I have had mild success in the past. However, I asked for a number of issues to be addressed on my vehicle. One of the most important, and why I went in was to charge my a/c. After looking over my vehicll, they wanted me to replace the condenser and almost the whole a/c system. I was generous because they pointed out some not-cheap, borderline issues which I agreed to. As long as the topped up my a/c After agreeing to extra work, they didn't even bother putting a can of fryon in! Also, they pointed out a leak which was never there before. Sent it to me in a video when I wasn't present of course. Not only did they ignore one of my primary request, my a/c completely quit after collecting my vehicle. These people, and Dan the manager primarily, only care about pumpingg up your invoice as much as they can. I thought I'd found someone reputable. I told them I was a 100% VA disabled and survive on Vets benefits. Dan didn't care. So, thank you Daniel for I can no longer take my dog to her favorite location until I can find someone who'll simply put a can of fryon in until I getn back to NE in a month. Oh, and don't give me the "well, it has to be evacced first" because I am not dumb, and have actually harmlessly put a can of Fryon in my vehicle. Then again, I suppose I must understand that at the core is you trying to squeeze the most life out of my wallet as you can!!!! Furthermore, I am mechanically-oriented being a retired Aircraft Mechanic from the USAF! My point being, I would gamble my left pinkie that there are UMPTEEN PEOPLE YOU HAVE SWINDLED in the Naples area. I will not stop here. The pen is mightier than the sword and I'll make sure the word gets out to such people superior to you in your food chain. I don't know how they are with transmissions but I wouldn't use them anymore for total car care. Brought my car there because my a/c was blowing hot. My truck was in & out of the shop for 3 days, I spent hours waiting there, 80$ in uber rides, they bilked me for almost 700$! And never fixed my a/c, finally they told me they didn't know what was wrong with it, it could be electrical & referred me to another shop nearby. I wasn't about to play hit & miss with my money anymore! They never even compensated by giving me a partial refund! And charged me 60$ for supplies on both repairs ( what was that about!) considering a lawsuit read more

I have dealt with squeaky brakes for the last 10,000 of my 49,000 miles on my Chevy Silverado 2021 2500 duramax. I've taken my truck to Estero bay (a couple of times) & Valward Cadillac.. only to hear that "maybe a good car wash would help" or simply-there was no issue with the brakes.. mind you, my truck sounded like a school bus.. it was obnoxiously loud & extremely embarrassing to navigate drive-throughs, subdivisions or just the normal Lee county stop and go traffic. When I took my truck to AAMCO last month, Dan & his crew more than exceeded my expectations. Within a couple of hours, they had pinpointed the cause of my squeaky brakes, had a solution to fix them and I was able to troubleshoot directly with the men working on my truck about my trailer gain while hauling.. it was SO nice dealing with knowledgeable, hands on, blue collar mechanics that don't rely on plugging a vehicle in & waiting on a computer to tell them what to do through a diagnostics report. read more

I really like this repair shop! I've only been living in Naples for a year now, but upon moving down here I wanted to find a local, reputable, and trustworthy place to take my vehicle for service. Up until recently I had a Mini Cooper and took it to AAMCO for everything. I've been there multiple times to figure out an A/C issue and then an engine issue and even just oil changes. Aaron is super friendly and always managed to get me into his busy schedule, even for same day service! The owner Dan is also really friendly and even gave me a ride home when I unexpectedly had to leave my Mini at the shop overnight. Even if you can't stay on site, they'll send you a video of what's going on with your vehicle and tell you what they recommend. Prices can be a bit high, but I still feel the service is fair and honest. Definitely better than taking to a Valvoline or Jiffy Lube! read more

I Keep a vehicle at my Vacation home and have taken it to several shops for maintenance. I being an ex mechanic was not fond of my choices. I ran into an Issue with an intermittent engine light coming on and off. Very rare to see this and I needed to find out why as I let family use our place and didn't need them to have a problem. I Yelp'd auto repairs and found these guys. I was skeptical as it was a transmission place but the reviews were great and the people had various issues. I took it to them and they figured it out quickly. The one mechanic saw the 2 codes on computer and said this seems odd I bet it's the idle/transmission timing being off. Sure enough after he reprogrammed both to sync they car ran great. My second trip was for an antifreeze leak and noise in front right wheel. I was flying out that night so I dropped it off at Aamco, was driven back to my house and left to go back home for 2 weeks. They promised to fix it and also bring the car to my house and I instructed them to lock the keys in car when done. Aamco called me and stated a hurricane Irma is coming. Can we leave it in garage so no damage will happen to the car? I felt comfortable with these guys as they are very honest and I gave them my garage code. Took my car over for a check up since I'm having trouble with the transmission, I couldn't quite reach their shop since my car stalled out literally 2 buildings over their shop... not even a block distance.. so I left my car where it was and walked over to the shop to see if one of their guys would help me push my manual car to their shop. Was told "they couldn't" send one of their guys out to help.. wow! Giving these guys business by bringing my car over to them, and they can't even help to push a car half a block distance! This place does not know what they are doing!!! I brought my box truck in for some service work. They told me I needed new brakes, so I got them. 100 miles down the road my wheel nearly falls off and almost causes a horrible accident. When I called for support the would not help. I had to take my truck to another mechanic, then I was informed of aamco not putting oil back in the rear end after they had serviced it. After talking with numerous aamco representatives they agreed with it being there fault but was only willing to reimburse what I paid at there shop They would not repair nor pay for repairs made because of their wrong doing. read more

I want to personally thank the Aamco Station, Chris the manager and the employees II did not meet who took care of my car. I was having this interesting issue where the battery kept draining. They really took the time to assess the problem. they ran several diagnostics to figure out what was going on, The staff is courteous. My home town is about 3,000 miles away. The left front ujoint in the my 4 wheel drive was making a noise. I took it to Aamco and met Chris. I had gone to another shop but they would have been able to look at it on Monday. I was leaving on Monday. Aamco had an opening. Chris looked at the left side no doubt needed a new u joint. Then the bullying came. He then insisted on installing a new U joint on the right. The right was fine wasn't making a noise or was not loose. He also decided that I needed new upper ball joints. Well the estimate with the U joints and ball joints came to a little over 1100 Dollars. Chris insisted on installing new U Joints on both sides. I was kind of stuck because the other shop had been all booked and there were two other shops which may have been booked. I told Chris ok on the U joints but the ball joints were ok. I had new tires installed and the front end checked and aligned just 6000 miles ago. Then it was discovered that the front end was a 3500 Dodge rather than the 2500 mine is a 2500. Chris ordered the u joints from Dodge which were twice as much as the 2500 U joints but the different front end was not Chris's fault just one of those things. The tech did a good job and I was on my way the following afternoon. I am now 500 miles away and everything is working good. My assessment of Chris is that he saw a chance to make a few extra bucks and was going to attempt to get the extra 600 bucks out of me. I have the old U joints and the right ones would not have to have been replaced. I am 70 plus years old and have a few years of mechanical experience under my belt. The service was fine. Chris had to go out of his way to order the parts from Dodge and all of that was done in a very professional way. read more
