I added some fluid but it leaked out every day even with it sitting and not being driven. I called up and spoke with Frank. He told me to bring it on in and I made an appointment. He asked if I needed it back same day! I did not so they started in on it and when they pulled the pinion and it had suffered some grooves in it from being low on fluid. They gave me a price that I was happy with. They ordered the part and it came in the next day and I was able to pick my truck up in the afternoon. I put a price of cardboard under it just Incase but this morning not a drop! Great company and I'm happy o found my new mechanic and it's right down the road.

I initially brought my 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-550 on 08/28/2026 to initialize/program the battery to the car as it had been recently replaced, the mirrors weren't folding, and the rear suspension was stuck on high. The service advisor, Dylan Hakesworth, worked directly with me and over an hour after arrival he informed me the issue had a hard fault/trouble code. The trouble code was for a failure in the left-rear suspension sensor and Dylan was aware of that because we spoke about it in detail. When inquiring about the vehicle's rear-view mirrors, Dylan said he forgot to check into it. When asked about the next steps, Dylan informed me that the balance of $164.10 needed to be paid before they were able to do anything further, which I paid. Also, in order to keep working on this issue, it would be another $262.09 which was approved. Now two hours later, at 3:00PM, Dylan stated the issue was with the left-rear suspension sensor and linkage, which we already knew. Dylan stated the sensor linkage was "frozen and oxidized" so he "attempted to lubricate and blast it" but it was too corroded. At the time, the only picture presented was of the right-rear suspension linkage which appeared to be perfectly fine and not the left-rear where the issue was located at. At this point, the mirrors still had not been looked at or any initialization of the battery to the car which were both issues I had brought this vehicle in for. Dylan then quoted me "$1.5k for the installation of linkage plus an hour of labor to remove the rust and drill." After the frustration of waiting four hours, I asked for the vehicle and left the shop. As soon as I arrived at the house I went under the vehicle and immediately saw the obviously broken linkage. It was also clear to see that NO lubrication claimed by Dylan had been done to ANY of the linkage, pictures attached. The next day I went to Mercedes Benz in Naples and was able to get the part for $70, installed and the problem was solved. This was a very frustrating experience as I was in the facility for 4 hours and left with the exact same issues but $400 short. I met the owner briefly that morning as I walked into the shop and he was heading out. I trusted this shop and its employees because it looked reputable enough. You don't do this to the consumer, a guy like Dylan should have been honest from the start. Charging almost $300 when we already knew where the issue was is robbery, not to mention simply lifting the vehicle up and looking would have easily shown the problem. If I had looked AT ALL THE REVIEWS INCLUDING YELP, I would never have gone to this shop. What happened that day was dirty and unethical. I was ripped off and lied to. At the end of the day, I spent $400 and they did nothing.

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop…read more I brought my car in twice because it was having ongoing issues. Both times, I explained that something was clearly wrong, including the fact that my vehicle had little to no coolant after driving. Despite my concerns, I was repeatedly told that the car was "perfectly fine" and that nothing was wrong. I ended up spending a good amount of money on diagnostics with this shop and received absolutely no resolution. Since the problem continued, I had no choice but to spend even more money to take my car somewhere else just to have another mechanic confirm what was actually wrong. Within about an hour, the second mechanic identified the issue: the coolant was being routed into cylinder #2, indicating a serious internal engine problem. Not only did they find the problem quickly, but they also charged less for the diagnostic than this shop did. What concerns me most is that if I had trusted the diagnosis from this shop, I likely would have continued driving the vehicle and could have caused catastrophic engine damage. Instead of receiving an accurate diagnosis, I paid a significant amount of money only to be told everything was fine when it clearly wasn't. I understand that diagnosing vehicles can sometimes be challenging, but completely dismissing a customer's concerns twice without identifying a major coolant issue is unacceptable. I wasted both time and money, and ultimately had to pay another mechanic to do the job correctly. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop and would strongly encourage anyone who feels their concerns are being dismissed to seek a second opinion.

