Bad customer experience and extremely time consuming. But led me to the best car fixers around - Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers (they offer full service too). I discovered Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers on SR 64 East in Bradenton. I spoke to the crew and found out it was full service after I told them about the tire problems. I needed a new battery since it sat in the garage (me thinking it was ready to go-NOT). Same new tire, purchased at Mavis, was consistently flat within 24 hours. Express Oil Change even offered to come out and give me a jump and take it in to fix the new tire. But I used AAA and they dropped it off. The knowledge of the crew is top notch! They noticed other things that were wrong and after our conversation and estimate, fixed those too! And again, at a GREAT PRICE! It is FULL SERVICE, not only oil change and tires. Their expertise saved me tons of money and the their vast knowledge of cars is exceptional. Plus, they did it all in one or two days. Can't argue with that! Went there for an oil change and to check out if I have any issues with my car, since I have an engine check light. The professionalism wasn't there, wanted to give me some average oil even though my car requires best oil, which I personally had to tell them. Then told me nothing about the engine. Speed: Took 1.5/2 hours to get the oil that I wanted and change it. Value: Terrible, paid $220 for an oil change, where I can go and spend $250 at the professional shop, with all the original parts. Overall: Very disappointing, do not recommend.

I went to see Geno at Take 5 and he was unhelpful, rude, and basically said that they had no responsibility since the other shop had touched it last!! He would not even let me file a claim saying " I am the claim department".So now I'm on the hook for at least $350 in labor to fix the mess made at Take 5. Beware!! Do not use this company! Also, every time you go, there are new people working there: high turnover means poor management and low-skilled staff. Beware!!!

When I said the transmission was obviously still in the truck there was an added $1200 removal and installation fee. Including $800 for a billet torque converter. That was fine. I found the shop two hours away from where I live in Orlando because I was in a hurry to get my truck which I use for work daily. All the shops are around my area had a 2 to 3 week turnaround time. I explained the urgency, and I wanted to make sure the truck would be done quickly and correctly. I dropped it off April 23. April 23 - truck towed to shop. April 28 - tells me truck will be ready the next day, it isn't. Sep 2 - truck was ready 11 days later. Picked up RAM. Drove it 4 miles down the road transmission overheated. Check transmission fluid. It was not reading on the dipstick called both Brian and Sarkis after stopping at the auto parts store and filling over 6 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid before it registered on the dipstick. Leave truck to make sure transmission didn't cook itself when it over heated to 275° September 11 - I was told the transmission was fixed. picked up RAM. Made a few miles down I-75 before the same TCC code popped up that I sent the truck in for. Oct 23 - Drove the truck back off after it sitting at home while I was out of town work renting a vehicle this entire time. Nov 10 - Brian said the truck was ready so I picked it up at night. Drove it to exit 220 on I-75 and the TCC stopped locking up. This is the exact same issue I dropped it off with. I have now spent over $4k to have a rental car the entire time the truck wasn't able to be driven or while at Burks. I've paid 3 months of commercial insurance on my truck at $562 a month for a total of $1686 and not driven it. Paying for an Uber from Orlando to Sarasota. I've lost contracts due to not being able to haul equipment needed for jobs. There is absolutely nothing they are willing to do to fix this. Ive never dealt with adult as unprofessional and disrespectful as Sarkis. Brian has tried to do what he can in his power I guess but I'm still left out of almost 10k in this whole ordeal and still have the truck exactly the same way as when I took it to them. The pictures are of the ad, the issue when I picked it up September 2 of the transmission overheating. And the communication between Sarkus and myself, and how he responded to me being frustrated which I had all right to be. Save yourself the aggravation and save yourself the money do not use this shop if Sarkis is involved. He made sure to ask me to Zelle him payment, so I have no recourse at getting my money back. I did have them also work on my jeep and they left the four bolts to the shifter, completely loose and it leaked transmission fluid when I picked it up from them because I had taken both my vehicles to them.
