We decided to give Flying Chicken Pa-Dak a try after seeing the good reviews, plus we liked that they're open late. The place itself is pretty small, but the customer service was great and everyone was welcoming. We went all out and ordered a combo with wings. We tried the Bulgogi Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza, Lemon Pepper Wings, Sweet Chili Wings, Mango Habanero Wings, Sweet Garlic Wings, and Fried Gizzard. It was definitely a lot of food and a fun way to try several different flavors in one visit. The different wing flavors gave us a little bit of everything, from sweet and garlicky to spicy. The pizzas were also a nice addition, especially the Bulgogi Pizza if you want something a little different from a traditional pizza. The combo also came with a big soda, and you can take the soda home with you, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a fun experience with plenty of food to share and a lot of different flavors to try. This time around the soy sauce were my favorite and I didn't really care for the lemon pepper because they were a bit more on the lemony side. I usually call ahead to pick up because I like to eat my chicken at home with beer, which they also have alcohol options to pick up with an ID. They have someone working front and packing things up. The only thing is, it takes a while for them to fry the chicken so make sure to call a while ahead instead of getting there and coming in to order. I also really like their sweet potato pizza. Inside, they have a solid setup with about 6-7 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a good selection of different pizzas, fried chicken, and other side dishes to choose from. We had gotten a large potato pizza with cheese crust ($4 extra), boneless Padak chicken with green onions with a side of sweet garlic and honey garlic sauce, and a basket of fries. Great price for their combo meals. We got 2 order of the combo wings. The combo comes with 1 medium size pizza, 12 wings, and 1 liter soda of choice. You're able to choose 2 sauces for the wings and we got mango habanero, lemon pepper, honey garlic, and something else. For the pizza, we got bulgogi and Hawaiian. On top of that I ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup which was pretty good. However, there were only like 6 dumplings and lots of rice cake that couldn't be finished. For the most part, I've always had a good experience at Padak. The food is good. That's it. But the customer service we received yesterday at around 7:30pm from the cashier was not satisfactory. He had attitude and clearly was not happy to be working there. It was obvious he didn't understand the menu well which is fine, but don't ruin other people's days with your attitude. On top of that, the pizza which is usually great, was burnt. They wanted to leave a crispy top but ended up burning it and just sent it out of the kitchen. It smelled burnt as we were eating it. It's a small restaurant with three booths and about 6 tables, but comfortable and cushy seating (which I really care about at my age!!). We didn't have to wait that long. First of all, they offer a salad, and some sweet radish (if you ask for it) as an appetizer. It's kind of an interesting coleslaw salad, but actually pretty tasty. And the sweet radish is a pickled daikon radish, which is so delicious. They served our salad and radish in no time at all. They also provide water in a nice container with ice so you can pour your own water and you don't have to wait for them to refill it. We ordered the Bulgogi pizza and some garlic parmesan wings. The wings had were crispy, hot, and had a wonderful garlicky flavor with a parmesan sauce. They were tasty and my partner ate the heck out of them, but they were a bit too saucy for me. The bulgogi pizza is fantastic! Thick crust perfectly cooked, not too chewy, not too doughy. The toppings are bountiful, with every inch of the pizza covered in some kind of goodness. Cheese, green peppers, red onions, red peppers, corn, Bulgogi, of course, and lots of yummy cheese. Sweet and deliciously tasty, with a nice garlic flavor balanced with fresh veggies that still have a little crunch to them (I hate soggy veggies), and a nice beefy bulgogi finish.
