    My car is Alive again!

    I called to request a battery replacement & Keith Johnson (manager) made the house call. He replaced my battery quickly, but my alarm wouldn't stop & couldn't use my key fob (battery was dead) to turn off. We went to auto parts store to replace key battery, but my key could not be opened. I finally found another way to stop the alarm when we got back. Keith was very accommodating & helpful. His customer service level is 5-star! Great guy! We will be return customers to his shop from now on! Thanks again Keith!

    not one drop of oil on the dipstick

    I took my Jeep Wrangler in for an oil change. I also had a transmission fluid flush as well. I was told one price plus $25 off along with a $15.00 off an oil change over $50.00. Well they changed my oil and didn't put any back in. The manager came to where I was and added 6 quarts of oil in my engine. He stated that he was going to reverse the charges for the complete service. He stated that he would call the claims department for me. I was then told I had to take my Jeep to a place of their choosing for a compression test. I will update this review as things change.

    Super quick! No wait when I was there! Staff were professional and friendly! Plus, they didn't try to up-sell me with things I didn't need!!! I'll definitely be a repeat customer! 100% satisfied!

    Rear differential leak

    They loosened and forgot to re-tighten my rear differential plug. My truck leak all the oil out of my rear differential and I had to get my truck towed back to the same location to get help. " my truck is a new 2021" now I have to get it worked on at the dealership. Out of pocket a lot of money for something that should've never happened.

    Consumer BEWARE!!! Hope this post helps someone out in the future. Son took his car here to get an oil change based on a recommendation. A senior technician saw a hose under the hood that was disconnected and reconnected it. NOTE: There was no notification made about this issue. My son PAID. However, as soon as the car was down the street the check engine light came on. A call was made to the senior technician on duty regarding the issue, however due to the shop nearing closing time and no manager being on duty, the technician stated he would come to our location and look at the car and show us what hose had been reconnected. After being advised by the technician of the hose that was reconnected, we had the car towed to the dealership to diagnose the issue. Yes! I also called the manager (Keith) at this Valvoline location the notifying him of the issue. I was quickly instructed that he knew nothing of this issue and it hadn't been reported to him by the senior technician (who was the manager on duty, but no longer works at this location), nor the other technician who worked on the car, therefore he wasn't going to honor anything, BUT I could file a claim and see where it goes? Fast forward to the dealership diagnosis....and at least 4 calls to customer care where Keith attempted each time to recreate the initial report.........the dealership found a cap that had been forced into the intake hose that was reconnected. This caused a vacuum restriction. Photos were attached and it showed how the hose clamp wasn't attached properly. The dealership bill was $425, which they worked down for the more than 10 hours spent diagnosing the codes and changing parts under my factory warranty. The resolution you ask.....Well, after the manager gave both myself and the dealership service manager the run around, after providing photos and detailed descriptions of what had been performed ....he denied the claim and wrote a version of the claim as if he evaluated the vehicle. The manager was extremely argumentative and denied all accountability for his staff, even after saying that his 19-21 year old staff members lie all the time. Customer cares "claim" system is a joke, they allow management to revise facts and while they place you on a recorded line, they don't consider anything provided as proof of wrong doing. Photos and service reports mean nothing. To date, this is still an unresolved claim. I've posted here, Nextdoor, BBB, and I'm reaching out to the news to look into Valvoline claims such as these. The manager decided at the end of the call to offer partial payment and a free oil change coupon as the consolation prize....lol. Would you take your vehicle back to this location???? My car came in with NO check engine lights on and left with one. Accountability, customer service, and workmanship has been lost. Beware!!!!!!!! Per the Valvoline comment below....I tried communicating with customer support (claims), as you've read they give the right to the manager to make the decision. The recordings of my calls say it all, I am not satisfied then nor now. Corporate should be calling me and monitoring this location closer. There are numerous reports similar to mine, and they are in small claims court on a similar issue.

I came in on a Saturday, and they were not to busy, and I was out in about 30 minutes are so. I really appreciate the gentleman, that helped, as he showed me the air filter, and said, "it still looks good". So how many times have you ever taken your car for an oil change, and they always tell you, "You should replace it". Well, every time I take my car to Jiffy Lube, they are honest. Because of COVID, this location makes you stay in your vehicle, and I am fine with that, and for someone in the healthcare industry, I really appreciate it. Thank you again.

    I'll start by saying the girl that I interacted with was kind, and seemed helpful…read more... But all three people that were working when I was there all needed more training, it was clear non of them knew what they were doing. I took by car for a oil change/inspection, after awhile she came in and expressed that they were having trouble getting the filter cap off, she said they had 3 people trying..... they ended up telling me that I had to go back to the people that screwed it on too tight and have them take it off.... Basically they already emptied my oil and now could not fix it. They said they filled it with 3quarts so I could make it straight to a mechanic. They also took an extremely long time with the inspection after telling me they could not do the oil change, way longer than any inspection I've ever had. I went to a amazing mechanic that I have gone too before and he got the cap off immediately!! Jiffy lube broke the cap trying to take it off so I had to replace that too. Bottom line, they're not training people like they should. I will never return and would never recommend anyone else to go here!
