Well, it was finally time to change out my old windows, and so I started to shop around. My Brother-in-law had windows from this company installed a couple of years ago, and they looked OK, so I paid them a visit. Located in the city of Duarte, Envirogreen is located within an industrial park. Walked in, was greeted by the receptionist, then referred me to a service rep, her name Lee Keslert. She was pleasant and very helpful, she conducted herself, like she knew what she was doing, so I had confidents in her helping me. She took the time to explain everything to me, from sizing to styles, to the construction and materials used in the making of the windows. She took me to a section in the back, that had all the different types of windows and styles on display. She scheduled the visit from a contractor for measurements. She contacted me with pricing, and consulted with me in designing. Once you agree with everything, sign on the dotted line, and pay a deposit, they'll custom make your windows to size. They coordinate with the contractor, and schedule an installation date. So with the attentiveness, help, and expertise of Evirogreen, along with the Contractors professionalism and craftsmanship, this project was fairly simple and pain free. We waited years to finally replace our windows and sliding doors. After diligent searching and multiple estimates from different companies we decided envirogreen was the best way to go. They were not the cheapest, but they seemed the best fit for us. Quality product and outstanding warranty. Mike the sales man was phenomenal.... that's where the good ended. This was a nightmare come to life. The men who showed up to do the installation did not speak English, which is not a problem until you try explaining they had the wrong parts. The wrong parts were ordered and they smoked in my condo over my furniture!!!!!! I wish I was joking. They pretended to not understand me when I asked them to put it out. Now down to the installation the job was atrocious. Pieces of vinyl were not measured correctly and shoved into spaces, our window leaked ruining our windowsill which they did fix and our sliding glass doors have leaked multiple times, it's always great when it rains inside your house. I wish that was the end. The casing around the doors are hideous. The screen doors on the slider constantly fall off or stick. They ruined our floors and did not finish our grout around the tile. I will provide pictures as well to show the issues. Almost 5 years later and we are still having issues. They have sent people out for repairs, but we have never once had someone actually affiliated with the company come out and look at the job that has been done. They send out hired workers. I want an owner or a salesman from the company to come and see what they have done to my home. They would not want to live with this. The doors may be quality, but if not installed properly that quality goes out of the "window" and no longer matters. Please be diligent when choosing who you allow to come into your home. Learn from me - a heartbroken client. Wish 0 stars were possible. They came to fix the leak by slapping caulk and smearing it all over our wall. I could have done that! Avoid this business at all costs! Our Envirogreen windows installed in January 2017 were leaking heavily by February 2019. We requested a repair under the so-called lifetime warranty, however, they claimed it was "wear and tear" and not covered! By comparison, the original windows lasted 18 years! Envirogreen windows must be terrible quality for wear and tear to cause leaks after two years. read more

I heard about Envirogreen through a coworker's referral. Both him and his sister had used this company the year before. Since it was a good reference, I decided to check it out myself. I must have visited their office, showroom and factory at least three times before I got my windows installed. And each time I was there, Lee was always very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with all the questions I had, and she even stayed late because I had that many window related questions to ask her! I've been very skeptical about vinyl windows, and so I really wanted to make sure what I am paying to replace the old is not just going to be another piece of junk. What really sold me was after I visited the factory. I got to see the quality of the windows piece by piece, from the glass, to the sealant and spacers. I was satisfied. Also, their windows came with a limited lifetime warranty that covers any damage of the vinyl from regular heat/sun exposure. This warranty is only applicable if you have their qualified installer install the windows. So I went with that. I had mentioned to Lee that my house is really old and all the windows are in odd sizes and misaligned. She assured me that the guy she's going to send will be able to make things work and that I can figure out all the little details with him before giving them the sizes for window manufacturing. Then Alex Perrino came to the house on a weekend. He was late, but it was my mistake for not asking for his number beforehand to reconfirm the meeting time. And I also understand that it is difficult for contractors sometimes because they're always on the move and coming from another