I am a big fan of koko chicken in GG. Probably would rank that location as being in my all time favorite KFC chicken. Good chicken and service so with the same name I came here on my birthday. Let me just say they remodeled the outside but inside you can still see traces of mold and water spots. I wouldn't have noticed all of this because service was slow, there was no music, and and it was warm inside. So it was a bit uncomfortable and what made it worse was the tap water the waitress gave us had no ice. I'm a fan of no ice enforcement but as to warm restaurants it wasn't great. As to the chicken it was okay. Got the half and half and don't expect equal pieces. The one with the sauce were smaller than the no sauce ones. When asked for a metal spoon we were denied of one for the corn cheese we ordered. I cannot recommend this location but I will for sure endorse and go back to the GG location.

I met some friends here for lunch. It's located in a very small strip mall on Orangethorpe next to the 91 freeway. I'd driven by it numerous times and never noticed it until having lunch here. Korean fried chicken is the thing here. We ordered an enormous amount of wings with a variety of sauces on the side. My friends talked about the delicious corn ribs they have here - something I'd never heard of before - so we ordered some of those too. The chicken was really tender and juicy with a perfect crunchy coating that wasn't greasy at all. I ate several pieces without using the sauces as it really doesn't need it. I did try the sweet and sour sauce and their "regular" sauce on a couple pieces, both of which I liked. The soy sauce was okay too but I preferred the other two. The corn ribs (quartered corn on the cob coated with cheese, garlic and...I'm not sure what else) were really delicious. I didn't even mind the corn kernels getting stuck between my teeth. Dang, those things are good! Definitely on the top tier of places that serve wings. I'll be back!

This place is poppin Online order available-- not overpriced from regular menu like some other places do on online order forms. But today we were quoted 35 min wait. Ended up being an hour. Also they couldn't get the order right and mixing up with other people's orders And no utensils included. The wings a little more bland than usual and the radish pickle was fibrous and tasted s little off Fries were good though

Koko's is always the go-to spot for good, reasonably priced Korean Fried Chicken. The quality, crunch, and juiciness of the chicken NEVER disappoints. I also tried the Supreme fries for the first time, and I was taken aback. I am a sucker for their soy garlic, but ordered the original fried wings this time with the sauce on the side. This was a game changer. I would highly recommend this, as you can get the full crunch while still getting your favorite flavor. Service was quick, short, and simple. Great for a night out with some friends! They are open late and can fulfill all your late night cravings.

Great Korean fried chicken wings! One of the best I've tried so far. I'm not a huge fan and I seldomly crave for fried chicken. But I do crave Koko's Soy wings! Soy wings flavor is pretty good. Not spicy, a bit sweet and savory for us weak ones that can't handle the spice. Chicken is crispy on the outside and nicely glazed with their Soy seasoning, and tender and juicy in the inside. You can taste the freshness of the chicken and the oil they fry it in. I wished they had more flavors to choose from. Just Soy that's not spicy and sweet and sour that is spicy. I also appreciate they have items and sides in the menu that is not spicy like corn cheese, soy dukpokki, beef bulgogi, etc. Words cannot expressed how disappointed I was at one of the korean fried chicken place I went to celebrate a friend's birthday yesterday, at the Source. After that, I made a stop at Koko to pick up some legit Korean fried wings before heading home. Lol! I appreciate the complimentary nice tube of pickled radish while some places only give you a tiny portion. Good job Koko! Keep up the good work! Note; if is hot in the summer time. AC is very weak. You will be uncomfortable and sticky :-( but thank goodness summertime is almost over. Small parking lot, gets busier on weekends late nights. But the fact this place is so convenient with free easy parking and right near the freeway, I'm always there.

Service was awesome, plenty of room to seat all of us, and they are open all night!! The Soy Chicken is always a first pick along with the delicious shrimp fried rice. Then we order onion rings and their signature Big Mac sauciness cabbage salad. So tasty!!! Thank you Koko Chicken for always being delicious.

