This was the second time I have been here for service and had a great experience both times. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. They do get very busy at times but the waiting room is well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of work stations, nice lighting, coffee, and comfortable seating. I don't think I have ever been to a retail place, let alone a car dealership, with a friendlier group of people. Friendly greeters, sales staff, managers, finance team, mechanics, and service writers. However, that type of community feel begins at the top. I bought 2 cars this year from Valley Honda. Yesterday, on New Year's Day, the owner-Bob was mingling with families. He engaged us in conversation on three separate occasions. He was genuinely excited to visit with my family and introduced us to his daughter who happened to be purchasing a car the same day. I purchased a brand new 2014 Accord 9 months ago and actually enjoy taking my car in for oil changes (which only need to take place every 5k-6k miles). Flat screen TV's, Macs, and Starbucks all in a clean environment definitely helps. Yesterday, when it came time to purchase a pre-owned minivan, I knew where I wanted to go. The process was just as simple as buying new. Finance terms were fantastic! Extended warranties were a great value too. TIP: Try asking about additional pricing options when it comes time to purchasing a warranty. I saved a little on the warranty cost and was able to reduce my finance terms at the same time :) On the sales side, I enjoy working with Brandon Sullivan and Randall Rosen. Well. So much for client loyalty here. A little background on what kind of loyalty I'm talking about...my wife bought her first car here new, 5 years ago. Her sister bought hers last year, my in laws bought theirs this past month, and my parents bought one almost 10 years ago. And now we were shopping for an addition. If that's not customer loyalty please help me define it better. ...My experience started out great, went to see a used car had a decent price on it and something that I thought I could negotiate a little bit. The vehicle had some miles(more than the average for the year) and a repair according to the CARFAX report( not a deal breaker) and I thought ok maybe we can work something here. Long story short they offered me 200$ off and nice hand shake from the sales manager. Well I declined. If I wanted to pay a sticker price I would shop at car max. I went in today( it's raining, corona virus is a threat just look at the stock market, slow sales Monday, sales men just standing around chit chatting) I can tell this would have been the best time to make a deal...well not for them apparently. They did a great demo on how much "they got in" on the vehicle. Consumers don't really care what you pay, what we care about is that you try to make a deal that is worthy of our time. There should be a sign on the used car site that states all prices final. What a joke. Show more effort to be a "dealer" and not another carmax office. read more

after researching for a month of what kind of car I wanted and where to get it I ended up talking to Dan Bakke on the internet and later on when he got my car transfered from another state I went and got it and Luis Cadero helped me through the process and deal. What a great experience I had at this store today. I was greeted by Sam Kim in the service department to get something minor taken care of. Sam was nice, courteous and professional. I waited for my car in this dealer's modern waiting room, which has a coffee bar and big screen tvs. When my car was ready, Sam came out and escorted me to the cashier, a smiling and courteous young lady who finalized the transaction. Back in the garage, another person opened my door and again, another great smile and greeting. This place is in stark contrast to the typical scum and arrogance that are car dealers. These people truly know what great customer service is. Another year passes and I'm back at this dealer for a few things, one of which is the wipers. A new motor is needed, and it takes a day and a half to get the car back. When driving home, it starts raining so I put the wipers on, only to find out that they aren't parking right. So I take the car back again and they adjusted the linkage and I get the car back again. This time they forget to reconnect the washer fluid hose. So, three trips to the dealer, three times having to arrange for someone to pick me up at the dealer so I can leave my car, three times having to arrange for someone to drop me off at the dealer to get my car. Knocks the original 5 star rating back to rating them "average" read more

My experience: Randall Rosen and Valley Honda were great and friendly to deal with on my first ever lease. Specifically, Reverend Randall Rosen (RRR) was friendly, awesome to work with, honest, and had excellent communication. No exaggeration...the integrity/genuine-ness from Randall was basically what put me over the top to make the lease! Randall delivered as promise on what was quoted on the phone. He was easy going, honest about the quote price and what Valley Honda could offer. Unlike other online/sales quotes he did talk about the actual sales price of the vehicle as opposed to just trying to get to a "monthly rate." A great price was quoted right away instead of starting with an inflated price a lot of other auto dealers were trying to gouge me with. He made sure to ask about loyalty discounts, military, etc. I got the price I wanted (lots of research done - check out "leasehackr" website) and Valley Honda made a sale/profit. They helped us and fixed the van but would have liked it had they mentioned that they have a $45 off savings for repairs costing up to $500. We were in a stressful situation so didn't really think to check their website for coupons etc, hence the 4 stars! read more

