Avoid Precision Honda - Unprofessional and Retaliatory…read more My husband and I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Norwalk Honda over the weekend, followed by completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from their team. My husband had been in communication with Ashley prior to our arrival, and they were supposedly expecting us. We went in specifically to test drive a Honda Pilot. Upon walking in, we were greeted a few times but never actually helped. When we asked for Ashley, she never showed up. Eventually, a manager came over and asked if we needed assistance. We told him we were there for a test drive, and he walked away, leaving us waiting yet again. After 20 minutes of being ignored and shoved aside, we decided to leave. We drove straight to Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos, and the difference was night and day. Within 5 minutes of arriving, we were sitting inside a Honda Pilot. The real issue, however, started after we left. My husband sent a follow-up text to the Norwalk Honda team letting them know he would be leaving a bad review due to the lack of service. In retaliation, someone at Norwalk Honda entered my husband's contact information into a mass inquiry system. He was then bombarded with non-stop spam calls from other dealerships. My husband has been in the automotive industry for many years, so we know exactly how the process should work and were expecting a completely different experience. We are serious buyers with a lease expiring soon, and Precesion Honda completely lost our business. So much for the "Helpful Honda People." Save yourself the headache and go straight to Cerritos instead.

I wanted to provide an update to my previous review…read more While I was extremely frustrated with the length of time it took to repair my vehicle and the out-of-pocket expenses I incurred during the process, I want to recognize Puente Hills Ford for ultimately doing the right thing. After discussing the situation further, Stephanie Hernandez and Peter Gohil took the time to review my concerns and understand that the delays were largely outside of my control. My vehicle was down for nearly a month due to diagnosis delays and a defective replacement part supplied through Ford's warranty process. As a result, I incurred rental car expenses that I did not believe should have been my responsibility. To their credit, Stephanie and Peter listened, reviewed the circumstances, and worked toward a fair resolution. Puente Hills Ford reimbursed me for the expenses that resulted from the extended repair process, which I greatly appreciate. I still believe there were communication issues during the repair, but I also believe businesses should be recognized when they step up, take ownership, and make things right. In this case, Puente Hills Ford acknowledged that the situation was not the customer's fault and worked with me to resolve it fairly. Thank you to Stephanie Hernandez and Peter Gohil for taking the time to understand the situation and for helping reach a resolution.

I told them I was a cash buyer and asked for the out-the-door price and answers to a few questions. I was repeatedly told someone would call me back with answers, but no one ever did. After nearly a full day of waiting, I had to call the dealership myself. By then, the online price had increased to $19,000. The salesperson told me the manager would honor the original $14,985 price, but ONLY if I purchased their protection package and added accessories. The result? The out-the-door price was still about $23,000, exactly what it would have been at the higher advertised price. I was also told the vehicle wasn't even available for another week because it had been sent out for a recall repair, something that was never mentioned while I was waiting for a response. As a customer, this experience was frustrating and a significant waste of time. I spent more than a day trying to obtain information that should have been readily available. Customers deserve timely communication, honest answers, and respect for their time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I ultimately chose to take my business elsewhere and cannot recommend them to others.

There was nothing comfortable, polished, or remotely premium about the experience. It was actually pretty pitiful. I understand that a dealership service department doesn't need to feel like a luxury hotel, but there should still be some level of pride in the facility and an effort to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable, especially when people may be sitting there for an extended period of time. As someone who is brand new to Chevy, this was definitely not the first impression I was hoping for. I'm already starting to wonder if this is simply what I should expect from most Chevy dealerships, but I'll be trying another location for my future service needs before making that judgment. Coming from years of owning a Mercedes-Benz Fletcher Jones and having my vehicle serviced in Newport Beach, the difference in the overall experience is worlds apart. Vehicle is now in Phoenix and after $1,270.00 in repairs, we learned the vehicle has major emission problems and will not smog or make it back to California. Now what do we do. As of this time & date, we have a vehicle with major mechanical issues that we do not legally own even after paying $3,500.00 CASH!!! The dealers is delaying, wanting to "make payments" to us. I brought my 2018 Ford Explorer in for a recall service about a month and a half ago. Before taking it in, my driver's seat was working properly and was adjusted to a higher position. When I picked up my vehicle, the seat was noticeably lower than where I had left it, would no longer raise properly, and was making a noise that had not been present before. I immediately brought it to the dealership's attention and did not even leave the Ford lot because it affected my visibility while driving. As someone who transports my children daily, this is a safety concern. During my conversation with the Service Director, Steven, he explained that they did not yet know what had happened and that an investigation would be needed. He discussed that vehicle handling during service could be one of the possibilities being reviewed. Because of that conversation, I expected a thorough investigation and a clear explanation of how the final conclusion was reached. I was later contacted to schedule another appointment. The dates offered did not work because of my work schedule, so I asked if I could bring the vehicle in on a day I had off. I was told the service department was extremely busy and that there was a good chance my vehicle would not be looked at that day, but that I was welcome to bring it in. I brought my vehicle in, and approximately two hours later I received a call stating the issue was due to wear and tear and internal binding of the seat motor. What was frustrating was how quickly a definitive conclusion seemed to be reached after I had just been told there likely would not be time for a full inspection that day because they were already booked with service appointments. I asked several questions, including whether the condition of the seat had been documented before service, whether the seat position was noted during intake, whether camera footage or vehicle handling had been reviewed, and what specific steps were taken during the investigation. I never received answers to those questions. My concern has always been simple: the seat was functioning properly before the recall service and was not functioning properly when it was returned to me. Even if the dealership believes the issue is wear and tear, I never received an explanation as to how that conclusion was reached or what investigation was performed to rule out other possibilities. Steven later informed me that Ford Corporate would be contacted and that a Ford representative would review the situation. I was told I would receive an update afterward. I followed up multiple times by email, documented my safety concerns, and even stopped by the dealership in person. During that visit, I was told Steven was not there and that no other manager was available, that they come in when they want. It has now been over a month and a half, and I still have not received a response, update, or follow-up regarding the corporate review. At this point, my biggest disappointment is the lack of communication and follow-through. If a customer is told there will be an investigation, a corporate review, and a follow-up, then there should be follow-up. I would appreciate transparency, clear communication, and answers to my questions. More importantly, I would like this issue properly addressed and resolved. I simply expected better customer service, especially with a concern that affects safe driving and the safety of my children and myself.

CHECK YOUR VEHICLE CAREFULLY AFTER EVERY SERVICE!…read more I recently had my truck serviced and specifically asked them to rotate the tires and check the tire pressure. According to the paperwork, both services were marked as completed. However, when I personally checked the truck afterward, I found that the tires had not been rotated. I know this because I work in construction and had paint on my rear-left tire, and that same tire was still in the rear-left position. I also checked the tire pressure myself and found: - 74 PSI - 59 PSI - 67 PSI - 75 PSI My truck has LT (Light Truck) tires, and the manufacturer's maximum recommended pressure is 80 PSI. The issue is not simply that the pressures were below 80 PSI--the manufacturer's recommended cold inflation pressure for the specific vehicle/tire combination should be followed, rather than assuming 80 PSI is the correct operating pressure. What concerns me is that the paperwork stated that the tire pressures had been checked, yet these were the readings I found afterward. The biggest concern is that services were documented as completed when, based on my own inspection, they appear not to have been performed. I recommend that everyone check their vehicle carefully after service. Check the tire positions, tire pressure, fluids, mileage, and any other work you specifically paid for. Don't rely solely on the paperwork. Make sure you actually received the services you paid for.
