a similar vein, but on colder, rainy days (which include the time we visted), hiking around the corner and down the line to find an undersized restroom with doors some maintenance person had propped open with a screwdriver (even though the maintenance person was nowhere to be seen) was not ideal. The restrooms don't have "privacy corners," either, so from outside you can look directly in past the sinks and urinals directly to the stall wall. On sunny days it's probably not bad, and maybe propping the door open was a temporary measure for some reason. And there were some good deals going on in the stores, as well; I got a pair of gold Converse sneakers for $6.50 or so, inclusive of tax, which was fun. We'll probably be back, but if we eat in the area we'll use a restroom elsewhere before our visit. read more

This plaza has a very western cowboy ambiance with all the wood siding clad buildings. The parking lot here is incredibly large. There's a lot of brand name stores. The food court here consisting of Taco Bell and a couple other things feels out of place. The interior barely has any lights and looks like its due for a renovation. read more

Great outlets! Personally my favorite outlets in the Bay. This has always been a great place, but the stores have definitely improved in the last 5 years or so. Lots of high end stores and the best athletic brands as well. Personally, I go to The North Face, Nike, Adidas, and Timberland the most. FYI, this place is ridiculous on Black Friday, pretty crazy most holiday weekends, and generally busy every weekend. The best time to go is definitely a weekday! read more

I was just a Pac Sun outlet store at Vacaville Premium stores. First off Cash only, then I forgot to put on my mask and the staff began talking smack about me. I am human and left and was going to go back in the store and meet up with my family who was already in the store. As soon as I left my family said their comments were so mean. Excellent selection of stores! Vacaville Premium Outlets is one of the largest outlets I've been to. It has a good variety of stores for both men and women. My favorite stores to shop include: Nike, Under Armour, and New Balance. The Kate Spade store is also very popular as well. I like coming here on Black Friday, but it can get extremely busy. The outlet is so big that there are two main shopping areas with separate parking lots. However, the lot that contains Nike and Kate Spade is definitely more popular, so I would recommend parking in the other lot with Banana Republic and Gap during busy shopping periods. read more

Great easy access right off the I-80. They have stores like the GAP, Banana republic and bath and body works just to name a few! They aslo have prada and guccui as well so this outlet mall is great for all budgets. Even though im not a big fan of outlet malls, I really enjoy going to this one in particular because its easy to walk around, especially with a young child. read more

I love the outlets! I feel like outlets are better than regular malls since you get the nice brands for cheap! There are a ton of Asians who hoard handbags at the stores and re-sell it in Asia... I mean hey... everybody has their grind... My favorite part about VPO is that they have Kate Spade! AHHH! They also have Gucci,Coach, Michael Kors, Nike, Abercrombie & Fitch, The North Face etc. I could seriously spend hours here... The only thing that sucks is parking on weekends. Review #113 - 2016 I use to come here a lot before they decided to open up the San Francisco Premium Outlet out in Livermore and moved the Burberry Store out there. I was a Burberry whore at one time...I have their coats, sweaters, handbags, scarfs, hats, polo shirts, pants, umbrella, you name it!! As I got older, I realized that a woman shouldn't have to wear expensive brand names to feel good about herself. It's the person that makes the clothes, not the other way around. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate high end handbags or clothes, it just means I don't wear them to impress anyone else... This outlet carries a pretty wide variety of brands from low end to mid range, no real luxury brands like you would see at the Livermore location though. However, if you're just looking for a nice gift for yourself or someone else, you could find a gift that won't break the bank. The parking lot is plenty big, but it's still really crowded during the holidays especially during Black Friday sales. The food court is nothing worth mentioning, but now that there are so many new restaurants across the freeway, I'd head out that way after I'm done with my shopping. Oh, don't expect the bathrooms here to be clean either because either the employees don't ever clean them or the shoppers just don't have any common courtesy to clean up after themselves. Plus, each bathroom has only 3 or 4 stalls and when it's busy, the lines for the bathrooms are just as bad as the Black Friday sales lines. read more

DEALS DEALS DEALS-- and that is exactly why I did majority of my Christmas shopping at Vacaville. Almost all the stores here had huge sales so the 2hr drive was definitely worth it. Coach had 50% and an additional 20%. Gap had 40%-50% off on most items with an additional 20% friends and family discount on top of that. Banana Republic had 40%-50% off most items as well. After leaving Vacaville I had about 30 people crossed off my Christmas list and I can say it was totally worth spending half of what I would have spent elsewhere. read more

