This is our review for a transmission fluid change that went completely wrong so it's a review and…read moreit's a cautionary note we took our Infinity to this location in Oceanside in a few days after lights came on the dashboard about oil change the engine light came on and the transmission started acting weird we took it to the Nissan / Infiniti dealer and they recommend a new transmission about $9,000 Plus for this particular car I put a claim to Valvoline customer service they say that is normal when changing the transmission fluid due to the viscosity variation it is not recommended to get that done that is what the person on the phone told me and that he was very sorry about the inconvenience so I would suggest sincerely to take your car to the dealer to get any fluids specially transmission this has been a learning experience so I am just sharing information hoping that nobody else gets this issue regardless whether you have a new car and old car or as our car is a 2014 of course we're all adults in we make our own decisions and people will still decide to take vehicles to this company I am just disappointed So those coupons that I got And that other people get might not be such a great deal after all I wish everybody well

Every single other shop I called didn't even do that, clearly it must be to gouge on the cost once your car is already in their possession or else they would have nothing to hide. I've been coming to Synfast for a while now and honestly they're the best. Every time I pull in, Jovany is there and he's just super helpful and knows his stuff. He actually takes the time to explain what they're checking and answers all my questions without making me feel dumb, which I really appreciate. The service is fast, like usually 10-15 minutes, but they're not rushing through it or cutting corners. I even got my brakes replaced here and they walked me through everything step by step. My car is literally at 200,000 miles right now and running so smooth. Like that alone should tell you how good they are. They top off all the fluids every time, including windshield wiper fluid, so I literally haven't had to buy that in forever. My tires stay good and they fill up the air whenever I ask. Like respectfully, my car is just thriving now. What I love most is there's no pressure or weird upselling vibes. Just honest service at good prices. Plus after every visit I get an email with my receipt that tells me when I need to come back based on mileage, which is clutch because I'm out here driving everywhere and would 100% forget otherwise. We called Dave's, explained to them what was going on, and got the car towed in to the shop. From the moment we came in to the moment we left, we knew we were in good hands. This shop was very honest and transparent and did a really great job with the repair. We enjoyed a sunset run around town and the before our run was done, the car was ready to go! Our Sprinter van is older and we have been to a couple of different mechanics in different areas. Dave's is the gold standard. If we lived in the area, they would be our shop. This is the best experience we have had with a car mechanic and would consider ourselves lucky if we broke down near his shop again.
