This local eatery has been patronized many times for takeout, and their flavors are on point. We usually buy the pepperoni, Hawaiian, pepperoni and sausage . We were recently disappointed when we called in a takeout order, that they did not budge when we called back and asked if one of the pepperonis could be without sauce for a picky guest eater. They just said it's already made. Mind you, prime time Friday hours with many orders coming in. Basic pepperoni order. Could've easily redirected. Our family buys at least Bi-weekly and send a family member to pick up. No goodwill to even absorb a couple bucks to make another one. This popped up on my yelp app of things to review and I can't believe some of the reviews. This place has always been a great value compared to other locations and while there are better tasting pizza places out there, this is the best value for good pizza that I have found. Still the best pizza ever! During this coronavirus time they have a table at the front door that they will put your order on for take a way, so no direct contact needed! They all had gloves and masks on when I went in yesterday and they kept 6 feet away from me at all times. They put your order on the table and step away for you to grab it. Easy ordering online on their website. I did notice it was a lot more pricey than I remember it though. First time trying these folks. Not a "destination spot", but clean and tidy inside. We had ordered for pick up and when I arrived, my order was located easily and the counter folks were very pleasant. I ordered a small pizza and my wife got spaghetti with marinara sauce. My pizza had plenty of quantity of the toppings, my wife's spaghetti came with a large portion of bread and ALL of it was delicious!! The portions were large enough for a second meal. BEWARE OF ORDERING FROM THEIR WEBSITE! Within two hours of ordering from Valentino's website, my bank emailed me a fraud warning that someone was trying to make a $100 purchase using my card from the country of Cypress. I posted a warning about this on the Nextdoor app and many others said this same thing has happened to them when ordering online. I recommend just calling into the store to order. I did call the store to let them know of this issue. With that said, Valentinos is my go-to pizza spot. I LOVE their dough and sauce. We are working in this area this week, and it was my job to feed the crew. I had no idea what to get to please 4 semi-picky people for lunch. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, black olives, and mushrooms. They told me it would be about 20 minutes. I stopped on the way for gas, and when I got there the pizza was just finishing up. The woman who helped me was fast, friendly, efficient and knew her job well. I brought it back to the job site and opened it up... and it was beautiful! Photo-perfect, really... just what you have in your mind right now, the perfectly done pizza with good proportions of quality toppings. All four people dove into this pizza and loved every bite. I've been so hesitant to write this review as I really enjoy their pizza, but the staff have completely ruined this place for me. It is ran by a bunch of rude teenagers who are extremely unprofessional and lack basic customer service skills. They constantly get orders wrong which I can usually deal with but it's the lack of accountability, no apologies, and how they all snicker and laugh together that rubs me the wrong way.
