They always do a great job communicating and correcting any issues they find. Ik some may not love the quick express experience but I do! And today was the best ever, as I had a damaged headlight not totally out but it will get u pulled over. Dominic asked if id like him to change the bulb. I was surprised bc I was under the impression I needed an entirely new headlight total($$$$). He said he would try and if not no charge. WELL HE GOT IT IN LIKE 4 Minutes. And I needed wipers they out them on and I was good to go. For under $150 fixed headlight new wipers and oil change i will 1000% continue to bring my vehicles in for maintenance. No appointment needed and staff was friendly, but price was too high. paid $99 for an oil change and fuel treatment additive and that was after a $10 off coupon. I could have gone to Goodyear and only paid $60 for the same services and gotten my tires rotated for free. They also tried to upsell me on services that aren't even near being due for my vehicle. My truck was failed due to a muffler which last I checked on NY.DMV website was not apart of inspection. It also failed due do a headlight that the inspector purposely pulled and broke my new very expensive headlights. They also never checked the parking brake which I know is apart of inspection. When I returned after fixing the other failed issues, the inspector got mad and started questioning my presence and asked why I went back to finish the inspection. read more

I brought my Audi in for an oil change in early June. It was disastrous. The oil pan was not replaced properly. Fasteners were not replaced, and within 10 miles the cover was dragging. Other plugs were not replaced, and the damage was substantial to the underbody. I brought my Audi in to my mechanic, who found the drain plug stripped and lodged 1/2 way into pan, unable to go in or come back out. The entire pan, covers, fasteners, needed to be replaced. Other collateral damage had occurred as well, including dozens of parts which needed to be replaced. The repair bill was over $1,198. Of course I called Valvoline on Grant Ave in Auburn, and spoke with some (name not used), who at first said he was sure it would all be taken care of. He sounded genuinely embarrassed for the ineptness and incompetence which resulted in the damage to my car. He said he would contact my mechanic, which he never did. After 1 week of no response, I called Valvoline again. This time the same person was a bit more measured...didn't assure me that it would be covered. He said he would have to speak with his Regional Manager (good God!). He still hadn't talked to my mechanic. In the end, after much prodding, Valvoline offered to cover about $480 of the $1,198 in repairs. They also said they would throw in a free oil change, which I find incredibly laughable, as well as insulting. The end result is that I have learned a $700+ lesson, which I would share with anyone who will listen: NEVER GO HERE. As much as the location/convenience of a "quick oil change" is appealing, it is ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE RISK of putting the inner workings of your car in the hands of people who CLEARLY do not know what they are doing. An expensive lesson, but one that I feel obliged to share with others. read more

I was told it would be a 20 minute wait, however I ended up waiting over an hour to get an oil change. I kept being told "5 more minutes" for about 40 minutes. I understand things don't always go according to plan, but this kind of a wait seemed excessive considering there was only one car in front of me. However, I was blocked in the second line, with cars next to and behind me, so I did not have an option to leave. If you need a quick oil change, I recommend going anywhere but here. This place used to be good for a quick oil change. My last few experiences were not great, and the last time I went will be my last. The workers were rushing around because it was about 45 minutes until close. My tire pressure was fine, but the guy messed with them anyway and now every morning I wake up to a low pressure tire which I will have to replace. When he went to take out my air filter, he dropped something off his drill into my engine. I asked if he got it out, he said no but he saw it go all the way through. The next day my check engine light was on for the first time ever. The whole time he was nearly frantic, and saying things to me like "you know how it is when you have an hour left at work and just want to be home". This is not what you want to hear from a guy working on your car, and making mistakes right in front of you. I will never be back, and will tell friends and family to avoid this establishment. read more