It's a hit or miss... I've gone here many, many times before. For celebrations, gatherings, dates and even takeout. It seems to hit about 75% of the time. But the 25% is where it gets disappointing. The food is usually pretty good - flavorful, well done and put together, and generous portions. During my most recent visit I ordered the soy wings and the super fries, a simple and common combo I usually get with friends and family. But this last visit is what got me - everything felt like it was drenched in old oil - it felt soggy and soaked in oil that it ruined the flavors overall. I was disappointed because it's something I've ordered plenty of times before and they're usually really good! On a good day, assuming fresh oil and not drenched, I'd recommend their original wings, soy wings, super fries, cheese corn and fried jalapeños. All have unique flavors and a good blend of what you're looking for. The service here is typically pretty good. They're usually good at checking in, bringing you your items in a timely manner, making sure everything's ok, etc. and I'd say their service is a bit more consistent than their food. The ambiance here gives Korean pub (as it should). It's sometimes loud but not as loud as their other locations (like Buena Park and garden grove). My friends and I do like that they usually play kpop, so that's a plus for us. Overall, I'd still recommend this place. Their food is usually consistent, but once in a while you may come in on a bad day or just hit a bad batch. It won't deter me from coming back, though!

A great Korean fried chicken spot in La Palma. Their soy garlic wings are the star of the show with how tender and flavorful the sauce is. The complementary radish and salad help lighten up the grease of the wings. And you gotta get the corn cheese on the side to go with the meal. The staff were so attentive to refill the radish and whatever else we needed. I called ahead to make a huge group reservation for 20+ people on a Sunday evening so this spot is great for large groups! They're under construction, but that don't affect how they are on the inside.

One of the better KFC's in the game these days. I don't know if all the KoKo restaurants are connected but this one is delicious. They made this one feel like a drinking establishment but I come for the chicken and sides. Come to think of it, they all feel like drinking establishments. Try the zucchini fries, they come out piping hot.

Late night hunger pangs call for a quick run to KoKo Chicken & BBQ! This place opens until 2am and has the perfect late-night chill Korean pub vibe to close out an activity filled day. The matchup: 10 hungry boys and girls vs. 32 KOKO chicken wings, 1 KOKO strip salad, and 1 corn cheese. The chicken wings were well-seasoned, crispy, and hot from the frier! The chicken wings were introduced well with the corn cheese appetizer and paired well with the light and refreshing salad side. When chomping on these wings at that hour, one cannot help but say, "Wow, that really hit the spot." Overall, hunger super satisfied before heading off to a restful evening.

Rose tteokbokki, classic tteokbokki, kimchi pancake, and drumsticks. SOOO GOOOOD!!

Anyone who knows this place knows it is the most reliable late-night Korean fried chicken place there is. The chicken is so fresh and juicy, and the batter used is flaky, soft crispy, and not greasy at all. Great place if you're looking for plain fried chicken, especially if you're tired of eating super sweet or saucy kinds. The size of the tenders and drumsticks are huge too. I've tried all the different tteokbokki from here and all of them are delicious with generous portion sizes + not too spicy if you're sensitive to that. It's open late and the perfect place to get midnight munchies with friends while debriefing the day. Chill ambience with K-pop music videos playing on the big screen, and the waiters are all nice. Don't forget to ask for complementary cabbage salad!

Tried out KoKo Chicken as I was craving some solid KFC - Korean Fried Chicken. Based on the Yelp reviews, this place was legit. Ordered via phone for pickup which would be ready in approx 20 mins. Got to the resto ahead of the 20 min timeline so I paid for my order and waited for about 7 mins. I am guessing they forgot to tell me right when my food was ready because when I was handed the bag, I could feel the box of chicken was warm but not hot. Took my 12 piece soy wings with accompanying moo (pickled radish cubes) to go and tucked in right when I arrived home. Taste was good - chix not dry and the exterior had a nice coating of soy sauce. The wings weren't crispy or crunchy and I get that the fried chix is tossed in a wet sauce that can make the coating lose its crunch, but other places have been able to maintain the crisp despite being slathered in sauce. The not so crispy coating kept falling off of the wings when eating. I also felt the chicken itself under the skin lacked seasoning. Also, personal preference - I would have liked the soy flavor to have had a punch of garlic, but that's just me. Overall, a pretty good KFC experience that satisfied my craving.

I have to admit.. I'm addicted to Koko's. First time I try Koko's was at Garden Grove/ Westminster. I also tried the Buena Park location and now the 3rd restaurant. Hopefully, they will open a restaurant in San Diego soon . The restaurant is so chill and laid back. The menu is simple, but delicious!! We always order the Tteok-bokki carbonara. This dish stays in my dream!! It's so good!! It's so good that we share with friends and family and they love it too. Should've got 2 order but the kitchen close. The soy chicken is so crunchy and perfectly seasoned! It's slightly sweet and salty. The perfect combo!! Service is amazing! We order our food and drinks. And the server brought us water without us asking. He is a mind reader! Great food, drinks, and ambiance! The service is also amazing!! Please come to San Diego .

Make it interesting
