When you call on the phone, they try to make it sound like it is low cost - and the "office visit" is less than other vets in this area ($29 instead of $40) -- but their medication and other services are TWICE the price of other vets!! And they lure you in by refusing to quote prices for other services and/or medication on the phone. I'm sure the medication is a set price; why can't you tell me how much a very specific item is going to be when I already know the quantity and dosage? Ridiculous. Bite the bullet and pay the extra for the "office visit" somewhere else so you can end up paying less overall for the medication and shots. read more

Today is the 4 time I bring in my dog Chico who has serious issues with his right paw. Every time we bring him in it's always hundreds and hundreds of dollars and this time it's no different. The tech said it will be about 500 dollars to take X-rays of his leg and I said yes but if Chico comes back with the same issue, then the clinic leaves me no other option but to put him down since we live on a fixed income and these doctors don't care since they pull the sympathy strings. So it took about a half-hour longer before somebody came out of the clinic to take Chico inside the clinic. Then all of a sudden I get a call from the vet named Dr. Kepler and she continue talking without letting me speak. She rambled for another 5 minutes telling me that Chico's paw is healed and that it might be torn muscled and she was going to put him on Trazadone $24.50, Gabapentin $23.94 Carprovet $40.46 medication and to keep him from any exercise until several weeks. The medical progress exam which was her speech to me was $43.00 The Doc said he doesn't need Xrays and said she will give us a discount bc of living on a fixed income, so the bill was $131.88, ( wow still expensive for a discount). She continued to ramble without letting me speak. She finally allowed me to speak and said this is the 4th time bringing in Chico and we won't be back if this problem persists with Chico. I asked her if I can give Chico my own human meds sin I take the exact meds. She said no that it might have other ingredients that might harm the dog. What BS!! I super pissed that these doctors since they talk a great game and charge you up the gazzzooot. Plus after 4 visits I finally spoke to the vet who did not convince me that her clinic can heal some of her own patients. This place gets an A for effort. I came in today to get my puppy sedatives so I could give him a nail trim. Just to be clear, I have tried to nail train my guy for a good couple months as described on the ASPCA website, but the poor little guy still cries at the sight of a nail clipper! I'm not a fan of drugging my dog up, but prior to this, he hasn't had a trim in at least 3 months. His nails are as sharp as a cats' and he is starting to scratch up my furniture and pierce my leg every time he jumps on my lap or stands up on my leg asking to be carried. I'm not sure why or when he became so scared of the clippers, but up until he was about 3 months, I was cutting his nails just fine! Never cut too deep, he never jumped at the clippers, then one day, he decided to go on strike and jumped when I touched his toes! I walked in on a Thursday afternoon, since they don't take appointments for the smaller stuff, around 3:00 and finished up about 4:00. I told the lady at check-in that I wanted an exam to get him sedatives. When I got there, I was the only one in the lobby, but before I went into the room, I saw 2 other customers leaving so they must have been a little busy in the back. I didn't say that I wanted a nail trim, but the tech came out and grabbed my puppy after about 10 minutes to bring him back for a nail trim. Ok, whatever, saves me the trouble of doing it this time. I warned her he was a very nervous dog, and doesn't like humans or people touching his feet. After about 5 minutes, I was called into the exam room and the tech asked me if I could muzzle my guy so they could cut his nails. The poor guys, he had pooped and peed himself because he was so scared and I could smell it on him still! =( I told her it was ok, could we just go ahead and get some sedatives so that I could take him home to cut his nails? She said he would need an exam first....hmmmm....deja vu, I think me & someone else just discussed this less than 30 min ago. I said that was find and she said she would be right back with the dr. The tech came back a few minutes later with a thermometer to take his temperature. By then, my pup was already so nervous and scared, I had to hold him down in my lap, while she took his temp. I'm not sure what type of restraints they use in the back, but when she came at him with the thermometer, he peed again, this time all over me! After the temp was taken, she left again and the doctor came in about 10 minutes later to do the exam. The exam usually consists of her looking at the eyes, in the ears, smelling the ears, heartbeat, feeling their tummy and whatever else they need to feel. I previously had one done here for 3 of my little guys. This time, the exam consisted of her listening to his chest for 2 seconds. I know my puppy was already worked up, but come on...do something to make it look like my $32 was well spent! She said everything sounded fine then went to explain what she would be giving for him, the dosage and left to gather the pills. The tech then returned again and asked me to muzzle my poor little puppy. I did and she took him away for the nail trim. After about another 10 minutes, and lots of yelps, meows (yes, my dog meows!), screams, squeaks and barks later, she brought my traumatized little puppy out, nails trimmed! They had even cleaned him up and he smelled florally fresh. I had even told the check in about 5 minutes of puppy noises in that if they couldn't do it, that was fine, but they did not give up. Previously, I've brought my puppies here for shots and my last one for neuter and shots as well. Prices are decent, but since they don't require an exam for shots, it saves you a lot of money in the long run. The only reason they don't get the full 5 stars is that there seems to be some miscommunication a couple times between them and I. This was between 2 different staff members too, I can remember which one helped me each time. First time, was about 5 months ago, I brought my 2 puppies for their 2nd set of shots. I had brought them to another clinic for their first puppy check up and shots. That time, I specifically had told them that they have already had their first exam and shots couple weeks prior and that they need their second set. I didn't know, but they went ahead and gave the first set again! I didn't realize until after then second series at VPC (which would have been the 3rd set) they called me to let me know they would need 1 more series of shots! Second time, with the nails issue. I only went in for exam and sedatives, but they decided to cut his nails too. I can say, they sure earned their $14! When she gave my pup back, I noticed her hands had a couple fresh scratches! I called the vets office. Very friendly on the phone from the front desk staff. Needed 1 year immunizations for our fur babies, just moved here and haven't found a vet. No appointment necessary, we were in and out quickly. The cost was exactly what was quoted over the phone. The staff was amazing! ! The place is super clean because the front desk ladies sprayed and wiped everywhere....no urine odor at all. Highly recommend this clinic and I'm super picky about my fur babies. read more

