I am Colombian and this place is so good and so authentic. I have come in for breakfast and lunch as well as gotten food and baked goods to go. The service is very helpful and friendly even if you don't speak Spanish or don't know what to get. There is a separate seated area to sit down and order food or a walk up bakery to grab food to go. I've done both and the seated area is pretty quiet and nice to sit, eat and talk. The food never takes too long to come out which I appreciate and it is always so good. Think home made flavors. I had lunch at a nearby AYCE restaurant and after I took a walk around this strip mall. I found so many cool small businesses. I saw this bakery and decided to step II. And see what's up. Oh dang, I was not disappointed at all. The case of baked goods looked so good. Fruit filled turnovers with guava, huge almond croissants and plain croissants. I got one of each, and though I just had lunch, I ate all three of the delicious baked goods without. The hour and washed it back with a cappuccino. The young lady helping us was very engaging truly provide caring service as we made up our minds what not to get... this trip. I didn't know before coming in that this was a Colombian bakery, but I was up for an adventure. It was also a Sunday, and not too many other places were open. I was behind one couple who took a while to order, but it gave me a chance to look at the case and the menu. They do have a sit-down area where you can order dishes to stay if you're into Colombian food. But you can order at the counter to go as well, which is what I did. I got the Nutella sweet bread and the Hawaiian croissant and enjoyed them both. This reminded me a lot of the French Asian bakery spots, where the pastries aren't super sweet. Cute bakery that specializes in Columbian pastries and treats! We stopped by to peek in and see what goodies they had. We were graciously helped by a super nice, friendly guy. He recommended several of his favorite items and answered all our questions as we've never experienced Columbian treats. He gave us samples of an oat drink, which was creamy and topped with cinnamon. Also, he let us try a refreshing lemonade with sweetened with sugar cane. He said "it's refreshing for them on a hot day." It was indeed refreshing! We picked up some goodies. Almond Croissant: Creamy almond filling inside. I think it would taste better toasted so that the Croissant was flakey. But still good. Suspiros: Meringue little cookie drop. I went to the Murray location just by chance. Walked in and smelled bread heaven. I was happy to try a croissant, a pastry, and a croissant with chocolate. The staff were very friendly and let me take my time to order. Plenty of seating and I was not able to try a drink. Music choice very nice and parking is ok. Decor cute, I believe they have a sandy location as well. But if this place is good this will be my close to home bakery to hit when I feel like having a pastry they are open until 8 pm which is good for the people who get off late. I came in after a karate seminar a couple of weeks ago. I had been meaning to since I saw that they had opened awhile back, since I get to evening classes and feel hungry beforehand. Of course our karate master owns this building too, so I love supporting those businesses as well. There's a bakery area for to go orders and ordering, and a dine in side to sit down and eat, as well as chat with friends. I tried a chicken puff pastry and the Pan Queso y Bocadillo (so I had some protein and savory, and some sweet). The staff was super nice and answered all my questions patiently, while offering suggestions. The bakery was relatively quiet with just a few tables seated for lunch. A few more people came in while I was ordering. I hope they do well and stay around, so I have a yummy place to visit when I'm hungry during karate. read more

I was hesitate to share this hidden gem, but all of the pastries are so different and tasty, that if I don't share, I'm not a yelper! None of the staff can really speak English, but they still try to explain each one of them. For a minute there, I thought I was in some foreign country. I like the wine walnut cake. It's a much better version of fruit cake. It's flavorful, moist, and not too sweet. All the puff pastries are good. Puffed chicken is just chicken, no veggies or peas, just tasty tender chicken. Meat puff is ground beef. There's a croissant shape bread, it's chewy and slightly cheesy and it's not croissant. You'll just have to go and check it out yourself, because most of the pastries do not have English names, so, I recommend you to pop in and experiencing the "foreign bakery" in person. My cute Colombian coworker brings us delicious breads from here and I can't say enough good things about the ones I've tried. The Pan de Yuca, a cheese bread is probably my favorite. It's a very soft bread and the cheese is as well. I hear it gets sold out so catch it in the morning! It's fantastic! Also had the Roscon de Bocadillo which is a soft circular bread, shaped kinda like a bagel with a hint of guava filling. It's a perfect amount of sweetness without being overkill. Also had the Roscon de Nutella which has the chocolate filling... again just a hint!! I'd have taken pictures but they're too good to take the time to do that! read more

Wow just found a gem! We ordered a beef empanada and a chicken pastry and holy cow! The empanada was one of the best I've ever had. The casing was corn based and beautifully crunchy and flavorful and the beef stuffing a great compliment just perfectly spiced. The pastry was perfectly cooked. It was super light and flaky and buttery and the chicken stuffing was slightly creamy and I have to say it was a very rich bite. The food prices are actually pretty reasonable but the drink prices I think are on the high side. The atmosphere is very plain, nothing special. But the staff is very patient and kind with non Spanish speakers and we cannot wait to go back and try more things. My service here on Sunday morning was terrible. I bought 6 pastries and asked the gal behind the counter for a box. She was super irritated and frowned the whole time while she was boxing my items. As soon as the owner/manager came by her disposition changed and smiled and said thank you. It was so fake. Part of the appeal in paying for $5 croissants is to support local businesses but I won't go back to a place that has such crappy customer service. Wow. Genuinely surprised something cosmopolitan could happen so close to where I live. I live in Sandy, Utah. Home to soccer moms and big box department stores. I mean, we have a Nothing but Bunt Cakes location but I don't mean to brag. Don't be put off by the location. Fools judge books by their covers. Hell, I wouldn't have given this place a second glance had I not known about the world's best place for tres leche. It's a Brazilian restaurant just a few doors away. Absolutely delightful. Not a fan of art least one of their other patrons but that was just unfortunate timing on my part and a shitty upbringing on the other guy's part. They have a cheesy guava roll that my wife loved. They have a chicken pastry that was perfectly cooked. The chicken was juicy and melded with the pastry perfectly.
