Very bad experience here. Took my vehicle in for a smog test. Before taking it in no engine light was on but after testing they said i failed due to engine light being on. They let me know once i got the issue fixed to bring it back and they will retest for $10 this ended up being a lie. As once I was able to have another mechanic look into it they found no issue and were able to clear the code and had me drive it around for a few days to see if code came back. It did not so I brought it back here but they would not touch it saying the catalytic converter was not certified. If they were never going to pass it in the first place because of the cat not being certified they should ahve told me this when they first checked it out so I wouldn't have wasted time and money. Places like this need to go away as its places like this that give auto shops a bad name. read more

She has a starter go dead and drain the battery, he was trying to scare her into buying a battery by saying stuff like "well I can try and charge it but I can't guarantee it won't leave you stranded!" This is the kind of shady behavior auto repair places try with women. When I got home and looked at the cost breakdown, I saw a $30 fee for HI-MILEAGE OIL CHARGE. Only problem I have with this is... there is only 15k miles on the truck. This is its 3rd oil change EVER! I called prior to set an appointment a young man named Jose informed it is first come, first serve. When I got there I pulled up and Taylor approached me, and I then informed her I was needing an oil change. She stated to me that it would be about 15 minutes before she could get me in, she got me pulled in in 12 minutes. I then asked how long it would be and she stated 15 minutes. I typically go to the Red Carpet car wash and Lube off on Shaw. This morning I was in no mood to wait over 2 hours since at 9am they had a line out to the street. I recall they recently opened one closer to home. I pull in and everyone is super nice and accommodating. They took the time to explain to me what type of oil I needed and how my car can go over the 3K mile sticker the other guys put on. Much to my surprise my car can go over 3K it can go all the way to 6K! I felt very informed since I'm your typical girl who has no clue and just needs it done. WORST SERVICE OR LACK THEREOF EVER!!! Went in for a smog this morning. Got there around 7:50 (sign says they open at 8AM). No one showed up until 8:20 and he wasn't the guy with the keys!! Had to wait a bit longer for him. The entire shop crew was late!! Find out the smog tech is also running even later, and won't be in until 8:45. Trash can in the lobby is overflowing, and there is a line of ants from the door to it. Smog guy finally shows up, and comes out a bit later to tell me their dyno is out of calibration, and they cannot smog my car!! Suggest I go to the other location and said they would call over, so I could get right in - of course they did NOT CALL. I ask if it is the one on Sierra by the bowling alley and they guy says yes --- well it is NOT. I go there only to find out that it is mostly an office/used car lot now, and they've moved all the equipment a few blocks away on Blackstone!! Drive AGAIN, only to wait. They even took a car back that arrived after me!! The owner was at the Blackstone location (saw me at the Sierra one) and could care less. Never talked to me or offered a discount for all my troubles. George at the 2nd location was nice and said he would call the Blackstone one and have them give me a deal. Not much of one though! I went for a oil change. I'm very unhappy with the service, falsified documents. They say on the receipt they check all the fluid levels and checked some fluid was full or added by them but was completely a lie. They did none of that. Their service checklist on the receipt they gave me is worthless, as they did not do what they claimed. Also, overpriced. The only reason I didn't and won't go back is because they charged me some bogus $20 high mileage fee (which I hadn't noticed on my bill until I left) when my vehicle had less than 10,000 miles on it.
