I ended up on the side of the road 5 miles away from the Valvoline on Main St in High Point NC after my 160.00!! OIL CHANGE and inspection! All the lights came on including the engine light, then the car began to shake and I lost power!! I WAS STRANDED on a two lane highway. I called the store to to advise them of my situation. It took them 45minutes total to get to me.Only 5 miles from the store, 25 mins. Later I call back to see where the manager is, Shan, the Asst. Mangr. rudely says, "I'm running the floor, I don't know" I advise her I'm alone on the side of the road, she says "so" and hang up on me. Horrible attitude. Infinite, the store manager arrives finds out it's WAAAYY too MUCH OIL. Long horrible story short TWO HOURS LATER we get back to Valoline. I see Asst. Mgr. Shan and ask her if she hung up on me. "Yes, I sure did. I didn't mess up your car. You don't blame me." As I walked away, I told her she was very unprofessional. She began saying some kind of slang, "I build'em up and knock'em down baby" " I'm the real" so aggressive and demonstrative that the manager had to the step in front of her and calm her down. I was totally disrespected. I WILL NEVER EVER STEP IN ANY ESTABLISHMENT THAT ALLOWS THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOR!! I FELT UNSAFE AND THREATENED. I received excellent service this morning at Valvoline. I was way overdue for an oil change and decided to come here before work on a Thursday. They open at 7:30am so it worked perfectly with my schedule. There was one gentleman there that greeted me almost immediately even though I was there right before opening. I pulled right in and he started the oil change. It took less than 10 minutes and he was very polite. I declined the air filter because I don't have a lot of expendable income right now. He gave me no trouble. He scanned a coupon for me and it wasn't too expensive even though I know I was way overdue. You stay in your car for the oil changes now, due to covid, and I'm grateful for that. I will continue to get oil changes done here and at the other HP locations. It's always quick and painless, and now I can drive my car with confidence. read more

Not a bad oil change place has a lot of discounts for seniors and military. Really convenient and if you're needing something fast this place will do. Nice waiting room but you won't be in it long as free water. The workers here seem very Customer driven. I mean, why go to Walmart and waste two hours Of your life buying things you don't need. I have never figured out Lexington Wal-Mart problems with getting some good people in The Auto Lube Express. But they always say the wait is going to be an hour or more no matter what you go in there for. And they always say they do not have the staff and they usually close early. So you might as well come here and save Hearing the same sad song at Wal-Mart . God Bless America. read more

I honestly don't know where to start with this except that I encourage anyone who is going to have your car inspected, so so elsewhere. This location has been nothing short of a nightmare for my husband and I am disgusted with the way things have played out. The inspector, Glenn Powell, at this location is not only on some absurd power trip, but he is the most condescending and unprofessional person I have ever heard of in this business. He charged my husband a tint fee and failed him for 5% too much tint. There is no special tint on this car and at any other location he has visited it is never been a problem. He went to a 2nd Valvoline location and they didn't charge a tint fee or check the tint because he doesn't have any special tint on his windows! This process cost us an extra $30 because we had to get a completely new inspection. However, it was money well spent not to have to deal with that person ever again. Stay away from Valvoline. I wouldn't go there again, if it was the last place on earth for an inspection. And funny thing is, it is NOT! There are plenty of places to go where you won't be treated like crap. Try one of those instead. read more

I came to get my car inspected and the lady that met me at my car was very rude and unprofessional. She was slamming my car door and screaming about my car. She then proceeded to say "it will be added time because i have to put everything in manually, get out of your car leave your keys in there and we will pull it in" she was absolutely rude and disrespectful. Staff is friendly that's great, but I need an oil change and tire rotation. You are not getting a 15 minute oil change here. For a while I was the only customer, still a long process. Staff is skittish and lacks work ethic. There is no sense of urgency from any of the employees with the exception of one young lady who seemed to be physically hurting. We are all struggling to get help but damn is this the norm everywhere. Last visit was just as frustrating with oil dripping and loose plug. Time to find a new company for this service and that's sad because this is close to home. read more

Took advantage of a teenager! Sent my son with his 2002 forerunner for an oil change and he was charged over $100!!! I called and spoke to the service manager who gave me a litany of excuses although he agreed that if his teenager got charged over $100 for an oil change he would be mad as hell too. He then had the audacity to become short with me. I would avoid this location at all costs! read more

I went in on a weekday to get a NC state inspection. They were not only kind and courteous, but were FAST! Robert the Assistant Manager who was working on my car knew I wouldn't pass state inspection with the current wiper blades I had, and offered to replace them BOGO. I'm out of town on business when I noticed I had a screw in my tire. Needing to hop on the road and head back home (a three hour drive) my coworker recommended going here. As they had done a repair on hers before. She headed there before myself to ask if someone had time. She called to let me know they did, I popped over pulled up and let the gentleman know I was there for a tire patch. He walked away and came back and said "Not today!". My coworker being confused and still there got out of her car and said, you just said he could do it not even five minutes ago. The gentleman went on to inform her and I that he "didn't feel like dealing with it." *rage* You don't feel like doing your job? Lanny, didn't think I would care. But Lanny, I do. I asked for the name of his manager, he gave it to me. I asked for corporates number witch he said he wasn't allowed to give out. He then went on to back track what he meant. Saying at his old store they didn't patch tires. Well, why did your coworker say you would and why did he then say you didn't feel like "dealing with it today". He back tracks more saying it's only a side gig they do there and they pay them under the table blah blah. I went and found corporates number myself. And they will be herring from me ASAP!
