Truly awful. The lady was mean. Scammed me to pay extra for a tow which was shady in the first place. My apartment complex has Valley Towing as their tow service. My car is registered with the apartment. One morning, my parking sticker wasn't up... they towed my car without bothering about the license plate being registered. That's not the bad part though. They told me I needed to pay $140 in cash to pay for the car tow, then later, told me it was $161. I likely won't press charges because I didn't get them on recording saying $140, and it isn't a huge amount. I question WHY they are tax only. Another red flag is that they could not provide any copy of a fee schedule for towed cars, so could make up whatever they wanted. If law allows it, START VIDEO RECORDING AS SOON AS YOU SHOW UP. Only if law allows. The rudeness is awful, but if you find yourself stuck with them, watch yourself for the scam. read more

I don't even want to rate this place because it's so terrible. My car was towed at Royal Crest over the night. Next morning, 7 AM I'm leaving for work and it's not there. I had to call at least 4 places until I found where my car was. THEN they say they don't open until 9:30 AM. I have to work. People have to do things. I called, and the woman was so rude to me. Yelling to me on the phone. I was frustrated, so I was very upset, but she made it worse and started to raise her voice. Terrible customer service, terrible towing service. Absurd. We are appalled at how our 19 year old daughter was treated last night at VALLEY TOWING in METHUEN. I just can't believe how they are getting way with conducting unethical business practices. Long story short, we moved our daughter into Royal Crest yesterday for school. She accidentally parked in a Reserved spot after a long day of moving, she made a mistake and her car was towed around 10pm according to Other tenants. She finally realized her car was missing around 10:30pm. I googled search towing in the area and called Valley Towing and found her car. I spoke to a rude woman who proceeded to tell me YES they have the car because it was parked in a reserved spot. She told me to hold on and as it turnout my daughter was also calling as the lady return to my call to yell at me to tell us to stop calling about the same car and that would be $215 for the car and they are closing for the holiday weekend so if we can't pick it up 20 minutes we won't be able to get the car back until Tuesday.( They're open 24 hours) I called back to ask her to provide me with an itemized receipt and she rudely reply that there will be a detailed receipt with all the charges. Can someone explain to me what is $50 admin fee please???? Phone records is as follow: I called Valley Towing at 10:32pm the call lasted for 3 minutes I called again at 10:43pm after confirming that my daughter is on her way and to ask Valley towing to provide an itemized receipt Valley Towing called me at 10:50pm that if my daughter is not there in 3 minutes she will not get her car until Tuesday!!! What type of business practices is this and how is it allowed??? Thank goodness my daughter made it with a minute to spare but it's still not good enough. While my daughter only took out the amount she requested over the phone, in an effort to screw us over she stated that the cost is $218 she made a mistake when adding up the total. Provided that she's the one that made the mistake and admitting to it she would let it go but that is not the case. She was adamant about the additional $3 and stated that if my daughter is short she can't get her car back. Luckily one of her friend was with her to help her out with the $3 to get her car back. If the tactic here was to charge us a ridiculous amount after towing the car for 1-2 hours and planning to charge us more by upping the cost on the fly in hoping we didn't have enough when we did arrive to keep the car in storage in order to get more money, IT IS so wrong and the public need to be aware of this and not support them. If i could rate this company ZERO stars I would, and honestly zero stars is a STRETCH. Mary Lou who answers the phone at valley towing, is probably the worst person that I've ever had to deal with. I was dropping items off to my friend at Merrimack college and was towed from my parking spot for not having a permit which would be understandable if I was there for multiple hours or over night. I have work early in the morning and need my vehicle, not only was she was very rude, but she hung up in the middle of our phone call as I was attempting to ask her a question and have a conversation with her about the tow. She offered no helpful information and told me to contact someone else. I had my friend call when she didn't pick up my phone call and she was, again, very rude and abrupt. She refused to answer either of our questions and we were interpreted by comments such as "okay" and "alright" purposefully to shut us up, for a lack of a better term. As I have read the MULTIPLE 1 star reviews for this towing company, I highly suggest that you find a better employee to answer phone calls, especially to people paying hundreds of dollars to get their cars. As mentioned previously, she was extremely rude and unhelpful, I have dealt with her previously and had a negative experience that time as well. I hope that higher management has the balls to fire "Mary Lou" because clearly she has gotten this company several 1 star reviews which most likely would have been zero if that was the option. I can't even put into words how unbearable this woman was and can't say enough BAD things about her. It all started on 9 am 12/11/19. Valley towing came to tow my car for suspended lisence. After they take it i call them and speak to ronda. She gives me a number of $340 if i were to take the car out and have them tow it to my house the next