Me and hubby found valley cuts on yelp... And let me tell u..its better then any haircuts either of us have had. Anna the owner was awesome. So professional and omg knew exactly what to do and how to cut. I showed her a pic and she cut my hair exactly like it. Plus blow dried my hair to show me how it looked, even thou she charges for that. The prices are so reasonable. I wish I would have found her sooner. Thank you so much for a excellent service. Ana is wonderful, went to her per a friends recommendation and she cut my 4 year old sons hair exactly how I wanted all sheers no quick buzz job. He has thick straight hair and no everyone is able to cut it well. She also cut my hair and took off exactly how much I wanted and kept asking if I was ok with the length. I like the blow out and slight trim of bangs. We will be retiring to her for cuts. read more

It was my first time getting a haircut at this salon today. I met with Anna (the owner) and asked for a trim. She was very sweet, talkative, and gave me exactly what I asked for. I was afraid that I was going to walk out with half my hair chopped off like I have before at other salons when I've asked for a trim, but Anna showed me what she was going to cut before she cut it. She was able to get rid of my dead ends and keep my length. I also got the tea tree treatment which left my hair feeling and smelling great! My hair feels much healthier now. I was searching for a new barber shop because the one I've been going to for the past 3 years have been terrible, and I came across this place. Not going to lie, Valley Cut lives up to its reviews! The $16 haircut is so much worth. The salon is very clean and the worker's are nice and friendly. The stylist that cut my hair was Yalda, Ana was busy with her appointments; both stylist are equally exceptional and awesome. Yalda was very accommodating, relaxing, and kept the session from being really quiet and awkward. She understood what I wanted and gave me tips on how to keep my hair looking fresh; I never asked any professional advice from my old barber because he made everything really awkward, however, I was glad that Yalda was so nice to give some without any hesitation because I've been needing advices. I recently noticed that Valley Cuts had opened up in my neighborhood so I decided to give them a try. I got my hair cut by the owner Anna, who was very nice and did an excellent job. They even charge slightly less than Supercuts for a men's haircut and include a shampoo in the price. I will definitely be visiting Valley Cuts for future haircuts. read more

If you are looking for an alternative to the franchise spots or a more affordable option to the expensive boutiques, you should at least give her a shot at earning your business. I am usually (last year and a half) very happy with Valley Cuts because of their kindness and straightforward nature, unfortunately that was not the case today. I was charged double than normal and when I called them on it, they said I received two services. When I asked why I wasn't informed that I was getting a second service while in the chair the man simply looks over at their fee board. As though I could see that 2' x 2' board from the chair. I didn't ask for a discount (that's just my style), I simply told him I was very disappointed and that I would not be returning. He took the signed receipt out of my hand and said nothing. Ana is awesome!! I have my days where I'm super picky about my haircut and will spend a lot of money but I also have days where I just want to chop it and go for cheap. Today I wanted a nice haircut but I'm also kind of broke at the moment so I decided to go to Supercuts. While waiting in the lobby I started reading reviews on Yelp and my confidence plummeted. Some people received decent haircuts while others were gifted with a prolonged bad hair month until it grew back. That led me to look elsewhere for a haircut. It was already like 7pm and most places were closed but then I found "valley cuts". They had good reviews and were open for another hour. I saw some reviews about Ana and I told my gf I hope that she cuts my hair. And my prayer was answered. By random selection I was sat in her chair and that's all she wrote. She took her time on my hair and asked a lot of questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted. The key to a good haircut is skill and communication. She has the skill (cutting hair for 20+ years) and she was excellent at communicating. I received a great haircut for an affordable price.
