Came here to get an oil change as I recently moved to the area. The gentlemen who took care of us by the name of Adrian was such a sweetheart and very through in his explanations. However, I wish I could say the same about "Keoki." This guy had a nasty attitude, upon us driving in you could tell that he was just bothered. Moved up here 5 years ago and my best friend goes here and for these past 5 years, I have my cars serviced here along with my kids and their mother to which I referred them all and this is the ONLY place we get our oil changes. They even gave me information about my car that gave them great credibility and I would recommend people from any of the outer states to come HERE to get serviced because they're really a legit business and I'll never go to anyone else as long as I'm driving a car. There is a mechanic here, who name is starts with an R, that is quite unprofessional and rude. I have been a regular customer for almost three years and I will not be returning due to him. I drive a Saab and this mechanic thought it would be great to take digs at my car. It started off with one mechanic saying "oh wow a Saab! I don't get to see these often." The rude mechanic then goes "oh pft! You see these all the time." Next he thought it would be funny to tell me I drive a rebadged Chevy, which is not true but kind of made me doubtful about the car I had (I later researched that basically no Saabs are rebadged Chevys and that it's actually reversed, a lot of Chevys are rebadged Saabs). He said questioning if I purposely put Amber colored lights put in for my brakes. Also not true. I responded and said I come to this Valvoline every 3 months and you actually checked my lights last time and did not mention this, and no one I did not have my brake light changed since, so don't accuse me of something I did not do. That stopped the smugness from him for a second. All in all, I felt ganged up on for no reason by this one particular mechanic. They had a different mechanic before who was a decent, nice man but I haven't seen him lately. Also this mechanic printed out my mileage sticker wrong for when to return for the next oil change service . Instead of 155,000 miles he put 1,500,000. He was so busy talking crap about my car, he did not make sure print the sticker correctly. I always go to Valvoline to get my oil changed. I mean literally they get you in and out no bullshit. They recommend what you need done, your choice, I use RetailMeNot to get a couple bucks off , pay and leave. Obviously the more you get done it's going to be a little longer. Very convenient, for me anyway, I've got brake lights changed headlights changed (bulbs) wipers. Flushes. Super convenient . Anywhere else they want you to leave the car for the day. read more

This is the third time I've been here and twice they weren't able to rotate my tires because their jack was broken. They have three bays and logically should have three jacks. Seriously, a good quality jack is only about $200. Is $600 that big of an investment for Valvoline? I almost rated two stars but because the guy asked about my wipers I upped the rating. Valvoline is a bit on the pricier side. I use their coupon which help a little. But I will say this... they are convenient, have reasonable hours and just available. They're open every day, which is rare for businesses around here. A lot of businesses in the poconos have strange hours and it causes an inconvenience. When you come here, the mechanics are ready to help, friendly and fast. They did my oil change in 10 minutes and there was no line. read more

I found the drive in oil change concept to be convenient. I felt the service to be fairly efficient; cameras everywhere to ensure quality. This place sucks, they only do minimum work , also it's always something that needs to be done that they are not authorized to do. I went to this place after I said I would never go back , they didn't have the oil for my car , then told me to go get the oil and they would do it, after I got the oil and wasted all that time , they tell me we are sorry but we aren't authorized to do the oil change because we don't carry that oil smh, lol I just pulled off as the guy was talking . Complete waste of time. If you are just in a rush , I guess you can use these morons, but I suggest just taking your car to an actual mechanic and just wait, valvoline always cant do something or are not authorized to do something for your car, so just take it to a real mechanic and avoid these clowns all together read more

This Valvoline used to be a full service JiffyLube a couple years ago. The prices seem to have increased but the service is minimal. While my family has used their service since they were JL we continued to do so even when they changed to Valvoline. JL used to change oil, top off all fluids under the hood, check windshield wipers, head lights, reverse lights and indicators. And Valvoline did so in the very beginning then stopped. Now Valvoline does the bare minimum. We are considering dropping them as a service provider if they dont improve their service to what it used to be. read more

An oil change should not cost almost $90. Totally took advantage of the fact that I don't know much about cars. Only offered me expensive synthetic oil options and showed me a disgusting air filter claiming it was mine. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Unless you want to be ripped off and lied to, I highly suggest going somewhere else like Kost. read more
