After waiting for some time, one day before appointment which that office had confirmed via phone and e-mail numerous times, I got a voice mail message (evidently left the night before) cancelling my appointment. Office message said Campbell not yet accepted, certified or whatever by Blue Cross. Office suggested I call to reschedule appointment. Not happening! Also after looking at the Heinz website, it appears they do primarily plastic surgery. These may be the greatest doctors ever but since there's no way to know when and if Campbell will be certified by Blue Cross and I'm unclear as to his actual knowledge of TED, I'm looking for an actual eye doctor who deals with that topic.

Faces and eyes require a specialist because we've all seen what happens if the surgery is off even just the tiniest bit and everyone can tell you've had "work done". None of my family or friends can even tell I've had surgery except that they say my eyes look brighter. I had minimal bruising, virtually no scarring that you can see (even without make-up) and Dr Heinz and his staff were incredibly knowledgable and supportive during my visits. I never have to wait long for my appointments and Dr Lehrer is always patient and answers any questions I have without making me feel like he's rushing me out. I've also had a medical assistant help administer shots and she was the same way, very patient and happy to answer my questions.
