Had the best time here for my Husbands birthday lunch . The grounds are beautiful . I initially booked an olive oil tasting but later discovered that it was more of an educational thing where you have to sit in a room. With a baby and a dog , I was hoping we can just enjoy that outdoors but they weren't able to accommodate. I hope sometime in the future they can change that . Instead of the olive oil tasting , I decided to have lunch outdoors. It was such a beautiful day and a tad windy . We started with some cocktails. Pomegranate Margarita : 5/5 it was the perfect blend of tangy , slightly sweet and the salt rim balanced all the flavors nicely. Also , it was pretty strong . Charcuterie $45 : Wow the presentation for this charcuterie was beautiful . Everything on the board was yummy and was a nice snack for grazing and enjoying it with the cocktail . I really liked the sweet walnuts , olives , wagyu sausage , pickled carrots , cauliflower , & the fig jam . 5/5 French onion soup $20 : I never really think to get a french onion soup but I was convinced that this was the best thing ever .. and guess what ?! It was !! This was probably the best french onion soup i've ever had . It was super rich , savory , and slightly sweet from the carmelized onions . It also had some delicious melted gruyère cheese that was oozing with the soup . The puff pastry on top was soo good . It was nice and comforting . 5/5 Prosciutto and Brie $30 : Dare I say this was probably one of the tastiest sandwiches ever ?! I can't believe prosciutto and brie can taste this good . The combination of garlic aioli , pickled shallots , red onions with farm greens mixed in the sandwich really brought out all the flavors. The only downside is for the portion idk if it justifies the price 4.5 /5 Ordered a special Pre fixe menu that came with farm salad with Quinoa + Olive oil icecream puff pastry dessert $30 + 10 salmon add on to salad . Salmon quinoa salad : This dish was super simple but the fish was cooked to perfection . It was super moist and the quinoa was fluffy and the salad was nicely dressed . 5/5 We had a great time and the food was fantastic. I'm really happy this place was dog friendly and family friendly. It's so hard finding places that accommodate both . Service was great . Luis did a good job on making sure we were taken care of . He was always checking in on us during our meal and was even whispering when the baby was napping . A+ service . Overall this place is a hidden gem . It's a tad pricey for lunch but the quality and service makes it worth it . We will definitely be back again to try the other delicious foods !

We really didn't know what we were walking into, so she was kind enough to explain what this place was about. So they offer olive oil tasting which can be booked in advance and they also have a bistro in the back with food. We opted to go to the Bistro for some food. Luckily there was availability and we got sat immediately. The seating is outdoors and has a covered area. The view to the gardens are beautiful. For appetizer we got the breadbasket that comes with homemade olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was delicious, but I felt it was a huge portion of bread especially compared to the tiny containers of olive oil and balsamic. For entree we got the BLT sandwich which was divine. Very very flavorful and the bread was toasted to perfection. That was paired off with the homemade lemonade which was the perfect blend of tart and sweet. They also have a gift shop area if you want to take some olive oil and balsamic goodies home. Cute place to stop by.

After the visit, we beelined to Sonoma Harvest. Unbeknownst to us, the shop was closing in 10 minutes though. (Yes, they have posted hours outside but I didn't look before I went in). The associate enthusiastically welcomed us in and politely told us we are welcome but closing in 10 minutes. So I told here it was our first time and was just going to take a quick look. She and the others was closing but she multi tasked and spoke to us. As I did my self guided world wind tour of the space; she was engaging and spoke about the olive press, operations and offerings. She didn't have to speak to us, but did anyway. Definitely bookmarking to come back in the near future. They offer wine and olive oil & balsamic vinegar tastings. They have over 20 flavors of olive oil. That's a lot! Additionally they have a curated line of artisanal and local sourced tapenades, jams, jellies, honey, and gift items. I sampled a few infused olive oils, yum. The interior is beautiful. The vibe is family friendly. The current hours of operation are 12pm-4pm Thurs-Sun.

Had a family friend visiting Sacramento for the first time from Texas, and I wanted to give her something "California" and "farm-to-table" and nothing terribly perishable or hard to transport in carry-on luggage (like olive oil or honey). I immediately thought of them for their fruits and nuts! Ikeda's Davis was my second pick, but not much on their online store. It was super easy and convenient to place an online order on the Cal Yee Farms web shop, and I went with the "Deluxe Gift Basket" (Item# 3001) which had: [Dried] Apricots, Pears, Nectarines, Peaches, Prunes, Tangy Peaches-Pear Rolls, Cranberries, and Roasted and Salted Pistachios ($55+S&H). Order placed on a Wednesday, email order confirmation received. I called the next day to ask about information regarding order-specific shipping speed/times/tracking, and the lady had shipped it out Thursday for Friday arrival in Elk Grove. Awesome! It did arrive on Friday in great condition. Apologies for not having a photo of the actual basket it came in. I've not yet been to the farm in person, so I can't comment on the ambiance of the store, but I do mean to check it out in the future. You can also order by phone. Note that they're only open M-F, 8A-5P.
