I needed a mirror cut down and Valley Glass took care of it same day for a very reasonable cost. When I showed up I also had an oversized mirror that I needed to dispose of (tried multiple donation places) and asked if they knew of a place that would take it. They didn't, but were kind enough to break into a few smaller pieces and put it in their dumpster for me (sadly mirrors are not recyclable). Really appreciated that since I've been trying to re-home it with no success for over a month. Will definitely use them again next time I need glass service of any kind. read more

When we bought our home all of the windows were foggy, the seals had failed. We agreed with the seller that they would pay for repair, Valley Glass provided a quote to replace the glass and re-seal. Apparently they left 2 windows out of the quote even though I showed the person which windows needed to be replaced. We had to pay for the 2 remaining windows out of pocket because of their mistake, and they quoted $2 thousand!! When I spoke with the person at the office and explained it was their mess-up, she lowered it to $1,100 which she said was their "break even" and she couldn't go any lower. About 2.5 years later, the seals have failed! So the one job they came out to do, was completely worthless. The windows are foggy again and in some the piece that is supposed to create the seal is coning apart and falling into the window. I wish we had used someone else. read more

Broken window in my 1932 home. Valley Glass answered the phone at 8:30am (as soon as they opened) and had two professional gentlemen fixing the window by 10am. They were done in 1 hour and the price was very reasonable. I didn't want to pay by check so they said for me to "just call the office" and trusted me to do it. The person who answered the phone both times was friendly and helpful. I'm not sure what's up with the 1-star reviews, but my experience was superb. I can see clearly now... that our foggy dining room window has been replaced. For about five years, we'd lived with a fairly large (roughly 6'W by 4'H) window that has a seal that failed. It had condensation "fog" inside it that obscured the view from our dining room. We finally had enough cash on-hand to pursue replacment. We got three bids and they ranged from (Valley Glass was the lowest) about $400-600. Two shops, including Valley Glass, came to measure and give an estimate, one did an over-the-phone estimate. We called Valley Glass to order the window and it was ready within about 2-3 weeks thereafter. Today, the two person crew, headed up by a nice guy with 18 years of experience named Tom (he was also the estimator), came and got the old window out and new one in in less than 30 minutes, possibly as quick as 20 minutes. What impressed me was: 1) the new window fit with no issues 2) the old one came out without tracking debris all over the house - what little mess there was, they cleaned up quickly 3) they were fast 4) they were courteous and friendly 5) they arrived during the time period they said they'd be here - they said they' be here between 9 and 12 noon, and showed up promptly at 9 This has been one of those great, rare experiences where expectations were exceeded on all counts. I admit, as sick as this sounds, I sort of was wishing there were other windows to replace just so I could watch them do their work! I have done my business with Valley Glass for 10 years. I have never been treated like this when doing business. I ordered a mirror and two small pieces of glass and wanted them installed at my business. I paid a $300 deposit on 4/1/15. Today is 5/30/15 and still have never received a call from Valley Glass. I have called them, and the lady at the desk said that she would have an install guy call me. Never happened. I have now asked to be refunded the deposit money. I had to email them to do that because although they are open until 4pm today, no one will answer the phone and some of the voice-mailboxes are full. Probably other customers asking where their stuff is. read more

