The technicians are friendly and if you just want an oil change then this is the place. However, if you have a Jeep and want to get your transmission fluid changed *STAY AWAY*... I had the transmission fluid changed on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The technician looked a little confused when their computer didn't have that service show up. Long story short, they eventually changed the transmission fluid and my car felt instantly felt wrong. After a day or so driving I decided to take my car to the dealership, and they stated the transmission fluid that was added was incompatible with my car and it needed to be drained, cleaned and filled with the correct transmission fluid which costed me $766.33. I reached out to Valvoline to get reimbursed, and they gave me allot of run-around and double talk stating their transmission fluid molecules blaa blaa blaa... nevertheless, they refused to reimburse me for the damage they caused, and I have to eat the $766.33. So the lesseion here is to NOT USE THEM FOR TRANSMISSION WORK. Update.. I reached out to there customer care as suggested and they gave me the same BS excuse. They suggested the dealership flat out lied and the Valvoline fluid they installed couldn't have been the cause but couldn't explain why my car is now drivable after taking out there fluid, cleaning and replacing the transmission fluid with the Mopar stuff. So it cost me $179 for Valvoline to break my car and another $766 to get it fixed. So I repeat... STAY AWAY. read more

I don't know what happened but I went here 3 days ago and I got an oil change for $100, they literally did nothing else. My tires all still needed air, I had to stop at the Wawa right down the road to fill them all right after. Now 3 days later I looked and they didn't fill any of my fluids. Staff is friendly, but I hate how they try to nickel and dime you by trying to upsell on oil, services, and parts. I get it it's business, but I just need an oil change lol. They were supposed to do oil change on car, stripped oil pan, then inserted wrong drain plug (stripping the plug as well as the pan-again)-this is oil change 101 kids. Best oil changes ever! This is great, it's a drive through oil change, you don't even get out of your car. The technicians are much more professional then other local places (Walmart and Jiffy Lube). They actually check the things on the list they say they will check where other places just say they checked. BE SURE TO USE A COUPON. Their prices are high, but with a coupon the prices are on par with the going rate. They always have coupons on their web site and once you go there you can be added to the list to receive coupons by email or mail. Oh, the entire process took about 10 minutes and the staff was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. read more

Since I've reached the age that rather than dealing with getting down underneath the car to change the oil and the mess that goes along with it, I'm willing to spend a little cash to have someone else do it. I've become a regular here for 2 of my 3 cars (the 3rd has warranty requirements that require special handling) and I'm satisfied with the service and pricing. My most recent full synthetic oil change after the coupon was about $80 and only took about 20 minutes while I sat in the car. About twice the cost of doing it myself, but quick with a lot less headaches. Cora was careful to show me the new filter being installed and the oil levels on the dipstick when the service was complete. The crew seems to work well as a team and they follow a script of service that is confirmed step-by-step between them. Part of the script is a bit of up-selling other services, but that's OK with me. They're a business and that's what they're in business to sell. It's just as easy to thank them and decline any extra services that I don't want. I'm probably just showing my age a little when I cringe at being addressed multiple times as "boss" by one of the crew, but I have to remind myself that I'm getting an oil change in a garage and not checking into a 5 star resort. I will not be going back to Valvoline for service. I called before going in for an oil change and a turn signal bulb installation. The employee explained the differences of the oil types and quoted the costs. She sent a text with a "discount for $10 Off All Oil Changes." She told me to let the technician know I had a discount when I got there. I told the technician about the discount when I got there; he forgot to apply the discount. I called the following day and explained the situation and asked if the transaction could be adjusted to administer the discount. The employee (a different employee than the one from the day before) said that since I already paid, she didn't think the discount could administered, but she would check. She put me on hold for approximately 15 minutes. I probably would have been on hold for much longer, but I was annoyed and hung up. TERRIBLE!! These people removed the compartment under my car to change my oil and failed to fully insert back all the clips causing damage under my car. Beware of this business!!!!! I went in for a standard oil/filter change on 2/16/2020 figuring 40-50$ max but was advised it would be almost $80 once the car was inside for the service. I cannot rate this business as there are no negative stars to select. Most importantly is MAJOR damage they did to the car.....I will update this information shortly as this is a major issue and ongoing with repair issues pending. UPDATE: So after leaving this business I could tell that something was wrong with the car however due to commitments the car was driven over 80 miles in this condition. Within 12 hours I had to drive the car at a maximum speed of 5 MPH to MY mechanic for a diagnosis as that was the fastest it would go and all of the dashboard lights were flashing. My mechanic called latter that day to advise me that instead of the oil being drained they had pulled the drain plug for the transmission and drained that fluid instead of the oil. Not only was the transmission fluid drained (and the engine oil not) but they then over filled the engine oil. After advising the retail location of this mistake I was advised that they "were not surprised by this mistake" and after a review of the pit monitoring system they admitted to the mistake. I was told that due to the potential damage to the transmission that they would have an area manager respond to my repair shop to view the car and that a newer transmission had already been ordered, and would be installed in the car at their expense however they wanted a mechanic of their choice to do the work so they had the vehicle towed to that repair shop. They agreed to provide a rental vehicle during the repair period however when the rental vehicle was picked up OUR credit card was charged for over $350 for this rental!! When questioned about this the Valvoline employee said that it was an error by the car rental agency. REALLY? Now, the following day I received a call indicating that the car was repaired and ready for pick up.....When questioned I was advised that a newer transmission was not needed as their mechanic deemed the current transmission as "ok" and they only needed to add the proper amount of transmission fluid and reset some codes. AND no guarantee would be given by the mechanic or Valvoline as to the future of the transmission. THIS IN MY OPINION IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY AND I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY AND OUTCOME!!! I hope this is helpful! read more