day. I call her friday morning 12/13/19 and ask how much to get it today with my own tow. She tells me 452 and when i ask why she hangs up because "they dont discuss number over the phone" so i call again and she picks up and when she notices its me she say " i have another call and hangs up" then i called like 20 more times and all calls just ring til the voice mail comes on. She finally calls me after 10 o'clock and tells me that it's going to be a total of 470 because the car has been there since Monday. I get there around 12:30 and as soon as I get in there her demeanor and attitude was horrible she was yelling at me and telling me that the car was there since Monday and that she didn't care about the proof that I had that it was there since Wednesday. There was a point where I grab my phone to text my mom and she jumped out of her seat and gets about 6 inches away from me and looks at my screen (invading my personal space and privacy) and accuses me of trying to record and in a mean way says you can't record it's illegal thos is a private property put your phone away. I said you guys work for the city making you public and she yelled are you paying or leaving. Then she finally realized that my car was not there on Monday and change the price to $406 which is still an over charge. This place is trash!!! My car was brought here by the police department after it was used to bring an injured person t the hospital. These people tried charging us for extra days that the car wasn't even there, told us that the car was not the make and model I said it was, and on top of that kicked me out of the buikding when i disputed the extra days added on the the pricing. No wonder this place has a lawsuit against them. The workers are rude, and think they can speak to you however they want. My car broke down and when the guy finally showed up an hour later he had an attitude as if I was making him go out of his way for doing his job! When I went to pick up my car the fuse cover was broken off. When the car left my sight the windows were up, when I picked it up all the windows were down and it had down poured rained out so my car was soaked and smelled of mildew!! They charged me 265.00 for a tow that went 4.6 miles. ( yes I should have used my parents AAA but didn't expect a bill this high) I tried to dispute the bill and the owner welcomed me to keep it there for 65.00 a day. After hearing our son was in an accident we called them to find out what our next steps with the car should be with them, She was so unsympathetic and just downright rude---without even having the correct information she at first told us our car was unregistered. She was wrong and had the wrong car but never once apologized for her mistake which cost us extra calls and legwork with our insurance company at a time when we really needed less stress, not more. I am absolutely astonished by just how bad my experience was with this so-called "company." If I could give this place 0 stars, I would and even that would be too gracious. Without my knowledge, my car was towed at 2 am and when my friend called to inquire about the situation, he was confronted by an incredibly unprofessional and abrasive woman. When she began to ask him specific questions about my car, he offered to put me on the phone and she refused to talk to me. After getting irritated with us when we could not do the ONLY TIME SLOT SHE OFFERED FOR PICK UP, she finally gave us a later time. When we got to Valley Towing the next day, she charged me an additional $8 then she had said on the phone the night before and off-handly mentioned that one of my REAR TIRES WAS FLAT!! Luckily, I had a spare in my car and proceeded to pull over to the side of the parking lot to change it until "Mary Lou" told me to get out and go change my tire across the street so that their "business" wouldn't have to deal with any insurance issues. I did as she said and struggled to change my tire in a bad part of Methuen, without being offered any help by any of the employees of Valley Towing. I genuinely believe that this has been one of the worst (if not the worst) customer service experiences I have ever had and don't understand how an establishment like this is still in business. After reading the plethora of other 1 star responses, my feelings were only confirmed more. I truly hope that someone will take action, see all of these horrifying reviews, and shut down Valley Towing so that no one else ever has to experience what I and so many others have. read more

This towing company is the worst towing company in the world. It all started a few years ago when my cousin decided to fix his car there. They ended up not even fixing it Rob some of the parts and try to sell it back to us. Then my car got towed and I called in about my car in a polite manner and the lady on the phone that I was talking to started yelling at me for no apparent reason. Their customer service is the worst in the world, I think that you can find better customer service in a drive through McDonald's or even in the KKK operating line. The secretary is a complete jerk to the customers. Each time I had called she said different closing times for the two times I called. When I decided to pick up my car that was towed she tried to charge me more money aka scam me. If you don't believe me, go there yourself and see how much this woman needs to learn some common courtesy. Stay far away from this company!! They put 4 teenage kids on their flat beds all at once and demanded 100.00 per kid to take them off! The kids didn't realize they were parked in a lot that doesn't allow parking and these thieves took full advantage of them! I contacted the owner to find out why they were rude and uncooperative with young kids but I was speaking on deaf ears. They are all about taking money for doing absolutely nothing!
