Always friendly and usually quick with in and out. The folks work hard and quickly. They do most of our company oil changes.

Server's where very nice and respectful. Took their time when needed to be. But got the car serviced in timely manner.

I recently visited the Florence Valvoline and enjoyed the best oil change experience of my lifetime (63 years). I was serviced by Stephen and his crew. Not only did they do a great job but I was able to talk with them about the real services that I needed without any hard sell on those I did not need. Although not the closest Valvoline to my house I will be returning here. read more

I sent my son here bc of a coupon it cost me over 2000$ to fix what they have messed up!!! When he got home he had a oil leak !! So it started.... I dont know the right words or what everything is called however I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!They bent the oil pan !!! Stripped out the plug they did not know foreign cars dont turn the same and sooo much more .... never again read more

Stopped in at valvoline for an oil change, oil change went smooth for the most part until the end. How come an assistant manager, a manager, and one of the crew members could not get my oil change required on the dash reset? You all do this all day every day, and not one of the people on site could help me. Won't be back, go to a dealership instead. read more

Just wanted to say that my experience with this company has always been stellar. As a woman who does not know a lot about cars I ask a lot of questions. Some find that very aggravating but not Valvoline at this location. The men and women who work at this location in Florence, KY are exceptionally kind and they answer all of my questions great or small. Never been here but as soon as I parked my car A very nice girl walked outside and ushered me to the garage. I needed to use the restroom so she showed me the way. She was very professional. I waited inside for A few minutes since they pulled my car to the other spot and the guy came in to get my new customer information. He was very pleasant and professional also. I noticed many people there observing and asked who they were. Info was shared. I thought the oil change was expensive, but fast and I needed it while on break at work. This is my second time having my vehicle serviced at this location and I have been satisfied both times. The staff is efficient and doesn't try and sell you beyond the actual needs of your vehicle. On both occasions I was in and out of the facility within 30 minutes and experienced no issues with my car following the service. Pro tip: there's a Groupon available sometimes so check there before you visit! read more

I have to stop doing business with these guys. My very 1st stop when I came to this area for an oil change and they tried to lie to me to get me to use thier most expensive service. Being in a hurry, I fell for it and $75 later for a simple oil change... They use deceptive practices. NOT going back. read more

Service was professional and quick from the technicians. No complaints there, but Dang, $42 for cheapest oil change? That combined with the constant up sells. I had to say no probably 12 times to things. That's a corporate processes thing and not this location. Seems to be common service for the auto industry which is why good mechanics are so VALUABLE! This is what I get when I do a last minute oil change before a vacation. UPDATE: Valvoline reached out to me to follow up on this comment, which I respect. Still don't like all of the processes they have in place, but I respect them communicating with me. read more

Stopped by on a Monday morning around 11:00 to get my oil changed. A woman promptly directed me into the garage asked me to pop my hood and got started on my car right away. I was able to sit in my car the entire time. Within about 20 minutes my oil was changed, my license plate light was changed which they discovered was out and I had my two filters changed. The gentlemen on the computer giving me options of things they could do for me seemed honest and pulled the filters out for me to show me how dirty they were but also did not make me feel like I needed to have them do more for me than I was willing. Overall excellent customer service. I will definitely be back for my next oil change. read more

I was blown away by the service here. After having terrible terrible service at the Quickstop nearby, I decided not to go back there. So I tried Valvoline which completely outclassed QS by miles! Yes it was a little more expensive, but the service was excellent and the mechanics were so personable and fun and they explained everything that was going on. And though they attempted to sell me additional services, I did not feel pressured into it. I felt that they genuinely wanted me to get the best service possible. Will definitely be returning here for future oil changes! read more

I've been a customer for about 12 years here. They are my go to spot if if just want to pull in and have an oil change without getting out of the car. I know their price may be a little higher than a car shop who would make you wait over an hour and get our of your car, but you pay for ease with this place. They check all of your tires, fluids, and other basic components such as lights. Use them online coupons to save between 5-7 dollars. My Passat had an oil change today and after coupon was $46. read more

I have never written a Yelp review, but this is the experience that has finally moved me to do so. This place is beyond unacceptable. DO NOT GO. There are plenty of other chain places that will do a decent job and be human beings about it if anything goes wrong. Here's my experience. I had a routine oil change done here, and an appointment with my mechanic the very next day. The first thing my mechanic said once the car was up on the lift was "WHO did this oil change? You need to get your money back." They had overfilled and spilled oil all over the undercarriage of my car, making it almost impossible for the guys to do work on it. They had to completely drain and re-do the oil change at the shop. My mechanic, a guy I trust and have been going to for years, was nice enough to call over to Valvoline and speak to Dale, the manager, about his negligent work. He sent Dale pictures of the undercarriage and everything. Dale then called me, assured me he'd look into it, and at the least refund me the cost of the oil change. Fast forward to 2 weeks later. I'd been calling Dale, leaving messages, no returned calls. Finally get him on the phone today, and he says -- completely unapologetically -- that he was on vacation and didn't get the messages. He also said he didn't ever get any pictures from my mechanic, which I know is a lie because I had previously talked to him about these pictures before he went on vacation and ignored my case for 2 weeks. Then Dale proceeds to tell me he "looked at the video" and his mechanics didn't do anything wrong, so they weren't going to refund me anything. This, after an actual, skilled, full service auto mechanic with a great reputation and happy customers was kind enough to take time out of his day to speak to these idiots on my behalf, just to get me proper resolution for the shoddy work over at Valvoline. Dale's arrogance and refusal to be an advocate for his customers, or even keep his own word, is beyond the pale. Total lack of oversight, no accountability, and a major attitude and audible disdain for the fact that I was even following up with him. Hope you enjoyed your vacation, Dale. read more

I was driving through KY on a hot afternoon with a broken a/c and a panting dog in my back seat. I was getting worried about the pup so decided to stop and see if I could get it checked out. Not knowing the area at all, I just stopped at the first auto repair shop I could find off the highway. The not-so-gentle man at the first place said there was no way he could look at my car for a few hours. I explained my situation and asked for suggestions of another place I might try in the area. He quickly said no and dismissed me. This happened again at the next place I tried, which was less than a mile down the same road. I was starting to really worry about my dog as her panting was increasing. Finally, I spotted the Valvoline up ahead. Before I could even get out of my car , I was greeted by a smiling face asking how he could help me. I asked if he could take a look at my a/c and he started working on it immediately, after giving me the price for a/c service up front, which I appreciated. After about 45 minutes, the pup and I were back on the highway with cold air. My perception of Florence, KY was turned around by the kind, efficient gentleman at Valvoline. read more
