My wedding was going be on Apirl 2019 but the pandemic hit. Where do I start. On March, my 4 braidmaids purchase their dress at this store. We put a down deposit for their dresses. My niece put about $200 . The rest of my braidmaids put about $120 . Well Martin told me , he was going to purchase them on the magazine. Days pass and never got a call. So my braidmaids and I went to the store to see if they got their dresses, like a week before my "wedding ". Martin told me , Unfortunately we don't have plus sizes on this magazine. He continued , but we can purchase it some other magazines the plus sizes dresses for your two bridesmaids. Like 3 days pass and I call them because we had to cancel my wedding. I spoke to Apirl I believe on the phone. I told her , if I can get my money back. She reply , we can't give your money until we make some sell. I was being mindful of them . I was like ok ill let them make their sell. I let months pass. I call them last yr. The lady answered and she told me , on contract it says we can't give your money back. I told her the conversation we had . She was like well we can't do anything because of the contract. Now that I'm have my wedding this yr . I call them again to see if I can purchase at least two of my braidmaids dresses. No one answered my texts or calls So my niece went to the store like three weeks ago. She talked Martin. She put me on the speakers . Martin told me , you can't purchase your dresses! That the magazine was discontinued. He didn't apologize. He only said, you lost $20 when we lost more(. I left my second dress there. )He continued, if you want to pick up your dress , you need to pay the rest of the money! I was angry that I responded, you stole money from my braidmaids why can't I get my dress !! I went on fb to search Apirl's profile. She doesn't seem she lost money ! HORRIBLE!! I should've looked at their reviews before getting anything with them !!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They don't answer phone calls, and when they do they say they'll call back and never do. I don't live close to their store to be driving just because they don't want to pick up the phone. Martin even told me "why do you have to be calling anyways".. that's really disrespectful to tell a customer. They try to get you by saying "we customize whatever you want" knowing what quinceñera doesn't want her dream dress. CHEAP QUALITY and terribly made for people who speak so highly about themselves. I got the package with them, includes the bible, large pillow, album, money box, champagne set, guest book.. all made as if they don't care about their customers. As if money is all they want from us. It seemed as if everything was hot glued together, almost nothing was sewed on, threads coming off, holes and tears. We don't pay no 99¢ prices to get this type of job done. Thankfully I was able to get my money back for it. And for the quality they give you, with the service as well, they charge way too expensive. i found everything i got with them else where WAY CHEAPER, and better quality. ¡¡HORRIBLE!! ¡Debería haber mirado sus reseñas antes de obtener algo con ellos! TOTALLY RECOMMEND!! I needed my wedding dress in less than 2 weeks after the previous person didn't deliver my dress which was ordered in May 2021. I went into April Black Diamond really disappointed and being sure I wasn't going to get a dress by my wedding date. Martin was very helpful and after I told him my story he asked asked to see a picture of what I wanted. He told me he could make me a better dress before my wedding and he assured me I would be very happy with the results. Here we are 2 days before my wedding and my dress is absolutely beautiful. Martin understood the assignment and he delivered what he promised. He said, "things happen for a reason and I am so happy I found him and Aprils store. I am the happiest future bride in this dress. I would honestly give this place a negative 100. I am a sponsor for a beautiful girls Quincenera and we purchased the dress here for $3,800. She tried a display dress and it fit perfectly, when we went to get the dress it was already in plastic. We brought it home which is more then an hour away. We checked it and the dress was dirty, I believe they gave me the display dress. Asked to speak to the owners and had no luck. Drove back to Los Angeles and were given another dress (that she wasn't fitted for) and it doesn't fit. Asked if they would make adjustments and was told no they are to busy. I would honestly never recommend this place. We don't have time to get a new dress the Quincenera is next month. Rude customer service. No help and just down right disgusting. Negative 100 stars for sure. I only put 1 star because then I wouldn't have been able to submit it. Worst place ever!! read more

Worse customer service ever I don't know where to begin !!! First of all these people are like a mafia group yes literally !!! I walked in to this place looking for a wedding dress I liked one on the mannequin and asked martin how much ? He gave me a very high price and then went down by $1000. I put that in mind and went back to San Diego . I made another trip two weeks after and brought my elderly mother on a rainy day. I walk in and see thd dress infront of me and asked him if I. Can try it on so I can decide if I'll take it TODAY! He said no it's not avaliable to try on we r doing a photo shoot . I asked is it avaliable for sale? He said yes the dress has not been sold yet but come back another day. I explained to him I cannot come everyday I live in San Diego and it's along drive and mom is with me I have to try it on before I purchase anything like that come on it's a wedding dress not buying a corn dog! He then said ok I'll talk to APRIL the owner and come back in two hours. I waited two hours in my car with mom in the rain and went back he finally let me try on the dress. As I was going to take the dress and call it a day he then tells me that it does not include the underskirt petticoat that's another $400 ! My eyes went so big at that moment I felt being so disrespected and fooled around with all these back and forth messages and discussions I don't know if martin has anything to do with this or he's just a worker but I think the owner is lame and she does not have any sense of customer service this place is trash and is not with $3500 for a dress fabric they got from turkey !!!! Turkey has the cheapest beautiful fabric and even if you design it it wouldn't be worth that much ! I'll start off by saying that we had a wonderful experience purchasing a beautiful dress from this place. Martin is a literal angel. He was extremely patient and attentive with us. My sister fell in love with one of the dresses on display there but she wanted to make some changes to it so they custom made it to her liking. To making sure the color matched exactly to literally sewing in more beads and applications the day of the final fitting (at her request).