I started using Valvoline for my past several oil changes and will continue to use them. The staff is friendly, and thorough. Valvolene uses what seems to be the Japanese point and call system where the tech touches and/or shouts what theyre doing, like "oil cap secure" or the type of oil used. This is for safety and also to ensure all steps are correct and complete. It seems odd when you first see it, but ive had other oil change places forget to put my oil cap back on, so i appreciate this thoroughness. Like other service stores they will offer you additional services to up-sell but they havent been pushy and the services are appropriate to maintain my vehicle. This will be my last review for this place! As I plan to never use them again for neither of my vehicles. This location is where I take my suv for a oil change every 3,000 miles. I liked it because your allowed to sit in your vehicle while getting a oil change, among other services, which is convenient. Now about my problem. I just took the vehicle I purchased for my mom for a oil change on Tuesday. I was simply going to get a conventional oil change. I was told that they could not do that and could only put this synthetic oil into a 2012 Chevy Cruz which turned out to be $100. How in the world is a oil change for a 2012, compact, Chevy car $100!? There is just no way at all. I have had a oil change done on this car twice, once before it left the dealership, and once after by a mechanic in Moorestown, NJ. Neither of those even came up to $50, and used conventional oil without a problem. I should have left this Delran location when told that a oil change would be $100 but I really wanted to get this oil changed done for my mom and I was already there. I was undecided about using this company before when I had my last oil change done on my suv because of how they pressure you and overwhelm you with recommended things to get done, but now I have definitely decided, that I will never use this location or this company anywhere for any services on any of my vehicles. My last visit, I definitely felt lied to, mislead, deceived, and taken advantage of, and I can not let a company get my business, If I'm going to feel like I just been taken advantage of every time. read more

Good experience. The staff acts as a solid team to get you in and out quickly while doing a thorough job. Polite and professional. While they may be more expensive than some places, even dealerships, you don't need to make an appointment and wait for your car. My last oil change at my dealer took 1 1/2 hours even with an appointment. You can reduce the cost by doing your homework and checking their website for discount coupons. I got $25 off a full service synthetic oil change and the final cost was quite satisfactory. As far as up sell on other services, all shops do this. Just check your car manual in advance for the time interval change recommendations for various things such as air filter, etc. so you are aware of what you may need before you go in. Only negative is that tire rotation is not included in the service which some, not all, places include. Not a big deal however. read more

In addition, the staff was very friendly and transparent during every step of the process! They let you know what they're doing and why they're why doing it! For example, the new oil filter was shown to me, signed/dated, and then installed. Doing business in that manner is educational in a sense and confirms that your money is being well spent! Update on oil change situation. After being told they were unable to perform an oil change for my 1998 4 runner due to not being able to remove skid plate, I personally removed the skid plate with no problem and performed the oul change myself. Therefore the staff at Valvoline apparently are too lazy or too inexperienced to handle what they are "trained" to do. I recommend going elsewhere to have your vehicles serviced. # bums read more

Every employee that helped me was so friendly and professional which usually isn't the case for most mechanics and quick lube shops.
