I initially reached out after seeing a Facebook advertisement for a pre-owned Toyota RAV4. I asked whether it could be leased, and Damian explained that because it was a used vehicle, it would need to be purchased instead. We then discussed leasing a new Toyota RAV4 or a Toyota Crown Signia. I explained exactly what I was looking for: a 36-month lease, 10,000 miles per year, minimal drive-off, and a reasonable monthly payment. The quote I received was $1,040 per month with $2,000 due at signing for a Crown Signia. In my opinion, that quote was nowhere near competitive and far outside what I would consider a reasonable lease offer. I understand that not every dealership can meet my budget, but I expected a fair and transparent proposal or at least an explanation of why the numbers were so high. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling that my time was not respected. I hope Toyota Norwalk provides more competitive pricing and a better customer experience for people who are genuinely interested in doing business with them. read more

We bought our daughter a Kia 5 GT here & I wish we went somewhere else. This is the shadiest dealership that I've ever dealt with and I've been robbed by a dealer for $10,000 before. They had brand new tires on the car when we checked it out. When we picked it up the next day, we didn't realize it until our daughter got home, but they had changed all of the tires to cheap crappy tires that didn't even match. One of the tires blew up and she had to pay for a new one herself, even though we had bought the warranty for $3000 that covered the tires. They won't even honor the $3000 warranty that we purchased because they say that it's in the last owner's name and there's nothing they can do about it. They sold it to us knowing that our daughter had to drive 250 miles home with tires that weren't even designed for this car. They should be brought up on charges. You try to call them and their phone doesn't even work or someone directs you to another line that just hangs up on you. The salesman was very inappropriate with our daughter also. He came up to us and asked us if we would be interested in any cars in the Mitsubishi sex sex sex section? What an absolute weirdo... This is an absolutely horrible business and nobody there Honors any of their own words.... Do yourself a favor and stay 1000 miles away from this business! read more

My experience with Toyota of Norwalk was extremely disappointing. The same day I purchased my vehicle, it developed a serious transmission problem that eventually left it undriveable. I took it to a Nissan dealership, where it was diagnosed, and then contacted Toyota of Norwalk hoping they would help resolve the issue. Instead, I felt like I was treated with disrespect throughout the entire process. Daniel, the Used Car Sales Manager, Chris, the Service Manager, and General Manager Sam Darwich were all rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in the way they handled my concerns. Rather than showing empathy or working toward a solution, I was repeatedly told the vehicle was sold "as is." After continuing to ask for help, I was told I would have to pay to tow the vehicle back to their dealership just so they could "take a look at it." What was especially upsetting was being made to feel like I wasn't being believed. I was told my story was "all over the place," even though I was simply explaining what the Nissan dealership had told me. As a customer, I expected to be treated with respect, especially after experiencing a major mechanical problem on the very same day I purchased the car. Customer service still matters. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. I hope they improve the way they treat customers who come to them with legitimate concerns after a purchase. read more