job and etc. And for me, what's more important is that they do a good job for my house at the end of the day. Alex was very patient with us from beginning to end. He didn't just came and went with the window measurements. He gave us good suggestions on what we can do to play with the existing window openings. He explained to us how he was going to try his best and make all the windows look more aligned even though none of the windows on the same wall were at the same elevation. Because the kitchen windows was much narrower than all the rest, he suggested us to go with a casement window so that we can get more air coming through the kitchen. I thought that was the best thing ever! The same kitchen casement window, however, was first installed by his guys while Alex stepped out for some material. I noticed immediately that the window was misaligned with all the rest, and that it was not closing right. Alex was very apologetic and came back on the following day to reinstall and to make it all work. No fuss or buts, very professional and fair. Now that our old and thin aluminum windows are all gone, these new windows makes our house looks brand new, and all the windows are aligned too! It's been over a month now, and so far the windows seem to insulate the house well. I work close to home, so on a recent hot day, I left the windows open in the morning. When I came home at lunch, the house was warm so I closed them all. Then when I return at 5pm that evening, the house feels cooler. I am waiting for the real hot LA summer to hit to really put these windows to the test. In conclusion, I was very satisfied with Envirogreen. Both Lee and Alex were very easy to work with. They obviously value the quality of their work and the product they sell, and they also see the importance of customer service, which I appreciate sooo much. I have been referring my friends and coworkers to them, and I will continue to do so. (Well, so long as the windows don't fail me!) I can't give a 5-star because the windows are still very new. I honestly do not see how a replacement window experience could be better than what we encountered with Envirogreen. All the other companies we obtained estimates from opened with "Just fill out this credit application..." Also, the pricing we were getting from other companies meant we would have to do the two floors of our home at different times. I knew our windows were large, but we just couldn't afford over $15 grand for windows! I saw an ad insert and called Envirogreen on the off chance they might be able to help. Joshua, our sales person, didn't start with any credit app or hard-core sales pitch. He told us about their process, explained what would happen every step of the way and continually asked if we had questions. He showed us the actual windows, explaining all about the quality, the manufacturing process, etc. He didn't ask us to make a decision in any certain time period or the quote would expire - he didn't insist we put their advertising in our yard - he just gave us our options, measured our windows, and advised us we would have our quote within 48 hours. Imagine our surprise when the ***triple*** pane window quote we received from Envirogreen was half of what the double-pane windows were from other companies! They offered options with financing as well - with Envirogreen, you can opt to go through a company that offers you a line of credit that you can use to pay for your windows. We were told that if we pay off that line of credit in 12 months, we will pay absolutely no interest. We couldn't refuse such a deal. We accepted the quote. So we scheduled the installation and prayed, because we didn't see how they could get the whole house installed in one day. But they did, with a very clean, polite and fun two-man crew. The installers had to drive all the way down to San Diego county, arriving around 10 a.m., and they still completed the job (professionally and with no mess left over for me to clean up) by 6:30 p.m. I've waited two months to write the review because I wanted to experience a rain, a Santa Ana, and a hot day before I spoke to the quality of the windows themselves in addition to the installation. We've had all three now, and we just couldn't be happier. Our eastern and western walls are nearly all window. We used to be unable to sit in direct exposure to the sun inside because we'd get sunburned. Our home literally was like an oven because of the massive windows facing east and west. Now, even with the full brunt of the sun coming through the window, I can barely discern any warmth on my skin, and virtually no heating up of any room in the house. In addition to the insulating factor of these windows, we've realized that the interior of our home is quieter. We've also noticed that the amount of dust that accumulates in our home is drastically reduced. The neighbors are nearly as glad as we are that we got these windows. The property value in the whole block went up when we did - and all at half the price that those other companies wanted to charge us. I cannot say enough nice things about this company. From the really weird trapazoid-ish window in the front room to the rain-glass window in the bathroom and the uber-quiet sliding glass door in the den, every ounce of what we got for our money is quality, and adds enormously to the value of our home. read more

