The crew gets it done thoroughly and promptly That said, my one pet peeve that cost them a star is that when they went to check my tire inflation pressure, they inflate it to what the tire sidewall says is max, and not the proper tire pressure on the OEM sticker in the doorjamb of my vehicle, This means they overinflated my tires this last time and it's a sign of an inexperienced tech/mechanic. I was in the auto industry for decades and YOU ALWAYS GO WITH THE MANUFACTURERS DOOR STICKER ON TIRE PRESSURES- the only exception is if the car does not have the correct OEM tire sizes on, and I DO. I had also told them what tire pressures they should be (they didn't check the door sticker) and the guy doing the tire inflation ignored it. Unacceptable. Maybe he figured at least he checked them and I didn't leave with the tires low, but that's not the point and it's not professional. Overinflation causes premature wear and improper tread contact on the road. read more

When they say instant, they mean it. We were driving our truck camper up Grant's Pass when our light for an oil change came on. The ideal place to get our oil changed is one with a high clearance bay. The picture of their facility immediately popped out for us. We called and the person on the phone couldn't have been more friendly. Ten minutes later, we pulled right into their bay and 20 minutes after that, we were on our way to our next camp spot. Scammers, liars, hustlers. From top to bottom. It was so bad I created a Yelp account just to write this review. I sent my wife by herself to get an oil change, and these guys tried to take advantage of her. They told her, that her passenger headlight was burned out and that they could repair it while she got her oil changed. I was on the phone with her at the time and I heard the whole conversation. I told her not to let them bother with it, and that I would change it for her to save some money. After she got home yesterday I checked her car, lo and behold headlights are fine, I stopped by the VALVOLINE INSTANT oil change on my way to run errands, today to talk to the manager. The manager 'Ken' told me that my claim was ridiculous, they would never scam someone. I told them that it didn't seem to be the case. The Service Tech that had spoke to my wife (he had been listening) then came up and asked me what car it was. He said it didn't sound familiar at all. I told the manager he should fire this tech for being shady and lying about it. Then the tech named 'Lane' screamed at me to leave the property several times, while the manager and I were still talking. The manager had to tell 'Lane' to be quiet and get back to work several times for yelling at me. Lane at one point said "just get out of here motherf****r". YES, an employee at this oil change spot yelled this at a customer, for calling them on their attempted scam. The manager did nothing but cringe his face at his employee's words. The manager Ken seemed intimidated by Lane. After all this, the best the manager could do was to say he would review the security footage and see if the headlight was out when the car was there. I left and came back an hour later and asked about the security film. Ken the manager said that "after reviewing the footage himself he could see that it was the daytime running lamp that was out. Not the headlight, it is a small light that would be hard for me to see in the daylight." end quote. BTW employee Lane was again yelling at me to the point where I thought there would be a fight. Ken the manager just casually told him to go back to work. I was in my own car so I could not verify this Daytime Running Lamp was out at the time. (READER keep in mind, daylight was not an issue yesterday when the tech could see the 'supposed' light was out during the middle of the day) When I got home, I again checked my wife's car which is an 08 Scion TC and wait for it... IT IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS. There is not a bulb burned out on this car. They tried to scam an ex-car-salesman's wife with the old "headlight is out, we'll fix it trick". Then they tried to intimidate me, and then lie about the first scam. There is a special place just for these kinda folks, and it aint Grants Pass. read more

I had my transmission fluid changed in my diesel truck. Now my transmission overheats when I tow or go up steep hills. I don't know what the heck the did, but my truck is now useless when towing over 3,000 lbs (it's rated for 23,000 lbs). They might be good for a basic oil change, but do not let them touch any other part of your vehicle. read more

They did a good job for a fair price so I returned yesterday and and asked for the basic bare-bones oil and filter change. Four and a half quarts synthetic blend and a filter came to $61.99. After going home and thinking about it for a while I thought that was kind of high, so I googled "oil change nearby" and the first thing that came was a coupon for $15 off an oil change at that location. My bad for not shopping on my phone before paying the man. I went back today and they would not honor the coupon after the fact. They have serviced my cars for my years ... took my car in for servicing and they told me my serpentine belt need to be changed...they striped the tension nut on it.. but told me were unable to change it there.. it would be better if I too it to an auto repair shop.. I didn't know they did all this damage until I took it in to my mechanic and he showed me when he opened the hood.. I called them on it and they cleared my bill I owed them for the oil change... Foolish me i went back to have my oil changed when it was time.. they told me it was time to have my transmission flushed.. I said sure please care of it... well unbeknownst to be and many trips back for service thinking they were doing what oil change entails with is checking ALL fluid levels they were not... on the way home from work my transmission was slipping badly all of a sudden my RPM's went to 4500.. the sound of the transmission engaging was so load I thought it fell on the road... by the grace of my lord I finely made it home... when I pulled in the garage I checked the transmission fluid and there WASN'T a drop in it... There has never been any leaks from my car.. I have ALWAYS taken very good care of my car.. This crew at this location NEVER checked the fluid levels because if they had of they would have seen that the transmission fluid did not Register on the dipstick... I informed them of all this and they told me that they have been checking it all along. read more