I recently purchased a 2024 TRD 4Runner from this dealership. Unfortunately, my experience with the finance department was very disappointing. We specifically requested that our loan application be submitted through SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, but the finance manager instead submitted it to Capital One. Since then, we've made multiple attempts to contact the dealership to address the issue, but no one has returned our calls or followed up with us. To make matters worse, the vehicle was sold as Toyota Gold Certified, yet the right rear tire has been repeatedly losing air since the purchase. A certified vehicle is supposed to undergo a thorough inspection, so it's concerning that this issue either was not identified or was not addressed before the vehicle was sold. Are they clearing codes? The lack of communication and attention to customer concerns has been extremely frustrating. While the sales experience was positive, the finance process, unresolved vehicle issue, and poor customer service afterward have left a bad impression. I emailed Norwalk Toyota to look at a 2023 Camry SE. While the car was advertised at $27,634, the sales manager, Eric, insisted on a $1,995 'mandatory' Zurich Shield and Key Replacement fee. As a professional automotive mechanic and manager myself, I know that these add-ons are optional. Under the 2026 California CARS Act, dealerships are prohibited from misrepresenting 'optional' products as mandatory or charging for items that provide no benefit to the specific buyer. Since I have the shop and the equipment to program my own keys and apply my own sealants, these fees are entirely valueless to me. Furthermore, this vehicle is 'Toyota Gold Certified.' Per Toyota's own national CPO standards, the vehicle is required to include two master keys to pass the 160-point inspection. Charging nearly $2,000 for 'key insurance' on a car that is already required to have two keys is a redundant and predatory practice. When I called this out, the manager's response was that the price was 'firm' and my professional perspective as a technician was just a 'personal perspective.' I was ready to buy at the advertised price, but I will not do business with a dealership that ignores its own certification standards and state law. We also had to deal with other issues with the car. In the past my family has bought both used and new Toyotas and have had them for years, we've never had problems soon after buying. We won't be looking to buying anymore Toyotas. If you are looking to purchase or service a car I would suggest a different dealership, sales and service department are unhelpful and unprofessional. This dealership is also untrustworthy. While getting my car serviced one angry customer came looking for management. I overheard him stating that he was sold an uncertified used car after they confirmed it was certified. A manager quickly ushered him away from the lobby. During that same day I overheard a salesperson talking to another client. Honestly, I'm glad I ended up at Envision Norwalk Toyota ... which is funny because I didn't even have them on my radar. Penske Downey had way better reviews, so I figured that was the safer bet. But Envision said they had the exact car and color I wanted, so I took a chance. The beginning was a little rocky. I did feel a tiny bit of pressure toward the color they had on the lot, nothing crazy, just enough for me to clock it. But what actually kept me from turning right around was ALYSSA. She's just... comforting. The kind of person who makes a young, timid first‑time buyer feel like she has a big sister right there at the table. I could almost whisper to her what would make me take the deal or walk away, and she'd help me get that across without making me feel silly or out of place. Then the sales manager came over and the whole vibe shifted. The tone felt off, kind of dismissive, a little superior. Like my asking for a better rate was somehow an outrageous request. It definitely threw me off and made me clam up. But credit where it's due: after stepping away (and probably thinking through what deal he actually wanted to land), he came back much more collaborative. Better rate, better price... and eventually he even bought us Shakey's while we waited. Total plot twist. (I think my positive experience by the end of the night made the pizza extra delicious). In the end, they even worked their dealer connections to get the exact color and features I originally wanted from their affiliate two hours away. So, despite the ups and downs, I left with the car I'd been hoping for, at a price and rate I felt good about, with a full belly and a surprisingly positive final impression. So yeah, I'm glad I gave them a chance. It wasn't perfect the whole way through, but thanks to Alyssa (seriously, she's a gem) and the team ultimately making things right, I drove off happy. One last note: I'm keeping this at 4 stars for now because I'm still waiting on my paperwork. The finance guy told me I'd get the email copies the same day, but it's been 11 days and nothing has come through. For someone who likes to review everything for peace of mind, that's been a little stressful. Once I finally receive my documents, I'd be happy to bump this to 5 stars, because the rest of the experience really did end on a high note. read more

I called after dmv notified me the still didn't even submit paperwork by that time. The "two year"maintenance came with 1 oil change and some tire rotation. And today after spending two hours waiting for a non included separate oil change I asked for an update stating I have been here 2 hours. To be interrupted and informed it's been an hour and 45 minutes my appointment was 9:30 it is now 11:47 your service has never been a priority I will never return. read more