So I came here before to get sedatives for my little dog so I could trim his nails. It didn't work. And his nails grew out, but we're slightly trimmed by the concrete. However his dew claws were very long and curling back toward his toe so I brought him in for a nail trim, microchip and rabies shot. I told them how difficult it was for anyone to get near his nails and that he may need to be sedated. They told me they would try first without sedation and guess what! They succeeded. It was like magic because this little guy puts up a fight like no other. They said he tired out and eventually gave up but not before giving the poor tech a scratch across the chest. I felt so bad but she was nice about it . The ladies there are very kind and helpful. I definitely will bring him here for his nails and shots from now on. Affordable and quick! read more

Let's face it- veterinary care can be pretty expensive. I've visited Value Pet Clinic when my normal vet doesn't have a last minute appointment or if it's the weekend. It's great that this place is now open 7 days a week. Before I've had a problem on a weekend and I've had to visit the emergency vet which cost well over $700. I'll be honest- the vet techs here aren't my favorite. They don't seem very professional and one girl was downright a bit rude. The vet that saw our dog though was super nice, very friendly and is someone I would trust with vet care for my dog. Their care here is affordable- an exam/office visit is only $28. Vaccinations are pretty cheap too. I haven't had any issues with the treatment and care my dogs have received here. But again, this isn't my normal vet, but I do still like it here! read more

I took my 10 year old English Bull Terrier here twice in the past month due to extreme coughing (looked like she was about to vomit after each cough) and even took video of her coughing episodes. I showed the vet the video to which she said it was a reverse sneeze. Last night she crashed, I called Value to see if they could see her but since I was low on cash (already paid 80 dollars for two visits with no results) they said they couldn't help. I took her to another vet that was willing to work out a payment arrangement and they diagnosed her with pneumonia. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Edit: I just had to put my wonderful dog down because her lungs were filled with fluid. Now, perhaps if they would've done a full workup when I initially brought her to Value we could have caught it early enough for treatment, but now she is gone read more

Had to take my cat in a few days before Christmas as she had not been feeling well for a few days. Searched on Yelp actually and discovered Value. Upon researching them a bit, I found a coupon on their site for a free exam for a new client, so I was grateful to find that and took advantage. I called ahead and found out they do not take appointments. I drove up and was able to get right in, had to wait about ten minutes to see the vet, which was nothing to complain about. The exam room is pretty basic, a couple chairs and an exam table. Not much else you need in there. The staff is careful and gentle with your pet. They seem to be knowledgeable. I was offered a few different options and they brought me quotes on each service before I paid for anything or agreed to anything. They also told me those quotes would be good for 7 days if I needed to come back to do one or two (I opted for a pain medication and antibiotics and bypassed the xrays and analysis's). Reasonable prices as well. The staff is okay; coming in as a new client I was not completely impressed. I would expect them to be welcoming, but it felt like they were treating me as if I should've known how their check in process worked. Not a bad place. Would consider coming back in a pinch again if needed. Didn't see anything wrong, would recommend for a basic exam, cannot tell you much more than that. read more