Brought my car in to get the ac fixed. They call me and tell me it's ready to go and when i get here, they have lost my keys and can not find them. They aren't really doing anything and i'm in a rush to leave. Been here about 30 minutes. Service is not good whatsoever here. read more

I have had great experiences with the service department since I started bringing my cars there last year. I had a discussion with the dealer's manager Don about bringing my cars there and he introduced me to Emilio and Edgar in the service department. Emilio and Edgar have been great to work with. they both work with great professionalism. It's a very good dealership, the biggest one in the Midwest so they have more honda $$ to give you a better deal. One thing for those that live out of the county, they will charge you 7% for tax and the remainder for your county will be billed to you later. I got the rust package for a special price, it seems like a good deal lifetime warranty for rust and paint protection but I guess only time will tell. Kyle W. was my salesman, he was very polite and a very good person to deal with. So far I am a happy customer. -I got remote start installed from Honda so I wouldn't void my warranty by installing an aftermarket remote start. They did a good job with the install it's been 2 years and everything works as it should. It's nice for when I want to warm up the car while its in my drive way. I just don't like that I have to be within a certain range for it to turn on. I would try to turn it on from the hospital where I work, but it wouldn't turn on until I was already outside. It was kind of useless at that point because I would get to the car in a few seconds anyways. Once you get to the car and open it, the engine shuts off and you have to turn it back on again which was also annoying. I would probably go with the Viper System next time because it provides a lot more options. read more

If you're having your car serviced remove any valuable items. My family was visiting for Thanksgiving from Indianapolis. Long story short, we had to have our vehicle towed here to be serviced before we got back on the road to Indiana. After getting our vehicle back, I opened the glovebox to get our daughter's Nintendo Switch, and it was gone. We immediately went back to the dealership and informed them of the issue. They did show concern, but also seemed to question our credibility as they went out to our car and searched through the front seat, back seat, and trunk. I understand that there are people that may manipulate and take advantage of situations. However, they continued to deflect any possibility that one of their techs stole it, and wanted to verify that it wasn't the tow truck driver whom we were with for all but maybe a few minutes while it was being towed. In the end, after we were persistent that the issue be corrected, Sam Kim, the manager did make the situation right by refunding us the retail value of the Switch. I will give them two stars, because they did perform the service in a timely manner. I'm positive that most of their techs would not do this, but one bad apple can ruin the whole bunch. The lack of positive feedback is a result of them deflecting any responsibility until we were insistent the issue be corrected. read more

Valley Honda is a large, well-kept, and clearly high-traffic dealership. This dealership is impressive in terms of the scale and speed of the service department, the comfort and quality of the "waiting facilities" (which include an Internet Cafe reminiscent of an Apple Store, and a cozy patio), the attentiveness of the staff, and the number of vehicles in the showroom and on the lot. My first visit here was for service of a problem with my 2013 CR-V. It was an admittedly unusual service/maintenance issue that I feel could have been handled better during the initial visit. However, once my concern got to the right folks who could help, Valley Honda went above-and-beyond to insure my satisfaction and to line me up to be a repeat customer. As a long-time buyer and driver of new Honda vehicles, I look forward to my next trip to Valley Honda, which I hope and expect will be a 5-star experience. read more