My review is based on over the phone customer service in so far as, the company didn't get an opportunity to receive my business, at all. I went through scheduling an appointment (was supposed to be today at 3:45 pm). The gentleman called me earlier in the a.m. asking if he could come earlier and I said no, because I was working and 3:45 was going to have to do. He said no problem. I took off work early, rushed home so that I could be on time for the appointment. I proceed to receive a phone call at 3:43 , thinking he was going to tell me that he was outside, when in actuality, I was told, "I'm running late, I'm just leaving the office and will be there in 30 minutes." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! First of all, it would've been more than 30 minutes with traffic, let's keep it real! Second of all, I took off work early, rushed home and you have the nerve to call me 2 minutes before my scheduled appointment to say you are running late?! Huge inconvenience for me and how about we cancel and I go with someone else?! This is exactly what I did and do plan to do! What convinced us was a visit to their showroom in Duarte. It is there that we met Lee, who gave us a very informative and enjoyable tour. We then sat down and discussed all options and she offered many helpful suggestions in guiding us through our selection. She is one "on-task lady" who knows her stuff and pays attention to every detail. Not only that, she crunched the numbers and gave us a very fair estimate on the spot. We then had Alex as supervising installer; he too was very helpful and pleasant, offering many suggestions for our specific needs. The installation went according to schedule and Fabrizio detailed the trim and custom fit some moulding for an all-around great experience. By not only purchasing, but also having them do the installation there is no middle man and if you ever need servicing on the windows, there can be no dispute that the product was misinstalled and well-trained technicians would take care of any issues. We've received many compliments on the windows. The reduction in noise is great, as well as the energy saving factor. We also feel an added sense of security by having chosen their triple pane/laminated glass. We had pretty big windows to start with, so we don't feel that the new ones are too small like other customers pointed out, we also aren't noticing a darkening effect. The windows open and close very smoothly. We are particularly pleased with the patio slider, which is both stylish and functions better than we expected. I am sure the windows are fine. They look great and work smoothly. However they never made an appointment. They just showed up and had to be turned away until an appointment could be made. When they came at the appointed time they did not use drop cloths and when they left my house was filthy. They were replacing old windows that were covered with lead paint so now I have lead paint powder all over all of my furnishings and dishes and kitchen floors and counters and cabinets. I have to wash everything. I have to do tons of laundry because my child's bed is covered in paint chips. I found bits of nails everywhere as well as a ton of debris along the outside of my house that they never cleaned up. So I guess if you use this service get your own drop cloths and hire a cleaning service for the situation afterwards. read more

I received a flyer in the mail for a special and decided to call. Spoke to the sales person, Michael, who met me at my rental property for measuring the windows. One of my requirements was to allow for the installation of window a/c. Michael provided a great suggestion that saved me from having to reduce the size of the window. After receiving the quote, I visited the factory and was really impressed that the double pane windows were custom made in the US. I signed the contract and the installation was scheduled for 1 week later. The crew came as scheduled and Michael also showed up to check on the installation. They replaced all 14 windows in a day and a half. They did an excellent job sealing around the window from outside and inside. One of my tenants uses her air conditioner whenever the temperature reaches 80 degrees. I checked with her this week and she didn't turn on the a/c even though the temp reached the high eighties this week. I suspect those windows shielded much of the sunlight as advertised. :) read more

Use caution. Windows are nice but the installers are hacks. After our windows were installed the insulating foam expanded out and bent the vinyl and the installer came back and try to fix with silicone caulk instead of replacing the warped vinyl. The installers are not capable of using a caulking guns. Finished product was sloppy looking and required painting and stucco repair. read more