Drop off your lady at store of choice, smile, tell her to call you when she's ready. Slam on gas pedal and screech over to Sports Authority 3 blocks away. They have foosball tables, ping pong tables, and putting green with the balls out for play. Score! There should be plenty of other guys who got tricked into going to outlets, play with them. Eat lunch yet? Take your lady over to Hometown Buffet, across street from Sports Authority. $10 person, all you can eat. Their steak is excellent, not kidding! What kind of man can resist bottomless steak and french fries? And a self-serve slurpee machine? I could cry. Even guys need clothes, so head over to Adidas and Nike outlets. Too sporty? Feeling a bit metrosexual? Head over to Puma. There, they have plenty of styles that make you go "is this for men or women?" After those 3 stores, you should call it a day. You're a guy. I have a confession, I am a man and I don't go out and buy clothes until I have to. I know some about fashion but, it helps if ummm I have a companion to help me pick things out. LOL. I need to get some corporate business attire--being Air Force for so long, I have a learning curve here. I went to Vacaville Premium Outlets to start my fashion update. Here is my first thought--Match belt color with shoes! Belt--ok for a suite, looking at a black one--I looked at a leather vis a silver belt clip for about 20 min, trying to decide what is more professional. This is so stupid! Cant I just go to work... Shoes--I got 4 pairs, 1 brown with dots on the toe, 1 tennis shoe type, and 2 black with a cap toe looking thing. [You can tell I need help in this area]. I got this at Clarks, they are leather, and I was told they are a good quality, but have no idea. I just know my belt and shoes are the same color! If you have comments please let me know. Okay so I am sort of a sucker for outlets-however I go in to it pretty realistically. You have to understand that for many brands such as Ann Taylor, Banana Republic or Gap you are getting clothing "like" what's in the stores...those brands typically have their own outlet version of each season's clothing lines. To me the quality is usually the same anyway, but it's always good to read the labels You also have to be willing to walk away if something is full price. It's also best to go somewhere like this when you have a list of specific things you are looking for (eg. black pants, certain color sweater, running shoes, etc.) Otherwise you are bound to leave there with some impulse buys. So that's my spiel on outlets in general. Now, Vacaville specifically...I really feel they have a good variety of stores and if you look closely some good deals. Their layout is okay. I mean it's not hard to walk across the street between the two sections. My favorite stores are Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and Kenneth Cole. Also the Adidas outlet is pretty good-they will sometimes have deals where you buy one pair and get the 2nd pair 50% off. I typically come here twice a year-fall and spring. One good tip is to sign up for email alerts through the Premium Outlets site. You will get a heads up on sales and coupons. I time my visits based on certain sales-like if Banana Republic has an additional 40% off sale and clearance, etc. I think it's a pleasant walk around the stores, along the walkways and most times I have gone there parking was easy. The food court is kind of lame. You are better off going across the street to Olive Garden-which is kind of cheesy but better than the Taco Bell. Vacaville Premium outlets have about 120 stores. There is the East Plaza and the West Plaza. They are separated by Nut Tree Road. Makes it difficult if the stores that you want to visit are at different plazas. Finding parking can be difficult sometimes. There is one store here that is not found in too many outlet malls. If you want to go to a Gucci outlet store, then head on over to Vacaville, CA. This is one of the few places that has one of their outlet stores. read more

The screaming kids yelling, complaining, and saying things like, "where are we going now mommy?", as they lazily drag their feet towards their parents direction. The multitude of strollers rolling up and down the sidewalk that make it feel as if there are as many strollers as there are cars parked in the parking lot. The long lines, the browsing that takes forever, the unbearable heat today (wait till summer comes), and the rude drivers that don't give the right of way to pedestrians... Yes!!! Vacaville Premium Outlets on the weekends is FAN-TAS-TIC. Why? The Vacaville Premium Outlets are a fun stop on the way back to the Bay Area on Interstate 80. We stopped here on the way back from Tahoe. If you have a AAA card, you can use it to get a discount pamphlet. They don't really check the name or ID, so if you want to split up from your group and you only have one card, just pass it around and you'll be fine. I picked up a Polo polo shirt, a few things from the Banana Republic outlet, and saw a few things that looked interesting at the Nike Outlet, but I didn't take the plunge. Premium? I don't know about that. I think that's the corporate name of the chain of outlets across the US. But if you have some time to kill, or are casually looking for a steal, why not? read more

These outlets are about an hour's drive for us and we try making a shopping trip a couple times a year. There are two sections to the Vacaville Outlets, across the street from each other. They have stores that suit each person's needs. We have our favorites there, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Columbia, Timberland, Nike, New Balance and Jelly Belly. Some stores are a hit or miss and we don't care for the ones that sell products made specifically for their outlet stores. You do see the quality differences compared to their regular stores. Also, the Outlet doesn't necessarily mean cheap prices as you might be able to get better deals during great sales at some of the regular stores of some of these vendors. For some bonus deals, sign up as a VIP member on their premiumoutlets.com website to get a VIP discount book and discount coupons. Using these coupons makes for some awesome deals. Overall, a nice place for a day trip from the City for some shopping. read more

