Brian just put a water pump in my older Escalade with over 200,000 miles on it. He showed me other problems that need attention promptly & almost certainly saved me from breaking down roadside. There's no substitute for experience & professionalism and these guys have both. You won't find a better repair shop locally. Take a look at the vehicles awaiting repairs - there's usually a state police vehicle or two. Not just anyone is trusted enough to work on those vehicles. Went in for 4 new tires mounted balanced and an alignment. Sunday may 17th I got 4 new tires but they couldn't align the truck ram1500 . So they sent me off with brand new tires and no alignment wearing the new $1200 set of tires. But None of that is bad compared to the scratches I noticed between the driver and driver rear door. After leaving Mavis. I went back Monday may 18th to let them know they scratched my truck pretty extensively and the not so friendly manager that wasn't even the one who was present when the truck was being worked on may 17th Sunday said "that's not from us look at all the other scratches around the truck" even though I had multiple people who had seen the truck previously to it going to Mavis confirm that they were not there. The manger told me that he's "not trying to be a jerk but I'm just speaking in reality" well in reality your advanced auto level "mechanics" scratched my truck past the clear coat... What I got instead was one of the rudest, most unprofessional interactions I've ever had at a business. An employee, short, overweight, with tattooed arms and a ridiculous "viking" hairstyle, looked at my tire and said "I SeE tHaT" in the most condescending tone imaginable. I'm a grown man, I don't need to play ego games, so I let it go. Another employee quickly stepped in and shooed him off. But even as I left, the guy glared at me like he wanted to fight. Absolutely disgusting behavior. I ended up paying nearly $300 for what I thought was a new tire. A few weeks later, it started deflating again. At this point, I truly believe they didn't even replace it. Just pumped it full of Fix-a-Flat and sent me on my way. That kind of disrespect is unacceptable. My friends and family, they all know now to stay away from Dunn. Now I go to Mavis Discount Tire. Friendly staff, $125 for a real tire replacement, and not a single staff member acting like they're in a middle school turf war. If Dunn wants to know why they lose customers, this is it.