Found this company on my hunt for windows & overall they did a nice job. The people that I worked with, Lee and Alex were very friendly & knowledgeable. What sold me was that Lee was very open & showed me the warehouse where they made the windows. I've had a few installed, and so far, they work well. Can't say much about how they keep the heat out yet, but we'll see. Sound though, definitely can tell the difference. Some downsides though, the way the window is constructed, if it's a small window, it gets caught & it's difficult to open w/o the sliding window pane getting crooked. (But they did warn us about the problem, but I insisted on wanting windows to open). Also, most importantly, the window itself is constructed so that there's a frame outside, as well as this taped up portion/frame on the inside. Compared with my past windows, the new windows have SIGNIFICANTLY smaller panes of glass, & with this large plastic border around it now & the fact that the windows are tinted, the room gets a lot less light in. Now the room is darker and I can't read without turning on the lights in the mornings. So just make sure that the person that comes in to measure the sizes, that if you want more light, that they make the glass portion as big as they can get it. Otherwise you're stuck in the dark. read more

Had all our windows install in June. On the day of installation they calculated wrong and double on one size so one window had to wait for a week. Upon inspecting the new Windows they felt very lose side to side. As you open the window you can swing them left to right. I called to complaint it took many calls and emails for them to respond. Our sale per Mrs. Lee finally got back to me and send their ppl out to inspect. They told me all I have to do is push top left and right clip out to reduce the side to side tension. For some reason I believe them. Well summer is about to end and weather cooler we opening our windows for evening cool air. Be hold...most of our windows would not stay open. They slide down once you open them. I email Mrs. Lee took her two days to reply me. Her reply is she already contact their service team. It been few days no call from them. I email her again and been two days no reply from Mrs. Lee or call from their service team. If anybody who shopping for Windows i highly recommend that you shop other places. I should've done my research before we went with them. It been a very stressful start and hasn't end for us because our windows does not work. I recently used Envirogreen to replace windows on two apartment units. The experience from the point of initial contact to the installation was nothing short of excellent and professional. Their process consisted of them coming out for an initial consult and measurement. That was followed up by a technician taking the final measurements and cross checking the order. I found the process to be very thorough and reassuring. I was emailed a breakdown sheet so I could double check all the windows (20 units) that were on order. During this process I was in contact with Lee at Envirogreen. All I can say about Lee is that while she is a pleasure to speak with, she is strictly business. She was clear about all the details and made sure that I was as well. On installation day, I was told the installers would be there around 8:30. I showed up at nine with coffee in hand only to see almost every window in the place extracted. I was positively in shock. The extraction was very clean. I walked around the frenzy of activity and asked a couple questions about a couple of windows. They immediately answered my question, and they knew exactly what I was talking about. I quickly realized these guys knew exactly what they were doing so I got out of their way. I returned later that day only to see they had installed all the windows and were finishing up the wood trim on the inside (which is a nice touch). All the old windows were gone and there was no trace that they were even there. I was also so very impressed that they cleaned every window from the glass to the vinyl. I was able to pay the balance with a credit card which was a nice convenience, and that concluded our business. Ultimately, I was impressed by our initial contact, and I was impressed with the price and service. This company comes highly recommended! Three months ago, we bought new windows and patio door from Envirogreen to replace the old ones for the whole house. We were very satisfied with the results and the whole process. Lee Klesert, the sales consultant, was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional; her extensive experience in the business enabled her to answer our detailed questions about the products and services in a convincing manner. We were impressed by the quality of the low-emissivity, double-pane, vinyl windows that we inspected in the spacious showroom, and by the setup of the adjacent large factory that manufactured them. The lifetime warranty and the fact that the company has been around for many years and in expansion also made us feel good. For comparison, we had shopped around extensively (visiting no less than 10 companies), and Envirogreen stood out as the best choice for the above reasons and, especially, for their very competitive pricing. Signing a purchase contract with Lee was also a pleasure because she was (legally) knowledgeable and accommodative. Robert Lopez showed his expertise while taking window measurements and, with his crew, performed a skilled and efficient installation. As a professional engineer, I was pleased with the whole job, and was further pleased by the performance of the new windows during