My aunt helped me get a new car while I was visiting home for Christmas. I live in Arizona so there were some papers to sign to make sure I wouldn't hijack a car but it all has gone super smoothly so far! I arrive Tuesday for "delivery" when we bring the title for my "old" Crv and get my new baby! Caesar has been a champ. He helped my aunt get my cousins car and she spoke highly of him and his professionalism. Will update when I pick up the new CRV Tuesday! So I picked up my car - I'm happy with it but am disappointed Honda removed the lighter port and aux port. They need to have more tech ports available. Too much money to not be completely happy. There is one usb and one lighter port. The center console is also annoying with less space than my 2014 Honda CR-V. My last one was deep and could carry stuff inconspicuously but the new one has a quarter the amount of space. Along where my feet would be, under the console, it had good storage and the new one removed that extra space. I noticed they made it so the doors have my available space but I can already tell stuff will disappear in them because it's so deep and your arm can't even reach in the angle it's set at. I'd say they got sloppy and lazy in the design of storage and tech department but hey, the new one can tell you, you need coffee........... I don't even drink coffee so that's entirely pointless. read more

While one added covers to the seat, other checked the battery and another took all my details. I was then ushered to their waiting room which is a Master Piece in itself. No bad attitudes or shady characters like you find in other dealerships, the service department is polite, to the point, and in my experience they really try to help you out as best as they can. I had a couple of extended repairs that took several weeks and they graciously offered a loaner for the entire time both times, that was incredibly appreciated. I recently went to Valley Honda to test drive a couple cars. My wife and I were VERY impressed with the team and facilities. No pressure tactics at all. Bill T. Was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us to help us narrow our choices. We told him we weren't buying a car for a couple months, and he was still very accommodating and didn't make us feel at all like we were wasting his time. The place is VERY clean and even offers Starbucks coffee, has a few seating areas, and even a computer cafe with Mac computers (and free WiFi). All of the cars were nicely cleaned off even after heavy snow (can't say the same for the Hyundai dealership next door). Our favorite part was getting the tour of the maintenance shop from Bill. He told us about what the process is like to get your car services there, and this shop was SPOTLESS (Bill even pointed out how the ceilings were pearly white, which you don't often see in a car repair shop). The shop has 40+ bays to work on cars, so I can't imagine it taking too long to get something fixed. We will absolutely choose Valley Honda, as well as Bill, when it comes time to buy in a couple months. 5 stars! read more

In November, I bought a like-new used car for myself after not having bought a car since 1989. I was enjoying my new car a great deal, and was having fun fooling people into thinking it was a "new" car. Unfortunately my joy and mirth ended just 5 days into the new year when a careless driver plowed into my car at an intersection and in seconds it was totaled. From jewel to junk just like that. This car was a hard to find model, and I lost a little on the insurance settlement since I didn't have much equity (only one car payment!!!). After much searching on the Internet, I found that Valley Honda had a "separated at birth" twin of the car I lost in the accident. Hm, well maybe it was the smarter of the twins since the new-er car has Honda's excellent satellite linked navigation system which the other car did not. I was totally impressed with my sales adviser, Paul, and I would recommend him to anyone wanting a no-nonsense deal from a sales pro who knows his product and who also cares about his customers. The dealership is as described by the other reviewers- clean, inviting and professional. The waiting room is a comfortable place to relax while your vehicle is being serviced. When I came to pick up my car, it had been washed, cleaned and Paul even took the car out to make sure it had gas in it before I drove it away. Later I discovered that as part of the preparation before the sale, the car was given a complementary oil and filter change! I hate to say it but if companies like GM and Ford showed this level of customer commitment and attention to detail, they would have no need for a taxpayer bailout. The bottom line is this: if you want to be treated like a valuable customer while shopping for your next new or used car, stop by Valley Honda. This dealership seems to be one of the very few honest and competent in the Chicago area. They were prepared, they met my low price offer and had no hidden fees. They have a very big service area with an enormous selection of waiting room, comfortable areas. Our salesman was Cesar Salinas, and I can highly recommend him. He answered all our questions, made sure our daughter understood all the car options, and had it detailed for her first ride home. We also spoke with the general manager, Don.
