Well this trip was bust but we definitely didn't make the same mistake twice. So if you got surgery follow the no eat or drink policy cause they will cancel your appointment. All in all the office is nice, summer is here so it's nice and cold inside and it's very clean and nicely decorated. I would say the cancellation was careful care since we don't want to vomit all over anyone or anything so they took care to follow the protocol as given. I went in to find an oral surgeon to pull a tooth to get it ready for an implant. I went today as an emergency patient to get my impacted wisdom tooth pulled. my dentist sent me here to get extractions. the doctor refused to do them saying he can only make the extractions if there is infection. i told him i was in a lot of pain because the teeth are broken- he said he'd call in an antibiotic and i gave them the information about my pharmacy. The endocrinologist and nurse practitioners are much more thorough than another similar doctor that I went to. They have onsite lab and it's easy to make appointments. You have to remember to schedule your future appointments (yearly or whenever you need to get labs again) so you don't run out of meds. read more

I had three wisdom teeth removed about three weeks ago. When you are already a bit nervous about having the procedure take place, it definitely does not help how the front desk receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. She gave no answers and did not bother to try to figure out any solutions. She assumed I got pre care instructions by phone, when I never received a call at all. I don't know why she had an attitude when she was falling short on her end. I was put to sleep for the procedure and woke up with no sutures, which might be normal? But I definitely did not receive any aftercare instructions, no supplies such as a syringe or gauze or prescribed mouthwash that other places would normally provide to their patients for sufficient and more effective healing. My daughter's dentist suggested we use this practice for some extractions. She called them in July and the soonest she could be seen was September 7. She emailed them a copy of her insurance card on July 26. She scheduled 4 days off of work with no pay. Today, the Thursday prior to the appointment, they called her to tell her the doctor would not be there that day...and that they don't take her insurance. I was referred to this office by my general dentist. I wish I would have done my homework and researched before I went there. I had a root canal on a front tooth and the Dentist was so rough and did not care a bit about my comfort or discomfort! I am not a baby when it comes to pain, in fact I live with muscular dystrophy, so I can tolerate a lot. I suffered with face and jaw pain for days after and a huge sore in my mouth at the injection site. To add insult to injury, they repeated the exam that the dentist already did and of course the insurance did not cover it! read more

Wish I had something to say positive about my experience with the 7th Street and Bell Location. I made an appointment with them for a molar extraction explaining I would be a new patient. When I arrived I was immediately asked for my referral. I explained to them I didn't have a referral and they kept saying they wouldn't do the work without one. Finally they agreed to do it, and I provided my insurance card. The procedure went well. Upon leaving I asked for an estimate to get an implant. They said they would do one and contact me. A month went by, and I had no estimate so I called them. After being on hold for ten minutes the person came back on the phone and said they hadn't heard back from my insurance company yet. I asked them if they could follow up with them, and they said why don't I follow up. I explained to them that I didn't know who to contact or what information to give them about the costs of the implant, and that I felt it is something they should do on their end. Another month went by. Nothing. They just don't seem interested in my business at all, and really didn't from the start. I strongly suggest you use someone else. read more

It did take awhile to get an appointment but I'm glad that I waited. Both Dr Elseed and the staff were great! First, I came in for a consultation with a broken tooth that needed a root canal (this would be my second, the first was horrendous and painful and was not done at Valley Endodontics) on my second visit (day of the root canal) I was greeted with a smile and called by my name by the friendly and very capable receptionist. This immediately put me at ease. What both the staff and Dr Elseed did not know was how horrible my last root canal was and how nervous I was. Dr Elseed was extremely diligent in making sure that I was numb and therefore I never felt pain! I highly recommend Valley Endodontics both for the friendly, capable staff and the great work preformed by Dr Elseed! No, No and No. Just Terrible. Avoid, Go Somewhere Else. Was referred here for a root canal re-treatment. I tried to like them but couldn't, the most pleasant experience was the actual root canal procedure. First visit, I was asked to fill out the patient information online beforehand to save time - I did, but I arrived and was told the system was down and I would have to do it all again. Once complete they said they got logged in and had it, and shredded the pile of paperwork I had just filled out. Fine. I was taken back for x-rays, once complete the assistant drug the lead vest across my face and scratched my eye. Dr Lee numbed me up and got halfway done, it was tough work I understand, and to his credit - not painful. He did a good job but couldn't finish. Two more visits and he deemed the tooth dead, again his work was good, not painful during the procedure. After the third visit he said I would receive a refund since the job couldn't be finished. We brought this up when checking out, young lady said to wait a few days for a call. 10 days later I called and inquired, was told to wait 10 more days. On September 5 I called again and was told to wait 10 more days to determine the amount of the refund I was due. 1 day later I got a bill in the mail for $18.40. Completely unethical and terrible service to not communicate this while I was on the phone. I've given about the refund they claimed I was due, and I have paid the bill and I'll never forget the lying and completely unprofessional treatment I was given as a customer. Majority of the items listed were not needed, such as experimental healing process using blood, and conveniently not covered by my insurance. I had them remove them, which brought the cost to $180. I confirmed with my insurance that I was covered. On the day of the appointment for the procedure, they presented a different price that was 2.5x more expensive and conveniently not covered by my insurance. . When I pointed out the change in price, they said they don't know the person who created the treatment plan gave that price. The current price is due to them being a specialist. I had a terrible experience with Valley Endodontics. I had to have an emergency root canal in May, and the Chandler location was the only office that could get me in on the Friday before Memorial Day. I have dental insurance, but still had to pay nearly $1000 for a 45 minute procedure. I have had 6 root canals in my life prior to this one, and never had any pain afterwards. Well, I am STILL having pain in that tooth, and Valley Endodontics will not stand by their work, and want additional large sums of money (they gave me an estimate in the thousands) to find out and fix the problem that I already paid to have fixed.