Then two months later we get a letter from the dmv for $500 bucks for registration. Well now I'm confused cuz you guys said it was paid? I bought a used vehicle over the Memorial Day weekend, drove it less than 200 miles before black smoke came pouring out of the exhaust. Calling the dealership the following day hoping they would stand behind the products they sell, I was basically told to "pound sand" because I had not purchased a aftermarket warranty. I realize that you are buying a "used vehicle" at your own risk, but I would hope a Branded Toyota dealership would have stood behind their product they sell. Any time a person buys a vehicle at a dealer they are supposedly paying for some peace of mind. In my case you might well have bought a vehicle on Craigslist or Offerup or Facebook because you have the same risk factors. Do your homework before purchasing a vehicle at Envision Norwalk. 1st and last terrible experience I've had at this dealership. I've been coming to this location since I was a kid. My entire family has purchased multiple vehicles at this specific location. When I say multiple, I mean everyone. Example: I came to get my car serviced in December and I noticed they were having specials. I told my mom, who already has three vehicles. She came in the next day and got an additional car. Anyways, I purchased my vehicle in 2020. I was given a certificate that states as long as I get all my maintenance at this dealership my oil changes will be free for the next 10 years or 150,000 miles. That is exactly what I've been doing for the last 5 years. Today, I went in for an oil change. Apparently there's new employees who haven't been fully trained, including the new service manager who started 6 months ago. Expecting me to pay $395 for additional service items I am not due for nor asked for. I told the service advisor with blonde hair that I was only interested in the oil change today. She asked me if I was given a price. I showed her my certificate. She first said, oh you already got two oil changes so let me check. She then spoke to the manager who read the certificate out loud and confirmed as long as I only get my maintenance at this dealer the oil changes would be free. So she then starts adding different additional services to the computer and says it's going to be $395. I was surprised. I've always been given the recommendation on what is needed or will soon be needed. I am then asked if I want to get it done that day or schedule it for a different day. That's usually what I do depending on the service needed. So I asked why was it $395? I then see that there was basic stuff that I didn't need like a tire rotation. My tires are new so I did not need that. I tried to explain to her that I didn't need to get all the extra services today. I even told her that I am always given the option to come back and complete the recommended maintenance at a later time. As long as I don't go over the mileage. I told her that I only came for an oil change. However, she expected me to get the recommended maintenance of 55,000 miles. Mind you, I had just got my car maintenance few months ago. I was still at 52,000 miles. She then shows me that if she chose the option for 50,000 miles it would be $895. Which is B*LL$HIT. I then told her there were notes from my last few visits. She could check to make sure what was required. She seemed lost so the service manager walked back over and said I had to get the maintenance service as stated on the certificate. ( mind you that's what I've been doing for the last 5 years) At no point did he check my account to see if I was below the required scheduled maintenance mileage or check the history of my vehicle. Nor did he check the notes from the last service manager. He just sided with her. She never gave me the individual price for the additional services. She just said it's recommended so you have to get it in order to get the free oil change. I told the service manager that at times I just come for the oil change. He then said "that's not how we keep the lights on". I then replied "so you are no longer honoring the certificate?" and he said "no". Changing what he had just said earlier. Basically breaking the original agreement that was given to me by the dealer and honored by the last few managers. I then asked for my car back and walked out. No point going back and forth with someone who doesn't want to keep loyal customers. Not to mention the fact that I've been getting my car serviced here for years. Even when the dealer was sold.... SMH. I'll be taking my business to the Toyota Dealer in Cerritos. Doesn't matter if I have to pay. Their customer service is always 1000% better. Just took my car today for EcBond that I have to purchase with my car. Came to their service place at 8:30 and they gave me a run around about their appointment(nonexisting). The customer service man came to ask us and said they are not taking any more. I ask if I can make an appointment so I won't be turned away and he said sure but 1st come1st serve. I ask him what is the point of making an appointment. He just not giving us any information or even wanting to help. This is definitely very DISAPPOINTING and FRUSTRATING. BAIT AND SWITCH WARNING!!! We saw a used car online with a good price. I called Norwalk Toyota and spoke to salesman Sam. I asked SPECIFICALLY if there were any add-ons and, if so, what they are. I told him I was driving from Glendale and didn't want any surprises, that I would be paying cash. He replied that there is an OPTION for paint protection that is not mandatory. He said that the out-the-door price is just the online sales price + tax and license. Based on that, we drove the 50 miles to Norwalk. My husband test drove it and said he wanted it. When finance guy Saul brought us the paperwork, it included the paint protection and said it was mandatory. I told him specifically that we were told by Sam that it was an option over the phone before we left. He basically said, "too bad, it's not an option, you have to buy it." The price was over $1300!! I would have walked out right there, but the car wasn't for my use, it was for my husband. When we were left alone while they were preparing paperwork, I looked online to see if add-ons were taxable in California. The result indicated that in the state of California, there is a law that add-ons are optional EVEN IF THE DEALER SAYS THEY'VE ALREADY BEEN INSTALLED. I marched right over to Saul and told him that the law protects consumers and I DID NOT WANT THE OPTION. He cried crocodile tears and gave some B.S. about how it's so sad (which made me angrier) that they have to charge this. On top of this rip-off, after we got out of our cars after driving for 5 minutes to get something to eat, my husband discovered that the plastic on the lane change lever was half-missing!!! So he will have to go to Hyundai and hopefully they will be able to replace the part, since the dealer covers NOTHING. Additionally, I pointed out that there are chips on the chrome in front, and since we were compelled to purchase the paint protection, they need to fix that. Saul said, oh sorry, it's not the paint, it's the chrome. Too bad. I HATE this kind of treatment and am warning everyone to BEWARE of shady business practices!! This review is for the Service/Parts Dept: The main reason why I come to Envision (Norwalk) Toyota is because they USED to have a great customer waiting area, but as of March 2025 all that has changed. Among the complimentary offerings were fresh fruit, wide variety of snacks, plenty of bottled water, cold sodas, and a lavazza coffee machine. But now that those perks are gone they are the same as any other Toyota dealer, nothing makes them stand out from the rest. I'd rather go to dealers that are closer to me like DCH Torrance, South Bay Toyota, or Manhattan Beach. They all offer the same "perks" to awaiting service department customers, literally a chair and a coffee machine. Envision Toyota is no longer special to me or worth the drive. read more

I told him I called and emailed multiple times with the internet manager named Manny, and we had agreed on. I told Arthur if they have to add it on, I will walk away. Arthur went to talk to Manny, I guess. And 20 minutes later, he came back and said it has to be 1295. I walked out right away. Bait-and-Switch Tactics I was already driving to Envision Toyota West Covina to buy a car when Envision Toyota of Norwalk called me and tried to intercept the deal. Over the phone, Norwalk promised me $41,000 out the door (tax and license included) on a 2025 Toyota RAV4 XSE. They told me to pull over while they called the GM to "beat the deal." I waited 15 minutes. They then called back claiming the West Covina store was their sister store and that the car was being transferred to Norwalk, saying I would no longer be able to buy it there. They told me, "Don't worry, we'll make it work." This immediately felt misleading and dishonest. I didn't trust it and continued to West Covina anyway -- and I'm glad I did. I was treated honestly, got an excellent deal, and will absolutely return there. Norwalk said they would call me back that night but never did. The next day they called acting like nothing happened, with no apology or accountability. If you value transparency, avoid Envision Toyota of Norwalk.
