I tap my card and then I was given my receipt. I see that the discount was not applied. Attendant starts the conversation by telling me it is my fault and that they can give me the discount next time. Asked if I could get another service and get the discount on that. Originally told yes but manager vetoed that and said I already paid. I literally showed the coupon when I first arrived. Attendant never told me the price nor showed me the final price before telling me to pay. Manager will not let me get the discount on a different service. They must be hurting for business and I see why. I will not return.

I got a ride home and found Christian Brothers. They called a tow truck for me. They gave me a courtesy ride from my home back to the car so I could give the tow truck driver the keys (fat lot of good that did but still). Front wheels totally locked up but the tow driver knew how to handle that. Once at CBA they gave me a courtesy ride home as well. Next day they gave an estimate. Great communication through calls and texts. Car was fixed following day. They gave me a list of other recommended repairs. As someone else said, not the cheapest but the best. If you're looking for a sub $100 fix, look elsewhere but if you want people who are professional and helpful, go here. I will return.

I brought my 2024 Honda HR-V in for a brake inspection after occasionally hearing minor squeaking. Knowing debris can sometimes cause noise, I wanted to be cautious. After the inspection, I was told I needed front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced due to alleged rust and glazing. For a relatively new vehicle, this recommendation was concerning. When I questioned it, Emmanuel insisted the work was necessary and quoted me $1,967, later reduced to $1,467. The price and urgency raised serious red flags, so I declined and sought a second opinion.That second opinion likely saved me nearly $1,400. I went to Butler Tire, where my vehicle was inspected again. I was told I did not need brake pads or rotors at all and that my brakes were operating safely. I was even provided photos showing the brake pad depth measured with a gauge in the green/safe range..Based on the second inspection, I strongly believe I was nearly swindled into approving unnecessary repairs. Had I not trusted my instincts and done my due diligence, I would have paid for work that was not needed. This is especially disappointing as I was a repeat customer. I'm posting this to encourage others especially women to get a second opinion before approving major repairs at this location. Ask for measurements, request proof, and don't feel pressured. It could save you a significant amount of money.

Some time after, I noticed a small oil drip. At that point, it was never even fully determined whether it was something they did or simply a failed seal on our end -- and honestly, it was probably a part failure. What happened next is what truly sets this company apart. Michael, the owner, personally called me and handled the situation with professionalism and integrity. Because the line wasn't entirely clear on whether the issue was a failed part or something related to the service, he took ownership of making it right. His focus was on standing behind the work, doing right by the customer, and building a long-term relationship -- not pointing fingers. They went way above and beyond. Kia is notorious for requiring OEM parts (aftermarket just won't work properly), so they had to track down a specific part. Michael and his team called multiple Kia dealerships, pulled strings, and somehow managed to get the part the same day, even though we were originally told it could take several days. That alone was impressive. They repaired the vehicle immediately -- and the next morning, Michael and his father personally delivered the car to my house. His father has over 40 years of experience working on vehicles and plays an active role in overseeing the work, which really shows. The two of them together are an impressive team. In conversation, I mentioned to Michael that part of my work involves helping businesses think through customer experience, and we talked about what it looks like to truly take care of people. The hardest time to do that is when it costs the business owner money. This repair did cost him money -- and he still did the right thing without hesitation. I've already referred many people to Strickland Brothers in the past because of consistently good service -- but this experience was different.