Call me crazy but I LOVE Vacaville. People think I'm nuts just to make the drive out there, but I consider it my one stop on the way to Sacramento to visit family. I could probably stay in Vacaville for hours. Their stores have gone more high-end with Gucci being the newest outlet victim. But I even stood in a long line just to take a peak at the store. Honestly, there was nothing worth seeing in there because if I bought something, I would not have had any money to put into my new Gucci bag. The only thing missing in Vacaville is a Nordstrom Rack. I stopped by as the store was on the way during a trip last month. It was after Christmas and the TNF Outlet continues to have their 50% off the entire store. Similar in inventory to the location in Gilroy but this location is a tad bit smaller in size. I found myself a black soft shell wind jacket in a size small. It was a good deal with the 50% off. Quite happy with this purchase as it is hard finding a size small in the color black. read more

Last weekend some girlfriends and I drove up to the Vacaville outlets. We started out with the food court then made our way to Lane Bryant, the outlet prices here are the equivalent of normal prices at most stores. Next we walked across the parking lot to Charlotte Rouge, and BCBG my favorite store in the outlets, I wish I could afford to take half this store home with me. DKNY, has great investment basics, my friend bought a tan trench here that looked adorable tied over her baby bump. This is also where a store member caught me doing a dorky happy dance... The Converse Outlet which is half clothing, who knew? I can't remember the name of the furniture store, but we tried sitting in at lest half their chairs, clearly they were made just for looks. At this point we decided to check out the second parking lot: Aeropostale (mainly children's clothes, bummer), Cotton Only which is super cheap! Motherhood, for my prego friend; Sanrio, and Bath and Body Works were pretty much the same as any other location. Then there was Claire's, no matter how old you are your never too old for Claire's, they were running a buy two hair accessories get one free offer. Naturally this meant we all had to try on every type of hairpiece in the establishment, right? I will be comming back here. read more

Definitely pulled out my wallet more than I expected to do so during my first experience. The Gucci location really sets it apart from other outlets, and it was the first store we visited. Being the main reason my mother wanted to come to these outlets, she was not disappointed by the selection, purchasing a bag in a color not offered in most other stores. I'm not usually big on outlets, but from $2 skirts at Cotton On to loading up on discontinued colors and kits at Bare Minerals, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of stores that appealed to me. We left with a trunk full of bags. Will return when I'm in the area--too bad it's so faaaaar from where I currently live. read more

The novelty of outlets has definitely worn off for me. It seems like these days there aren't as many good buys and most of the stuff in outlets was specifically made for them, ie cheap stuff. Take for example, Banana Republic. I noticed that pretty much everything there had a "like price" or something like that on the tags, meaning a similar item would have sold at X price in the stores and then underneath it was the outlet price. Why would anyone buy stuff made to be sold at outlets? Anyway, the real reason I came was to look for a bridesmaid dress. BCBG usually has good dress options, but no luck this time. Understandably, I was looking for something pretty specific. If you're just looking for a nice dress, it's still a great option. Coach also usually has some good bargains. I picked up a cute tennis outfit at Adidas, but overall it was a pretty disappointing shopping trip. I hate how half the stores are on one side of the street and the rest are on the other. It's pretty spread out and kind of a pain to drive around to the stores. read more

This is one of the best Outlet's I've been to. I want to say it's almost better than Gilroy's just because it offers more of a variety. Yes...it's rather spread out, but that also means more shops!! C'mon now, isn't that what outlets is all about? The Burberry, Cole Haan, and Nike are awesome, as in..real outlet deals. You can get a Burberry lambswool scarf for $70 or a cashmere one for $120. Occasionally you can also find a good coat. At Cole Haan all the shoes are pretty new, as in you can find stuff thats just one season behind..sometimes in outlets I find some merchandise thats like 2-3 seasons behind and it annoys me so much. Prices are probably 2/3-1/2 of normal store prices, but I can't say that everything is steal. Go to the back if you want older stuff (but also meaning a lot lot cheaper). At Nike, you can find some models for just $19.99 which is pretty awesome (this includes dunks..but not the collectible styles though. those are still probably $69+) Now the Van store, Calvin Klein, Pac Sun and all those ...I wouldn't even consider outlets, they're just like the stores to be honest. But def a place to check out for some good deals !!!! read more