I just picked up my dogs from their usual vet and the dog that Value Pet clinic had said would need 3 molars pulled for an additional $500 does not need to have his teeth pulled. The vet checked all of them and said they were completely fine and in good shape. This stupid clinic would have pulled out perfectly fine teeth just to get more money from you. Save your dog the pain and avoid this place at all costs. My normal vet is chambers prairie in Olympia, wa. They are wonderful, not shady and charged me $200 per dog and my other chihuahua had to have 2 teeth pulled. Don't go to value pet clinic, they will charge you hundreds in additional costs if they have to do anything but clean the teeth. read more

Prior to Saturday (July 9, 2011) I took my dog Dakota to this clinic for her rabies shot... they were nice and I was pleased with their service... after that I went to Helping Hands Vet in Lynnwood (as we live in Lynnwood) and those people were SO RUDE that I didn't want to take Dakota back there again.. they didn't treat her very well either (Dakota is a Pitt/Rott mix and IS SO not the sterotype!)... I took Dakota in for issues with her allergies to Value Pet Clinic and they were great! I can see that they actually tested the areas that gave Dakota issues the other clinic didn't - I didn't see where the other vet actually did anything to Dakota. So we got ready to leave and Dakota had a bad reaction to a shot they gave her the doctors were on top of it! Dr Miller saw Dakota originally for her skin scrapping and Dr Miles saw her for her emergency care that happened in the lobby. They took her back and got fluids in her and everything... they monitored her and when I came to pick her up she seemed doped up on benadryl, but she was herself again! They even followed up on her the next morning.. which I didn't received that follow up from the other clinic we went to... I am VERY pleased with the care she got AND it wasn't extremely out of my price range... the other clinic was like 3 times what I had budgeted for.. Value Pet Clinic is a great clinic especially for Dakota's mixed breed.. they didn't show ANY discrimination towards her because of her mixed breed they loved her and gave her much love! My first visit to the vet was not at Value Pet Clinic and let's say it left a bad first impression on us, being first time pet owners. Our dog got sick and the vet we went to the first time is a bit of a drive away so we decided to pick a vet closer to our house. As soon as we walked in we were kind of surprised about how nice it looks on the inside. I mean, it's not a fancy place by any means, but it's spacious and clean! No weird smells! The veterinarian that saw our dog looked young, so did the assistants but overall they provided a great service and very attentive to our questions. They waived the vet visit fee because we were first time customers and the whole bill was a lot lower than we expected! Double score! We're taking our puppy here for his next vaccinations for sure. read more

My pets have used Value Pet for over a decade. The doctors are caring and thorough. My bulldog dog is a reluctant patient and they were sensitive to making him feel calm and comfortable. Bring some treats to keep your pet happy. During Covid the staff and check in process was friendly but a bit chaotic. The wait times were much longer than previous visits and I had to call twice. Check the prices on over the counter goods as they may be significantly higher than other places. Overall very good care for your pet with availability on weekends and reasonable prices for vet care. Some procedures may require an appointment, but for the most part you can get in the same day. Be prepared to see the cutest of breeds coming and going. read more

