Then when he put the car on the lift, he brought me underneath with him and showed me everything he was looking at. He found that all four brake rotors were rusted (which I got the dealer to fix for free, saving me $700), but gave the car the all clear besides that. Overall, an extremely friendly and useful experience. Here's the kicker, though: because he had made me wait for 20 minutes or so, he insisted that I not pay him anything for the inspection. Wow.
