Considering I've lived near this place for almost 18 years, and my love for pizza, it's amazing I've never been here before. I ate at another Round Table in Fullerton several years ago, but I honestly can't recall much about it. I searched my email for pizza and found a code for $6 off a large pizza. Since I've given up on delivery (it's too expensive and unreliable), I've placed an order online for pickup. I left almost immediately after I received the confirmation. In planning my route, I knew I had to enter on Katella heading west, which meant I had to swing around the east side of the 55 onto Katella. After pulling in, I realized I could have entered on Tustin just past Miguel's Jr., as the parking lots are all connected. Now I know. Walking in, this reminds me of an old-fashioned pizza place. Although it was older, it was clean and somewhat dark. They had a good-sized game room in the back. They had a salad bar, something scarce these days. I did notice they had Pepsi. Ick. Well, no one can be perfect. The pizza was ready when I got there. They asked if I wanted peppers or cheese (I got cheese), and I was on my way. Upon arriving home, the pizza looked a little burnt, but it certainly didn't taste burnt. In fact, it was pretty dang good. I also passed the microwave test the next day. I used to eat here back in the day and it was okay back then...not great but not terrible either. Ordered from here instead of the location on Chapman in Fullerton. BIG MISTAKE. First time at this location and honestly, first time visiting this pizza chain in decades. I never cared for their deep-dish style crust or sauce, but they always got me with the arcade games! We visited this location for an afternoon birthday party. The location itself is pretty small but they make great use of space. There is still an arcade, a prize counter, as well as a private room for parties. This party was a small gathering so we didn't use the private room. I docked a star for the arcade...one of the main games was accepting quarters and the lights were on, but was not working. I assume we could have tried to flag down an attendant for a refund but since it was basically one person running the arcade and the prize station and the orders, we never had a chance to tell anyone. In addition to that, one big ticket game was working but it was out of tickets. The ski ball game was fun but that also quickly ran out of tickets. In the end, we finally wrangled an attendant and showed her which games ran out of tickets. She ended up giving us some extra tickets for our troubles, which made my four-year-old very happy. I am happy to see that the pizza is completely different from what I had 20 years ago. Not so deep-dish anymore but still nice and fluffy. The sauce I remember used to be very heavy on the tomato paste but now is more of a pizza sauce found at other competing chains. I was happy with this new pizza recipe. Would I return here? Probably not, I have a closer Round Table we can check out if I ever have the urge to use all my quarters in seconds for a toy or candy that costs less than a dollar. But, my daughter loved the experience of playing the games, winning tickets, and trading them in for prizes so on that alone we will probably see Round Table again soon. Ciao! read more

Still five star and five star service. I picked up a large King Arthur and was helped by Juan. He first honored my discount (I received an email that for erased) and I watched him help a father and two son. He's so patient, polite and nice. This is a breath of fresh air when some restaurants and stores have employees who are just plain miserable. as always the King Arthur pizza is delicious and full of fresh ingredients. NEVER ORDER FOR DELIVERY!!! My family and I frequently ordered for delivery and our last time was a couple months ago when their delivery driver demanded a tip!!! I happened to be out front when our order was delivered, I took the cc slip from the driver, signed it, and handed it back to him. He said "you're not going to tip?". I said, "I got charged a $7 delivery fee". He said, "That goes to the store not to me" and he stood there until I took the receipt back and gave him a tip. Website, yelp, their damn storefront says closed at 10 pm and yet was told when I called one last time at 9:12 thinking maybe they were just busy "oh sorry we're closed". When I asked why they hadn't answered the phone the numerous times in 40 minutes I've tried calling she said we stop taking orders at 8:45. As you can see my iPhone doesn't lie and that is indeed before 8:45. Had a pretty awful day and was looking forward to good tasting pizza but instead met with only the finest $15 / hour minimum damn wage can buy. This is the third time they've pulled this bullshit before with me and I'm sick of it. I'll just settle for some dominos or literally anywhere else than with these inept dipshits. Also screw the manager while I'm at it. Called last week and ordered a carry out which they said was x large for $19.99. Gives me the total and it's over $25. Weird... ask him when I get there saying here's what tax on $20 is. This jerk added an up charge for extra cheese on a plain cheese pizza to pad his sales. When I called him out on it he sheepishly and annoyed at me adjusted the price. When I asked for extra sauce which has never been a problem he charged $0.75 EACH. In the past they've ranged from free to $0.25 each. That guy is an asshole every time I go in and whenever he's working they burn the pizza. And the garlic bread was hard and chewy. Didn't enjoy this at all. Last night I ordered at 6 pm and was told up to one hour...okay, that's fine. Hour twenty later I called and was told we'd have it in 15 min max. 25 min later I call again and was told driver left, will have it in two min. 15 min later, it delivered. We love the pizza at Round Table. My wife likes the salad bar, I can rake it or leave it, I'm here for the pizza. When ever we decide to have pizza, if we decide on Round Table, we go there. We've been wanting to come here for awhile and every time we pass by we say we would stop but never do. Well, we finally tried it out and liked it. They have a small game area where you can use tokens to play. Some of the games were out of order and didn't dispense the tickets but we just kept playing. When you are done you can trade in your tickets for prizes. My son loved that. The food was really good but my boyfriend and I couldn't handle the spice. The pepperoni and sausage were too spicy for us but it was still good. Oh and even better, they have Estrella on tap so we got a pitcher of it. If you go early, you can miss the crowd too! read more