I have to say that this place is great when you're not financially secure. They explain cost to you before you even think to ask it. However, I have found that your chance of getting decent customer service is 50/50. There have been times where I have felt completely helpless and even neglected by staff when it came to my cat's deteriorating health. I should have looked at all the negative reviews prior to making an appointment for my dog to have a wellness check up today. I arrived on time at 1230, was told to call them when I arrived in the parking lot. They said they will call me in a few minutes. After waiting in the parking lot for 35min, I called them. I have been coming here since I got my first puppy 1 year ago. I got a reminder in the mail that it was time for Bentley's annual shots. I called and asked the receptionist if I was still able to come in 20 minutes before closing and she let me know they would be more than happy to assist us. I've taken my Kitty here a few times since she is still young and completely indoors. The first visit was to update her shots, but she had a cold and it's not recommended to vaccinate while they are sick. My second visit recently was to update shots and try and get rid of the fleas my new roommate brought with her. (ick) The staff is always very friendly, nice and sweet to my cat. Yesterday was my first visit here for my Puppy Bruno. I was recommended by a friend to go here that has been going here for years. The Vets are very sweet and treat the animals extremely well. Bruno did great even though he was nervous for his first visit. Only reason I didn't give five stars was the quoted price before was about 40... After the appointment it was around 84 dollars. Which is fine cause he needed another shot but it would be nice to know the price ahead of time. I tried to take my dog in to Value Pet Clinic Renton because of some issues. I called them this morning and was able to get a 2:30 pm appointment. I followed all of there steps when I arrived. They keep me waiting over 38+ minutes in the parking lot with no communication at all other then when I had arrive which was at 2:25pm. Today then just confirmed why I not longer take any of the animals to this location. The total lack of communication and failure to disguise my animals properly is just so frustrating and costly. I found out about value per clinic on yelp, after looking for a cheap rabies vaccine.( petsmart wouldn't cut my dogs nails with out a currant rabies vaccine, ban field said it was expired but it wasn't). The office was easy to find it, upon entering I noticed they were very busy for being so close to close on a Sunday, the lady at the desk was very polite and thorough checking in my and my dog, and explained the wait would be about an hour and a half, I didn't mind waiting because I knew they were probably packed all day. After the vet came in he have her a quick once over to see if she was healthy(I didn't want an exam) and gave her the shot. Short quick and to the point. And I also had they cut her nails, so I wouldn't have to make another trip back to petsmart. The whole visit was only 27$! 12.50 for the shot. A 2.00 disposal fee and 14 for the nail clipping. I've been coming here for years because this is very close to my house, and I like the flexibility of not scheduling appointments and being able to walk in. Unfortunately over the past few months my dogs have needed more consistent care, and their process during covid has been abysmal. Nothing is spelled out on their website or voicemail, but basically they've locked the front door, and you just have to keep calling and hoping someone answers the phone. I've called at least a dozen times over the past month and had no answer and nobody returning my call. And today, nobody has been answering the phone at all, apparently now they're only responding to texts and even then, only after a lengthy delay. After I tried to bring my dog in this morning, calling and standing in front of their business door for 45 minutes, they finally texted and said I would need to bring him back this afternoon at 3:45. I had to leave work early for this so-called appointment, and I stood on the sidewalk outside their business with my dog for more than 30 minutes past my appointment time. I've never had the misfortune to work with any company who was so disrespectful of their clients' time. They also had the audacity to claim that they're still not officially doing appointments, that 3:45 was just an estimated time for when I should drop back by and *hope* to be seen. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is that the actual care has been decent, the veterinarians are all professional and thorough, and most of the employees are nice, but it's not worth it to have so much of my time wasted due to their shoddy organizational skills. Very disappointed. Had to put my dog down two weeks ago. Called last week to see when his paw print would be ready for me. They said I would receive a sympathy card along with the paw print. Still have not received anything. I know it is not much, but would really like some sort of token of my lost pet of 15 years. The procedure was simple and staff was very caring, but all I ask is a token of my pets life, and two plus weeks seems too long. Don't bother. I waited 50 minutes with my scared cat, staff did not bother to tell me how long to wait or if they are going to see us. They did not bother calling or tell anything. I don't know what to say except that this clinic is a "mixed bag" which is why their reviews are all over the place. They use to be more of a walk in kind of place but now they have changed to be more of an only appointment place however, they have problems with their staffing so I think even if you have appointments their poster on the wall says that you can wait up to 2.5 hours! I liked them because if you just needed something fast, like a fecal test for boarding, you could pop in. Now I think they want to be more like a full vet service so you do wellness checks with them. I made the mistake of going in when they said they took walkins and had room. They didn't and I wasted the trip and the 45 minutes to go in and had to go back the next day for my poor sick doggie. The vet was great though and she helped get my dog medications without delay. They made paperwork mistakes and seem disorganized and their floors are really, really dirty (and that's for a vet office). I think they could use a good business/office manager type of person and they need to decide if they are appointment only or walk ins. They don't do many of their own labs and it's expensive wherever they send them so I don't think there is much "value" in the value pet clinic. After a lot of effort my dog should be on the mend but what a giant waste of time...! This is a good choice if you have lots of time to spare. read more