the recent heat wave - they effectively slowed down heat transfer into the house, kept the house cool, and cut hours of runtime off the air conditioner. Consequently, I highly recommend Envirogreen. I will post updates in the future as necessary, and if you don't see any adverse update, you can assume that I continue to be a satisfied customer. Absolutely the best in-person customer service! I purchased my windows a little over a year ago and the sales lady really helped me get the best windows at the best price. The installers came on time and were done in about an hour. Last week, I had a problem opening and closing one window and I contacted Envirogreen. They came out today and it was fixed quickly and the gentleman (and crew) who took care of it was very nice and genuinely thanks me for my business. He also reminded me that the windows were guaranteed for life and if I ever had problems in the future to just give them a call! I would give them four stars but the chat line people only take messages and don't actually help which can be frustrating. Also, during the original installation the plaster on one of my inside window sills was chipped off and no mention was made to if. I did not contact Envirogreen about it because in the contract it does say they are not responsible for any minor damage that may occur during installation. I understand this and it wasn't a huge deal but I would have appreciated someone telling me about it. My windows were installed over a year ago and I am still waiting for a follow-up to have the my complaints addressed. I feel misled by a company that advertises itself as "full service" from factory to installation. The problem is they do not have in-house installers, but use sub-contractors instead. The subcontractor, Benjamin, was my problem. He was late, or even non-existent on the job and a helper did most of the work. He was not professional and worked hurriedly most of the time. My job was an apartment building which required notification of tenants for the install, but I would have to notify each tenant repeatedly to say the schedule needed to be changed because the installer was not there. One tenant even had a full window exposed for an evening because he could not finish on time that day. It was a nightmare installation and I was furious. To make matters worse, when it came time for a follow-up, I asked that Benjamin not return and that the company should send someone else to do the repairs. They would not agree to this and to this day the simple follow-up work has not been completed. The very idea that I would have to make repeated contact with this company who simply did not comply or follow up on my requests, leaves much to be desired. They go out of their way to get the contract, but when it comes to completion and customer satisfaction, they are far below grade and I would be quite cautious to engage their services again. I reached a high level of frustration with this company and kept being fed the same line of someone will be in touch. I even tried appealing to the General Manager, but I was fed back to the "Customer Service" manager with dismal results. So hence, after one year, I write this rather bleak and unsatisfactory review of not so much the product but the customer service, which I believe is everything! read more

We had been looking to replace our windows for many years now, and received an ad in the mail with amazing pricing on it. So, we contacted Envirogreen for a quote. Michael called me to schedule an appointment, and I could tell on the phone that he was knowledgeable and personable, and he proved to be a pleasure to do business with. Within 2 weeks, two very pleasant and hardworking men showed up and replaced all of our (18) windows within a day and a half. I received a flyer with my newspaper during the time that we were searching for replacement windows. I had already received several bids for Windows but I decided to give them a call for an estimate. Michael Ponce called the next day and we set up an appointment. Michael arrived on time and proceeded to explain the many features of his product. I asked if he could return at a later time to speak with my wife, not a problem just let him know when was his answer. About two weeks later we scheduled another appointment. Again he arrived on time and proceeded to explain the many features of his product to us. There was no pressure by Michael to buy his product. This impressed my wife and myself. The price was where we wanted to be. We asked if we could tour the factory. An appointment was set up for my wife and myself. We arrived and found Lee to be very informative and patient as she answered all our questions. We ordered the Windows and the installation went smooth. About 2 hours into the install Michael appeared to check on the installation. This surprised me, to have the salesman show up during the install blew me away. He stayed for awhile and left but showed up three more times during the install. The Windows look great. My neighbors came by an were impressed with the Windows. The price, look and triple pane technology really took them by surprise. We have a locally window company that has installed Windows in our area and I have to say that Evergreen Windows is a much better product.
