This is my third time here. The first and third time were by far the best. The girls were very helpful that helped me both of those times. The second time I picked up a bulk order for my first time and asked a question about my order and she could provide no answer and shrugged her shoulders at me and that really irritated me. They have some really good balanced meals! My favorites are the buffalo chicken salad, pulled pork tacos, asada tacos and fries, the chorizo breakfast burrito is a must try and eggs Benedict are delicious!!! Staff is super friendly and helpful with any and all questions. read more

The meal plans are reasonably priced, and 95% of the time consistent and amazingly wonderful (now and then I've had a fatty piece of beef in the asada bowl) The staff is friendly, and with the new website I haven't experienced any issues while ordering. This place is a godsend for me! I am single, work 13 hour night shifts and like to eat healthy, balanced fresh meals. I did food delivery services that were great, but expensive AND I had to cook. I am so happy to have found this place. I am an educator and full-time caretaker. COVID has made it difficult, and frankly unsafe, to be out. I don't want to compromise myself or my loved one. After hearing so many great things I finally took the leap and ordered 14 meals for myself online. My husband usually does the cooking for us but he's been gone for work a lot lately and that's when I would typically turn to fast food or pizza. I figured this was a much healthier alternative. The first meal I had was the only one I've ever had an issue with. I reached out to them about it via email and the owner got back to me promptly and apologized and even offered to refund me for that meal. Needles to say, I was blown away by his customer service. Each meal I had had since then has been delicious and filling. I froze the ones I wouldn't be eating by the "eat by" date and they were still perfectly fine when I thawed them out and ate them a couple weeks later. I got a couple of meals with chicken (alfredo and lemon herb). The chicken is cheap, grey and rubbery. The sides were not that good either but the chicken killed any chance of being edible. I like the plastic containers though. I will use them to do my own meal prep. read more

Came here once to try their meals as they had been recommended by co-workers. Service was nice and offered help when I was looking at the meals. The vibe to the place is off, I wouldn't eat there but merely grab lunch and pass through. They have parking in the back that makes it convenient. I'm giving 2 stars because the worker was nice and at the time the meal filled me up, however, I ended up with food poisoning that night so I won't be going back. My advice is stay away from the chicken, at best to avoid possible issues. read more

I signed up to Yelp just to leave this review. I've been going to VMP for a few months and the staff here is friendly for the most part. Every now and then you'll walk in to that one person who makes you feel unwelcome. My biggest rant about VMP is their lack of communication. You place your order online and that's it--no text and no updates. I placed my order Thursday evening before midnight and it should have been delivered the next day according to what is stated from the business on their website, but it didn't arrive--no text, no update. I called Saturday morning and they told me it would be delivered Monday. I asked if I can just pick it up today as I was due to return to work Monday and wouldn't be home yo accept delivery. I was told to call back at 5. I called back now the woman on the phone can't find my order. I was told she'll call the manager and get back to me, but they lost my trust as a customer at this point. This isn't my first run-in with them, but this last experience made them lose my business. It's a shame because I liked this place, but there are better options out there. read more

I really wanted to like VMP, but I wasn't impressed. My ground turkey had lots of burned parts mixed in (burned black) and 2 of the chicken meals I ordered had lots of fat still attached. The point of buying these meals was to eat healthy but picking through burnt turkey and removing several pieces of fat from my chicken made it very unappetizing. I ended up throwing about 4 meals away because they just weren't tasty. :( read more

I have been coming here for a few years now. The food is pretty good, although, you do get tired of it (as with anything) after continually eating the same thing all the time. They do have quite the variety. I have tried other meal prep places- that don't have as good a quality of food as VMP- that change their menu up every so often, which is something they might consider. I do have to say, instead of ordering my meals, I prefer to go to the store and just pick the ones I want. I have had experiences with ordering where my order has been messed up (ie. Not getting the correct meals, having been shorted a couple meals, etc.). I haven't tried the delivery. In conclusion, this place is very convenient and has decent food, I would just recommend going in store and picking out what you want, as I have dealt with Matt before and like others have stated, he does not have the greatest customer service skills. Decided to go back in and order twenty meals for us to provide lunch/dinner for five days. I started the order on their website but decided I wanted to go in so I could speak with someone in person. I stopped in on Monday to pick up a few meals for the week. I have to say that all of my meals were pretty decent. My only draw back is that I felt the macros were pretty high for someone trying to lose weight, but this may have been an oversight on my part. Also, I bought the "Greek Chicken Salad" which had absolutely no chicken in it. Not even a piece. I know everyone makes mistakes and I guess I should have noticed when I bought the meal but I was only looking at the names, not paying attention to if they were made properly. Overall I think these meal preps are great for someone that is fit and active. For myself, I am just getting back into the swing of things and needed less.