They advised flushing brake fluid yet 6 months earlier all 4 brakes were replaced, Did that brake fluid go bad in 6 months? The worst was I was shown photos barely visible of an oil leak. My car parks on a white concrete floor garage floor and in two weeks I haven't seen an oil spot. That would have been an almost $1000 repair that I declined. I think since Walter sold it two owners have owned it. I didn't recognize anyone from Walter's original change. My car will be serviced elsewhere from now on.and will never recommend them to friends. I also noticed that when Walter owned it all the bays were full but on two visits one 2 or 3 bays had cars being worked on. I used to recommend Walter to friends but no longer. Take note of reviews recently versus when Walter operated it.

I arrived early at 5:00 for my 5:15 appointment for "The Works" package which includes an overall servicing. He told me that the place wasn't an appointment-based facility (was just trying to be proactive since i like having appointments set so i can avoid waiting in a line). He also informed me that they often don't do oil changes after 5:00 because it "pisses off the technicians." what that has to do with me? not sure- because i had an appointment scheduled for an entire week and no one called to inform me that. i asked him kindly if he could just squeeze me in anyway because i drove all the way there and i was there AT 5. he just had an attitude the entire time with me it felt like. i understand i arrived later in the day, but it was my first time there and i just followed the instructions to schedule online. if its true that oil changes aren't available after 5:00 then the website needs to be adjusted before blaming customers. AND i was severely overcharged by Jarrett. I'm a mechanic myself and i knew the price was STEEP i was charged $218 for my servicing (included oil change, tire rotation, and inspection). I wasn't going to argue with him as i knew he was already giving me shit that day, so i called the servicing manager, who was EXTREMELY helpful through this whole situation and refunded me the $91 i was overcharged. luckily the customer service is good, but the front desk needs a little love in the place. perhaps it's because im a young woman? who knows.

AJ Automotive is the best independent auto shop in the local Fort Myers area…read more Shortly after relocating from Manassas, VA to Fort Myers in May 2017, my wife and I had experienced a significant upsell attempt by the Service Manager at the AutoNation Toyota Fort Myers Service Center on our 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid with approximately 25K miles. We had taken our Camry Hybrid in for an oil change and tire rotation. Within minutes after the vehicle was raised on a service rack, the Service Manager came to us and stated that we needed all new brakes. He added that the work could be done while the other work was being performed. Of course, the brake service was going to cost at least an additional $650 dollars which he added could increase if any additional issues surfaced once the work began. We declined the brake service recommendation and later asked a resident in our condominium building who owned a local used car dealership where he serviced his vehicles. He stated he took his vehicles for sale to AJ Automotive located at 15580 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33908 to be serviced before he placed them on his sales lot. He added that he also took his own personal cars to AJ Automotive and was always extremely pleased with the quality of work and that the service and repair costs were very fair. I subsequently made my first appointment at AJ Automotive in July 2017 in order to have the brakes on our Camry Hybrid inspected. After a complete safety inspection, AJ stated that the disc pads had very minimal wear and certainly not a candidate for replacement. I swore that I would never have any of my Toyota vehicles serviced by the AutoNation Toyota Fort Myers Service Center. Based on this appointment, my wife and I have used AJ to service both our Toyota Camry Hybrid and Toyota Highlander. Upon trading in our Toyota Highlander for a Honda CRV, we continued with AJ servicing our vehicles. They are extremely knowledgeable on an array of foreign and domestic car manufacturers and will ensure your vehicle is maintained to their factory specifications and standards. Recently, while my wife was driving our 2012 Camry Hybrid, the engine light illuminated on the car's dash board. She immediately pulled the car over and called me regarding the situation. Since she was only a few blocks away from AJ's Automotive shop, I suggested that she drive the vehicle directly to his location. As a frequent customer, AJ has always been very accommodating on allowing us to drop off our vehicles for unscheduled appointments, especially for emergency situations. After completing the service request, we left our Camry Hybrid and returned home. A few hours later, AJ called and told us that the "carbon filter box" on the vehicle's gas tank fill line failed and a new one would need to be purchased and installed.