Used Valley Glass many times in past years and was very happy with there service and price. Something has changed. Had Valley come out for several window glass replacements. The sales person was anything but pleasant. He measured then called me and told me they no longer make glass that thickness and my only choice was to replace the entire window and the price would be several thousand dollars. This place is very unprofessional. I called to have a technician come out to my shop to replace some glass, the lady on the phone said someone would be out the next day. I never heard from anyone or saw anyone. I called back 2 days later and she said she was sorry and that someone would be out the next day. Again no call and nobody showed. A week later I finally called back when the lady answered this time and I explained to her that no one showed she told me to hold on then hung up on me. So I called back again just to have some jerk answer and tell me some BS story that they did come by and nobody was here. He said they would come out but it would be the last time because "they were busy". I told the guy I was taking my business elsewhere and with no apology or anything he gladly said "ok" and hung up on me. This place is bad, they do bad work and have horrible customer service. If I could pick zero stars for this place I would. I stopped in yesterday with my husband to get and estimate for mirrors for a dresser and the person giving us the estimate was so rude that we declined and walked right back out the door. We would have had no issue paying what they had quoted us if they had been respectful and provided any customer service at all. Instead he was combative and a complete jerk who is obviously a miserable person. I urge you not to go there. People who treat others that way should not be rewarded with business. I had them come out for a quote on a seamless glass shower door for my newly remodeled bathroom. Right when he walked in my bathroom he said there was an issue with an overhang on the marble in my shower, said he would only make a door if the marble was removed and fixed, which meant the tile would need to be replaced, and the marble would need to be removed and cut down. I could tell right away he just wanted to get out of there, he seemed very annoyed and impatient. I asked if there was anything else we could do and he said no, I'm writing the quote and measurements as if this will be fixed. A couple days later I received the quote (which was more than double what other companies quoted me later), I received a blank email with a pdf attachment. The woman sending the email couldn't even spend a couple seconds writing something to let me know what it was that I was receiving?? Well, I've had 3 other companies come out and tell me that I didn't have to do anything to my shower and they could make a seamless glass door no problem, which I've already ordered and will have installed next week. read more

I had an appointment to have someone come out today to give me a quote on a 3 window replacement. He called to tell me he was on his way as I had asked. Only problem was that when he got here to the house another window company was here (that showed up early) so he took off - without calling me. After waiting an hour and a half I called to get an ETA and he told me he had already been to my house but left (because he saw the other company there. And now he had no time for me in his schedule. When I asked him why he didn't call, he told me he did call. Nope, no message on my cell phone and no missed calls from him. I was extremely disappointed when I picked up the mirror I dropped off last week. It seems pretty basic for things to be returned in at least as good a condition as you leave them, especially when you are paying for them to be fixed. I had broken the glass in a mirror I use every day and was anxious to get it back. They called back very quickly and said it was ready, yeah! However, though the mirror was fixed (it was an oval shape, thus the custom fix-job), the frame that I had just painstakingly repainted was dinged and scratched up in 4-5 places. We're not talking a minor scratch in one little place, there were places the entire perimeter of the mirror where the paint was rubbed off. I was NOT happy to see the frame had been treated so roughly and I'm not sure how I'm going to touch up those spots without them being visible. I would never recommend this place. read more

They may offer good prices but the service aspect is non-existent. I had a group of windows that started leaking around the glass seals during the heavy winter rains. I took pictures and went to the store where I discussed the problem in person with a tech and showed him the pictures. He gave me an estimate but understandably said they would have to come out and inspect in person. An administrative type lady then checked her computer and gave me the "first available" appointment for a day over a week away saying they would be there in a particular three hour time period. I took it. On the day of the appointment, I took a half day off work and went home. After three hours and nobody showing up, I phoned. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and then told that the appointment had been canceled by "management" because they had decided that the store would no longer service "leakers" because they "were too much trouble." When I asked why I had not been informed of this she snapped that "somebody must have called you" and hung up. read more

We had a busted patio door from a break-in...our neighbor suggested that we call Valley Glass. When I first called, I was told that it would be 3 days before someone could come take a look for an estimate, but that they would call if they had a cancellation or a tech could fit us in. (The 2 other glass company's I called were a week out...) The same day, I received a call from Valley Glass telling me that one of their tech's got finished early and would it be ok to come over. The tech (Kirk) came over 20 minutes after the phone call....He was very polite and professional, got the patio door glass measured and he even helped me to clean some of the glass I had missed. I was pleasantly surprised when he was able to give me the estimate on the spot! Kirk answered all my questions without hesitation, I gave him a deposit check, he gave me a receipt and business card and about a week later I was got a call saying the glass was in and ready for install. It was Kirk who had come back out for the install...again, he was very polite, professional, he cleaned up after fixing the patio door and asked if there was anything he could do for me...I took him up on that offer and had him give me an estimate for 4 fogged-up windows I had been putting off! Those are now all taken care of and I also passed their number to my daughter, who is selling her house and has to have some glass changed out....so far, she is as happy with Valley Glass as I am!!!
