Fred and his guys know what they are doing, and he will work with you on any project so as to not break the bank. PLEASE READ THIS!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! (It's a long one but I promise it will save you from the nightmare I went through.) Fred...Fred...Fred Where do I even start with this guy? My Maserati started having cooling issues and the motor was compromised as a result. Since I had known Fred for quite sometime now, I called him to get some advice. We discussed pricing and a timeline, and to me, he was the better option financially. He told me that he is busy but will work on the car in a few weeks when he gets some cars out, and I understood. On 8/21/21, I towed the vehicle there, Fred checked it out and confirmed I needed to replace the motor. It took us some weeks to find a good used engine on eBay. The motor was 8k and Fred wanted an additional 2k for Labor to star. (The entire bill was about 12,500 at this point) Fair enough. I paid him 10k upfront. He Ordered it, and after 3 weeks or so, the motor was delivered to his shop. This is where the s*** show and the excuses and lies start with this guy. The motor sat at the shop for 3 months before Fred even looked in its direction. Mind you, I was calling about once every 2 weeks to get an update, and each time he had an excuse like "oh, I am super busy and Super short handed." Or "I had a fallout with my son, and it's been rough for me". Naturally I understood and left him alone for awhile to get his situation together. Come December and the car is STILL NOT worked on. I called him, angry of course and I asked him what the deal is. He said "I promise you that the car will be done in early January. I was starting to become fed up. He mentioned that the last mechanic had cut the Shifter cable and that we needed to replace that. I paid him for the part, and he ordered it. The shifter cable, sat in the shop for another 5 months! (Now Late May). No one on this freaking planet would not be upset. I call him and tell him that my sister is coming to visit me in early June, and I need My car before then, and he gave me the same bullshit "I will get it done". I sent him and email confirming our phone conversation and the date of completion. I never received a response. TYPICAL. HE NEVER CHECKS HIS EMAILS! Fast forward to June (My car was supposed to be done 3 weeks ago) and I decided to show up to the shop since this man WILL NOT CALL TO UPDATE YOU WHATSOEVER! When I showed up, he was Lounging back in his desk talking to a customer. When he saw me walk in the office, he looked like he saw a ghost. My car was sitting in between some junk cars and didn't look like it had been moved. I again, asked him very nicely and calmly, as to what is going on with my car. He replied with "OH as you can see, I am very busy". Are you f'n kidding me?! I told him that we agreed on a date since he knew my sister was coming. He proceeded to stand up and get very aggravated with me, saying how this is his shop, and he doesn't like when people come in here and complain! I could not believe what I was hearing. He then had the NERVE to say, "I got Porsches in here with 60k engines, your car didn't make me money and your car is peanuts to me". Who the F says that to a customer? Whether a repair is 500 or 60k, you as a business owner should not belittle people just because their repairs are not as expensive as others. Mind you he is the one that quoted me what he did, so I found that especially amusing. I explained to him that I am rightfully upset since the car has been sitting in his shop for ALMOST YEAR at this point! He is the one that is taking forever to fix the car, even though he had everything he needed. How TF is it my fault that he is not making any money because he is terrible at time management?! You won't believe what he says next. He has the audacity to say, "I don't care, I will put your car out on the street". I wish I was making this s*** up. I have never once in all this time, disrespected this man and he turns around and says some s*** like that to me. Now I will speak my truth about Fred. He will be nice to you at first, but God forbid you ask the slightest question about your car's status or question his work ethics, and you will be faced with the most ghetto, run down, rude, untrustworthy and unprofessional shop owner I have ever met. Don't let him lie to you about what kind of high-end cars he works on. His shop is a cluster F*** of junk cars and old Porsches that never move. His office is cluttered with papers and trash and is FILTHY, and he is the BIGGEST mess of them all. This is putting it nicely. If you are reading this Fred, go ahead and retire because the way you treat your customers is freaking Criminal! read more

Maybe someone else did have some good experience at this place but mine is so much different. I find this place because they are close to my place, and seem to be experienced with Porsche. I ordered a top to them and asked them to install. They did not install correctly and the new top scratches my car, so I came back to them. They say that's because of a problem with my car, and worked on it again. The problem is not fixed and my car is permanently damaged. I eventually found the manufacturer, who told me the top is installed so wrong that it doesn't look like the guys have any idea in installing them. Have to pay double installation charge and get my car damaged. I also tried to change a brake light at this place, I found out later the brake light was not repaired. The staff there was helpful before you pay, but are not helpful and quite rule after you told them their work was problematic. Wasted at least $1000 there. Not recommended and will never come back. read more

I just discovered another scam they pulled a year later.... When I went in, they told me I should replace my tires which were showing signs of wear (though probably not ready to be replaced). The tires they put on were not the ones specified for my VW camper, but they insisted that they were BETTER suited since they were wider tires. They said they are more standard, so they are cheaper. I foolishly went along only to find out just yesterday that the tires were not only a no-name cheapo brand, but not enough reinforcement to support the weight of my vehicle. This is a safety hazard, and causes lower gas mileage. I had notice my MPG's went down last year, and I now realize why. The tires also failed early, as you'd expect when you put cheap under-reinforced tires on a camper van. Steer clear!! read more

Came here after receiving a $1800 estimate from another shop to change my starter..Moses and Fred checked the battery and charging components and the starter. Found that the battery connection was loose. They charged my battery and i was on my way. I believe they are good professional porsche enthusiasts.. Not motivated to change parts that are still good. They took ages to fix my car, therefore, they stole a lot of money, by fixing one thing and breaking the other.
