I feel that the cost is reasonable compared to what I've paid other places, I am often pleasantly surprised with the total for services. Allow me to say, you all were so right. This place knocked my socks off. John is so thoughtful and thorough, he doesn't make you feel like a loser if you need to have something explained, and he's a problem solver. McKenzie, the young woman working the counter, is similarly on the job, and is equally thoughtful. For example, seeing I use a wheelchair, they made it easier for me to access the office and in a way that was matter of fact and not condescending. When I needed to return the next day for an inspection sticker, McKenzie met me outside the office while still in the van, and did the back and forth on my behalf. It might seem minor but it's so nice to have someone see and act on the "little" things that make life easier to maneuver. Bottom line: Bayberry Automotive is now my go-to garage of choice. Their customer service is top notch along with their mechanics. I found out that my cabin air filter was absurdly dirty. Supposedly my dealer had changed that on a service call. I needed a new muffler and they replaced that. When I needed new tires, I knew who to contact. Once again, they were super friendly and scheduled me at my convenience. They gave me an excellent price for my four new tires. On top of that, my first rotation was free. I went today to have the rotation done. When I arrived for my appointment, they took my car immediately to do the job. When you need service on your vehicle, call John's Auto. They we're always respectful and detailed. If they found issues while I was at home, they would call me, tell me, give me the option if I want them to fix it. My quotes always matched my bill. I tend to ask a lot of questions because that's how I learn. They took me to my car and showed me the issue. Then showed me what it SHOULD look like, no car place ever did that. I had a new found respect for them after they did that. I always do my research no matter what the situation is. That way, I know what to ask and to expect.

I said that I did not opt in for a warranty nor was I offered the option to opt in or out for one. He then said, "Ok, you can buy the parts, and I will charge you $400 in labor." The scam is real. They don't do engines but they were able to help me diagnose that part, and then helped me by letting me keep my car in their parking lot for 3-4 days. I am fortunate that they allowed this. This store swapped out my…read moremounted summer tires for my mounted winter snow tires, and cross threaded one of the nuts on one of the bolts. When I brought my car to the dealer for regular maintenance plus to buy new summer tires, the dealer told me that whoever mounted the tires cross threaded one of the nuts. Bad bad bad. If this weren't bad enough, on my other car, Firestone recommended a change of cabin, air filter, which I did. After that the air-conditioning fan was loud. I took the cabin air filter out only to discover a mouse nest above the air filter. It would've been nice if they took it out and told me, but they didn't. Over the years, this shop went from bad, to good, back to bad again. Another fire stone a few miles away shut down because of terrible service. I hope Firestone can turn this shop around, as it is convenient for me.