I've been going here for more than 5 years for Edgar (who is now 13) and honestly thought I had already written a review, probably giving them 3 or 4 stars for their friendly service, no appointment necessary policy, being open on weekends, and inexpensive prices. I had read the mixed reviews but because my brother liked it, decided to ignore the bad reviews and check it out for myself. However, after the experience I had recently, I cannot, in right conscience, fail to share the experience with my fellow Yelpers. First of all, I love my dog (as I'm sure all of you love your pets). My soul would be completely and utterly destroyed if anything ever happened to him, and I'm not in the least bit exaggerating. A few months ago, Edgar seemed to have lost his hearing. The usual cues that guarantee a reaction weren't doing it (e.g. when the doorbell rings, he will go crazy barking). Here and there he'd shake his head or scratch his ears. I asked my boyfriend to take him in on his day off to get it checked. The doctor looked in his ears and said that he was just getting old. When my boyfriend came back with the diagnosis, I was doubtful, as Edgar continued to scratch and shake his head sporadically. Friday before last, Edgar was vomiting all day, dry heaving significantly. He did not eat the rest of the day, understandably. When he didn't seem to look or act better still on Sunday, I took him to Value Pet Clinic Sunday afternoon to get his digestion issues examined, and his ears looked at again since I was there anyway. The same doctor that saw him previously was there and checked him out. She looked in one ear, said it was fine, started her schpeel about him being old and hearing loss happens, and when she looked in his other ear, admitted that there was some discharge and it looked like an infection. As for the digestion issues, she said that his chart revealed that he has a heart murmur and that this probably is contributing to his vomiting (which seemed weird to me, but I'm not in medicine). She said that they'll need to take chest x-rays and asked that I come back in a few hours. When the x-rays were ready, the doctor asked whether I had experience looking at x-rays. I told her that I did not, so she pulled a "normal" dog chest x-ray and walked me through where the lungs were, heart, and that the lungs would normally be black because it was air. Then she showed me Edgar's x-rays and said that his lungs were more gray, indicating that there was fluid. She also pointed out that Edgar's heart seemed "enlarged", stating that it was likely due to his heart murmur. She said she gave him an injection to reduce the fluids, and that she prescribed medicine that I should give him to continue to reduce the fluids. She said that the radiologist will call me tomorrow once they look at his x-rays to see if there was anything more to the x-rays. She said she wasn't working tomorrow, so another doctor would be calling me. The next day, another doctor (who I had a hard time respecting because she talked like a valley girl, sounding extremely young and unprofessional) said that there were no issues with Edgar's lungs or heart; rather, it was his esophagus that looked dilated. They referred me to Access Blue Pearl Vet who is an emergency vet (and by the way, they are fantastic and review is to come). I asked whether I should continue giving him the lung medicine and she said that it wouldn't help and to stop. After checking Edgar into the emergency vet, it turns out that Edgar has mega-esophagus. His heart is fine (other than the murmur) and the vet at Blue Pearl also told me that the lung medicine that was prescribed was useless and to not give it to him. A few days later, I called Value Pet Clinic to ask whether they can refund the money for the lung medicine. They told me that they could not. I explained that I felt it was unfair that I should pay for any medicine based on a misdiagnosis, especially when another doctor there the very next day told me to stop using it. I asked if she can talk to someone else there to explain the situation to see if I could get a refund. After a few minutes, she came back and said that her manager would not make an exception to this policy. I explained again how unfair it seemed, and all she said was that she was sorry but they couldn't do anything about it. In the end, it isn't about the money - it was a matter of principle and whether they would own their mistakes. They clearly did not, and as a result will lose my business. This seems like a short-sighted policy and I hope they re-analyze their position as they likely will lose other customers as a result. read more

I arrived right at 9am on Sunday which is their posted opening time. They must open earlier than that as I was #4 in line. The vet, Dr. Larry I believe, was knowledgeable but curt and hasty. His visit was less than 5 minutes. He said someone would be in with a written estimate of services required. That took almost 30 minutes and they were not that busy. I asked after 10 minutes if they had forgotten me. The young women (3-4 at the front desk) are all very friendly but they are constantly on the phone and talk very loudly so you can hear their entire conversation. They appear to be running the place and it is hectic and unorganized. 2 people complained about their bills. I was there for 2 hours. I am grateful they are open on Sundays and the care was adequate. I will not be going back however due to the unprofessional feeling to the place, the lack of care the veterinarian seemed to have and the amount of time it takes to get through their unorganized process. read more