I recently purchased my third Honda from Valley Honda in Aurora and used Jonathan Olivares as the salesman twice (both experience were 5 stars). Due to my busy work schedule, we negotiated the price via email and had everything lined up for when I came in. They had the exact model and color I wanted pulled up front and we got the paperwork done in less than a half hour. They had the largest selection of both new and used cars and by far the lowest price out of any dealership I went to. The salesman were also very nice and not very pushy on the upsell of the additional products and services. I ended up going to 3 other dealerships and they would drag the process out and not budge on their pricing. Valley Honda's prices were so much lower and the additional services offered made my decision easy. Was treated poorly here when we were shopping a few years ago for a car- we had an appointment with a salesperson to test drive a new Accord, got there and checked in and then waited 30 minutes. They couldn't find him so we left and bought a Hyundai- best car we ever bought. And just last week they sold a car out from under me. They would NOT accept a deposit to hold the car until I got back in town from a business trip. Literally was going to give a 2000$ deposit on my Visa to hold the car 48 hours until I could get there and finalize the deal, but that is against their policy. Huh? I thought you were in the business of selling cars..... I'm sorry the salesperson Iryna lost her commission due to a policy. Guess I'll spend my CASH elsewhere. read more

We bought a new vehicle from Valley Honda last month. They were very courteous and there was no undue pressure or pushing. They had no issues ordering the car in the color that we wanted as it wasn't in stock and unlike other dealerships, they didn't try to talk us into buying another color just to close the deal. They didn't try to push us into buying accessories or vehicle protections that we didn't want, just mentioned the ones available and respected our decision. In the end the deal is what matters, but it didn't hurt that the dealership is large, airy, well furnished, lighted & maintained. Paul Elam was really great to work with. Bought a used Honda Civic there in 2016 and was not informed of a recall on the paint at the time of purchase. Once the paint began peeling, I did some research and found out about the recall on my own. Called Valley Honda and they said that the recall which I had not been informed of was now expired but they would honor it for me anyway. Took my car in and they did a great job. I was very happy. Now the paint has started peeling on my doors and when I called them about it, I discovered they did not repaint the whole car ... just the hood, roof and trunk. I'm not happy. We've been loyal Valley Honda customers for years and have referred friends there, but no more. I'm upset that I wasn't informed of the recall when I bought the car and that they are not standing behind their product now that I'm having problems with it. I'm not going to fight or argue with them though. They've shown me all I need to know. I'll just take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I have had nothing but positive experiences at this dealership! I purchased my car here a few years ago and continue to get it serviced at this location even though it means I have to drive 45 mins to get there. There is a large waiting area and a shuttle service that can take you to nearby locations to kill some time while you wait. Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. 1000 stars for my friends at Valley Honda! Five stars just do not seem to give the dealership justice. I have been involved in four separate purchase/lease transactions at Valley Honda and the experiences seem to get better and better! How many dealerships have you been to, where you just can't wait to go back? Well I cannot wait for the little wrench to light up on my dashboard so I can go visit with my "friends" once again! Either I lead a very sad existence, or the employees at Valley Honda are just THAT good! :) Let's go with the latter and leave out my lack of social time. It is a step up from my social time afforded to me when the self checkout lady at Meijer talks to me on grocery day. She is so mundane, always saying the same thing, with the same tone. Very monotonous. Monotonous..... Valley Honda is not. I have a distinct belief, that although this dealership IS in fact a dealership and is in the business of selling a product, they really are interested in making you, the consumer happy. This has always been apparent to me and has kept my family returning to do business. I feel our questions or concerns are always addressed appropriately and professionally. Our thoughts and feelings are important on a personal level and the sales staff I have been in contact with, have shown their genuine interest in providing you the best car buying experience possible. It was a unique situation but I wanted to mention it, so you know that despite unusual situations or situations that are not the norm, there was indeed a resolution that only further reiterates why I love Valley Honda! Owner - Bob Navarre - I had a chance to meet Bob Navarre while at the dealership purchasing my new CRV (shortly after the above mentioned mechanical situation with another vehicle). Mr. Navarre is genuinely appreciative of your business and truly wants you to be happy when you purchase from him. I sent my Honda Accord in for a repair due to a Airbag recall. As soon as a pick up the honda the red SRS Airbag light is on. They tell me it's a unrelated issue and it will cost $1,300 to repair/replace. Funny, because the light wasn't on when I dropped it off. But here is the awesome part! Don the GM himself met me and we both sat in a room and we worked out a deal. That's what true customer service is all about! We will be sure to tell all about Don and his team at Valley Honda!
