If i could give them negative stars, I would. By no…read moremeans, and I mean by no means, take your vehicle here. Happened to be in the area on a Sunday while running farm errands. My greeting was very polite and even made conversation with them. And I quote, "All I need is an oil and filter change, nothing else. I'm short on time" The technician broke an air filter housing unit on my vehicle. Store manager told me a new part would be ordered and could be installed within a few days. Of course Check Engine Light came on during the drive home. After not hearing from them for a few days, I called "the store" which is a corporate call center, who transferred me to "Customer Care". They contacted the store who then stated "we are unsure of which part to order"! You broke the part, had it in your hand and now you're telling me you don't know which part to order??!! They finally ordered the part to be shipped to my home address. Low and behold wouldn't ya know it, wrong part! 450 hours of training? I find that extremely hard to believe. Sounds like false advertising. After more phone calls to "Customer Care" and very little apologies or understanding, the "correct" part was ordered and set to be delivered to my home. Well wouldn't you know it, delivered to the store. After receiving a phone call from corporate and store mgr., they wanted to come to my farm, 30+ miles away and install. No thanks. Just send it to my home. They stated they would overnight it. Part still hasn't arrived. This has gone on for close to if not over a month. I have a working farm w/livestock and rely heavily on my truck. It's apparent they or corporate understand the significance of a farm truck. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!

I opened the hood to find that it was bone dry just two days after our oil change. Fast forward to August 1, 2024 and this time they did check it it appears because as were sitting on the side of the interstate with a car that's overheated and the engine shut down. I pop the hood to find out that the water reservoir lid was laying upside down on top of the engine. It was trapped between the fuse box and the hood. The water boiled out enough that I had to put a gallon of antifreeze back in and burp the system. Now the engine light will not go off. It is showing that the oil is due to be changed. I'm guessing they failed to reset the percentage to 100%. Another issue is that this is my daughters car and she is 19 years old. I sent her on her own these last two times to get her oil changed because I need to teach her to be independent for this kind of stuff. I coached her and left her detailed text messages on what to tell them. They told her that it was a must that she got synthetic and her car would have problems if she got anything different. Therefore, her oil change in a Chevy Cruz cost her over $80. We have always put semi synthetic or conventional oil in this vehicle. Not only will we never be going back to any Valvoline ever again I likely will never even buy their oil ever again. Highly disappointed. Hoping there's no internal damage to the engine but either way a claim will be filed.

My fiancé called at the beginning of the week, and was able to get my car an appointment for Friday of the same week. All of our interactions with the team members here were positive! Cody took care of our scheduling and check-in, and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had the car back in less than 24 hours, and it was ready to hit the road. Tires aren't ever going to be cheap ... but this was the best deal we found around NKY, and we'd definitely return the next time we're dealing with a tire debacle.

Very rarely, though, do you have two cars that need service at the exact same time ... and unfortunately, that's what my fiancé and I have been dealing with for the last three days. Fortunately for us, David, Andre, and the rest of the guys at Midas Florence took care of us quickly, professionally, and thoroughly. We both agreed this is some of the best customer service we've received when it comes to car care ... and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location for all of your automotive needs. My car went down first ... all of a sudden, the AC just wasn't blowing. It took me all of one day of driving with the windows down in humid July weather to realize this was a fix that couldn't wait. I called a trustworthy dealership that I typically go to for oil changes and the like ... and they said they couldn't take a look at my AC until the beginning of August. That just wasn't going to work for me, so I enlisted my fiancé's help. He called a few more dealerships, and heard pretty much the same story. On a whim, he called Midas, and they said, "Yeah, bring it in today. We can take a look and see what's going on." So we brought it in on Saturday, with the promise that they would take a look later that afternoon, or first thing Monday, since they're closed on Sundays. We were elated with that timing - especially considering how long we would've had to wait if we'd gone elsewhere. But ... when it rains it pours, and our car troubles didn't end there. As we were going about our weekend, my fiancé's brakes started making an absolutely awful grinding noise. When Midas called him on Monday with an update about my car, he asked if he could bring his in as well. They had the same response, "Sure, bring it in. We can take a look this afternoon!" They had his brakes/brake pads looked at and replaced in just over three hours, which was barely enough time for us to even notice that we had both cars in the shop at once. My car was as good as new the day after that, and I have to say again, this is probably the quickest I've ever been in and out of a mechanic. Midas Florence really came through for us - and with such great prices, we won't go anywhere else to service our cars without stopping here first.
