The hardware looked nice and I had the suspension installed on my car. The car bottomed out and was bouncing from the first drive, it was essentially unsafe to drive the car so I held off aligning the car. I have had coil overs on my 335i, E46 M3 and E36 M3 and relative to those coilovers (ST/ Ground Control / KW V1) I can say for sure this setup needed a lot more design time and was basically a complete experiment in terms of valving and coil rates. I contacted customer support and after a protracted back and fourth that required my follow ups, I was notified that the suspension had been redesigned and they agreed to offer a partial refund that was never defined. The asked for pictures. I sent them along and did not hear anything. I followed up and they claim to have not seen the email and they determined too much time had gone by to support me or return my calls or respond to emails any longer. I paid $800 for the shocks and $900 for the install labor so all told a very expensive lesson. I did not keep the original shock or springs so for the H&R springs, and B8 shocks which cost another $800 and installation. It was a relief when a properly engineered suspension was back on the car. I was lucky to have alternative cars to use during this months long back and fourth. I think these guys probably have a good product for a few cars like Subaru. But you are taking a serious risk here when you consider the support and time spent engineering these systems. It's not all about quality of hardware, design is a huge factor and you gotta pay to play when it comes to design. Save up for a quality system backed by quality people.

I arrived at 1:03 and was told it would be about 1/2 hour as the tech was finishing up the car he was working on. I thought that was reasonable so had a seat in their waiting area. A woman was there also waiting. Her car was completed about 30-40 minutes later. In the meantime two other customers arrived. At 2:15 both of their cars were completed (also for tire repairs) and I'm still sitting there. I asked for an update and someone checked and said it would be 15 more minutes. I asked why people that came in after me were already completed. I was told the techs they were assigned must have finished their previous vehicles quicker. I finally left at 2:38. So it doesn't matter if you have an appointment, it's which tech they assign you to! It certainly isn't in a first come first serve process! So, hope that the tech you are "assigned" has easier vehicle repairs before yours!

I experienced a catastrophic failure of the left lower control arm while driving. I had my car…read moretowed to Sanborn's that Saturday. When they put it up on the lift, it was determined that the right lower control arm was in nearly the same condition. The parts were not on hand and had to be ordered which took some time and rolled into my vacation out of state. They were very understanding and contacted me after my vacation to make arrangements for me to get my car back. My parents, both deceased now, relied on Sanborn's for all of their vehicle maintenance for over 30 years. As an aside, I'm pretty sure it would have cost me at least double for these repairs at the dealership.