It is with some sadness that I must downgrade my review of Value Pet Clinic, after our last experience there. Our golden retriever had a horrible skin infection that just seemed to come out of nowhere. He was lethargic, and kept chewing on the infected area, which of course made things much worse. Our regular vet was unavailable to see him that day, and so rather than wait until the next day, we took him to Value Pet Clinic. In a nutshell, they wanted to administer treatment to him that would add up to about $400. NOT a value at all, for just a skin infection. The veterinarian was very nice, but seemed inexperienced. I think they just wanted to do everything (there was a shot that was going to cost $150, among other things) to make sure they covered all the bases. We don't believe in over-treating (or over-paying!) so we opted to just pay for the consultation, and also for antibiotics, and made plans to see our regular vet the next day. It ended up costing around $80, much more reasonable. By the next day, the antibiotics had kicked in and our dog was definitely on the mend, so we took the wait and see approach, and within a week, the infection was completely clear and he was 100%. Lesson learned! Value Pet Clinic is good for some emergencies, but not others. Can I say we won't go back? No, however, we will really try to get in to see our usual vet first. read more

Let me 1st say, today will be my LAST visit to ANY Value Pet Clinics. Despite the friendliness of the Vet and their assistance, I absolutely can no longer stand the rudeness of their receptionist. I've been to this location 2 times prior to today's visit. She was the only receptionist that was more up there in age. The other 2 or 3 were quite young and VERY polite and professional. The receptionist that first helped us (I didn't care to know her name) looked to be in her 50's I'd say - with glasses. She first came out as very polite and friendly to talk to. But within 5 mins or so of her servicing my husband and I, she is actually one of the rudest, unhappiest receptionist I've ever encountered. We came in to get refills for my doxie's monthly Trifexis tablets (discon. at their clinic) and to get my doxie's annual vaccinations and MAYBE her rabies vaccine. This receptionist kept asking us if we were sure that it's time for my doxie's rabies vaccine because she couldn't find us in the system as she was typing away on her computer. I said maybe since it was almost 3 years ago but it was towards the end of 2011 but it was at VCA Covington and you know what she did/said? She goes, "See we need to know that info since we don't SHARE info," waved her right hand up and hushed me (since she apparently can't multi-task). She can ask me annoying, same repetitive questions over and over, but when I offered more info, she didn't have time for it. I was levid but kept my professional cool. After waiting 20mins or so, my husband got fed up with her rudeness and wanted to leave. So without a word, we went out to my car and I called up the VCA Covington (my Lily's original vet where she received her rabies vaccine from) to find out when my Lily last had her rabies vaccination and received a response in a snap. Just then, a very kind Vet assistant stepped outside and raved us to come in and was very patient with us. SO we thought, what the heck, because of her, let's go in and give them another chance. As we walked in, the older receptionist hollered over, "We couldn't find your name in any of our system or at the other clinics!" I apologized to her saying that it was under my husband's name and not mine and that it's okay, I've already called myself and found out the info needed. She looked exasperated and annoyingly demanded, "Well are they going to send us over your files?!" I simply flat out said, no because I didn't need it. She sighed annoyingly even more, "Well that's something we need! You need to come over and spell your husband's name so we can call back over for the files!" I'm not even mad anymore at this point, just humored at her "dilemma." I flat out told her that wasn't my problem and literally spelt out my husband's name 3 times and she still didn't get it. The other 2 young girls (receptionist) had that look "are you kidding me?" written all over their face. After I repeated myself a 4th time on how to spell my husband's last name, I just walked away. Didn't even get a thanks from her, but I didn't need it. I was glad to be rid of her. ****BTW, "his last name is Monday with a 'U' and not an 'O.'" This is an EXACT QUOTE of what I repeated to her over, and over, and over.... yet she STILL didn't understand. She goes, "So it is spelt 'Chau...'" I'm like.. uh no. M.U.N.D.A.Y. You know, like MONDAY? Get it?" She still looked confused but got it eventually.****** The vet assistance and the vet were very nice and informative as well. She treated my fur child with gentleness and care, and talked to her as she administered her vaccines which I really respected. She also offered a prescription for us to use at other Vet Clinics to try to get more refills on the Trifexis that was discontinued at their location. When we came out of the vet office and proceeded to approach the receptionist counter, the older receptionist called out as we were half way there, "Your prescription isn't ready yet!" For reals? You couldn't even wait until we finished walking up to the counter, politely greet us again and then tell us? The other two young receptionist looked uncomfortable. One of them chimed in, "It'll be out shortly." Thank God the old receptionist wasn't the one that processed our payment and bid us a kind farewell. The problem I've found with both the Kent and this Renton location is that there's always that ONE receptionist that is extremely rude and disrespectful whom ruins the experience for it's clients. First impressions matter, and here, it matters a lot. I'm trusting my furry child, my love in their care and if some of their staff can't even respect me, that place does not deserve any more of my business despite the rest of the experience being great. read more
