Wife stopped by for an oil change. Went to Willow Grove Valvoline, left on April 3rd. I get home last week and asked my wife why there is oil drops in the drive way. Well it's because they cracked the oil filter housing. When asked about the explerience she questioned why it took them so long to change the oil. Now it makes senses as they had no idea what they were doing with the 4Runner. We will NEVER trust this Valvoine again. Pure neglect. Just disappointed, won't even take it back there for them to have a chance in repairing as we don't trust the job will be don't right. Stay away. read more

I have to say this was one of the best oil change experiences I've ever had! First the fact that you don't have to get out of your car is a plus! No need for an appointment...just show up. My advice ...come early but even if your in line it moves fast. This was my first time here and everyone I interacted with was super nice and helpful. As a women when I usually go to an auto shop I feel like they try to get over on me...not here! They explained everything as it was happening. If something was recommended they would explain it and make sure I understood what they were saying and I loved that they were not super pushy when I said no thank you for an add on. The total oil change was about 20-25 mins but felt super fast. I will definitely only be coming here in the future for all my oil changes or any other services they offer. read more

Never again. I've been using them for several years, until today. I took my car in recently for an oil change, and the next morning discovered oil on the garage floor. I went in a few days later first thing in the morning and they assured me everything was tight and not leaking--something else was the problem. Then today I took the car to the mechanic who does all my other work, and he found a rubber and metal temporary drain plug installed, which was leaking. They repaired it. When I called Valvoline, and got to the manager, he first heard me out, then criticized me for taking it elsewhere. He wanted to know the phone number of the shop where the car was so he could "call and figure this out". I then found out that he basically tried to blame the problem on them. Here's what should have happened: 1. Tell me immediately that they had to put a temporary plug in, or second best, tell me on the revisit that there was a temporary plug in. 2. Then, immediately schedule a time for the car to come back for a permanent repair at their expense. (or a full service shop that would do it) 3. Not having done either of those things, ask this simple question: "What do I need to do to make this right and keep your business?" And then, when I said, "I will bring you the bill from the shop tomorrow, and pay me the amount it cost to fix it, and refund me the cost of my last oil change", say "great, I'll take care of it". Don't act like I'm at fault, don't act like I'm lying about it, don't call the guy who IS fixing it and chew him out. Bye. read more

I have taken both of my family's cars here for several years and the last couple of times the service has gotten worse He didn't check my other fluids, tire pressure or filters. An overall pleasant experience. I have come to this location a couple of times, and the service overall has been amazing. The staff has always been courteous and professional. The only draw back is that the "15 minute" oil change is more of the goal, but tends to take a little longer. I went to get my oil changed - this facility went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. After a long wait time, they allowed me to leave my car to get my oil changed while I went to the gym, in the same office complex as the fitness business. I expected to have to walk over to receive my car after I was done, but Will, the incredible manager of this location, quickly connected with me at the gym to make sure I was taken care of before I had to head home. This business provided amazing service, above average quality, and made me feel at home in a new city. I highly recommend this business!! read more

I took my car to this facility to get an oil change for the first time. The staff was beyond friendly, super professional and fast. All in all a great experience and I will be back. You sit right in your car while they do everything, I was able to get a lot of work done while I waited. They inspected everything on the car and made some recommendations. They didn't have my air filter but offered to replace them for me free of charge if I bought them at another store. They filled my tires, Windshield was her fluid, etc. Will the assistant manager took care of me and he was great. Great experience and great staff. read more

Just wasted 2 hours of my life. Wondered why it was taking so long to get in. Got in line at 11:30 with 3 cars in front of me. Finally got called into bay 2 with Rashaun at 1:15. All the three young guys did was talk and laugh and not focus on cars. All Rashaun did was text on phone, go out side to get lunch being delivered from Chic Fil A and started to eat. I finally asked the guy in next bay to help since I had been there so long and needed to go. He seemed to get Rashaun back on track. Btw they never checked my head lights, brake lights, air filters or turn signals. I was so disgusted I just wanted to get out of there. I bring all 5 of my cars there but I think it's time for a change. Worst experience ever. read more

We were in the area and an oil pressure low signal came on. This place was the closest so we went- SO happy we did! There was no wait at all, we were able to drive thru and they were so clear about what they were doing and the pricing. The guys there were also sooo nice and pleasant. They checked everything about the car and even filled our windshield wiper fluid and let us know one of our lights was on the fritz. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!!! read more

Couldn't have had a better experience. These guys are super fast and efficient. Your are able to bring your own oil filters in and they'll install them. They check everything in your car from break lights, headlights, wipers, to cabin filters. They also refill all your engine fluids (some oil change places say they do but they always forget!). All of this is done while you stay in the car or you can head to the breakroom. Overall, great experience! read more

This place is amazing! The people are so friendly and personable. Will and Spence took care of me and made me feel like I was a regular customer. I loved it because they allow you to sit in your car while they take care of your services so you're not just sitting there awkwardly while someone's working on your car. I have a high mileage vehicle-- almost 140k miles (Toyota Camry) so they gave me the best oil option which was only about $61 with the $5 coupon I found on their website. I would give this 0 stars if I could. The staff there has no idea what they are doing. I waited in line for 45 minute to get an oil change. First they broke my dip stick trying to check the oil. Then they said the drain plug was too tight so they couldn't do the oil change. I took it to Firestone close by and they said they stripped the bolt really bad. Luckily Firestone was still able to get it off despite being stripped. If you cant get the bolt off, don't strip it down to nothing and send me on my way. I waited for 45 minutes to leave with my car in worse condition. Now they are searching for my dip stick to fix that issue. The Firestone manager also said it is common for customers to come in to their shop with problems from getting work done at Valvoline. read more

As the owner of an older vehicle I always leave my oil changes feeling almost ashamed as they tell me everything is wrong with my car and I need to put hundreds into it to fix it. Well today was my first experience at valvoline! Wow! What a nice, efficient, and wonderful experience! My service tech Andrew treated my car like it was his car and made great recommendations while also complimenting certain aspects that were running well on my 2001 vehicle. He was knowledgeable and and so very kind and quick! Will definitely be coming here FOREVER since I moved to the neighborhood! Best part is you can just go in sweats and not get out of your car! These guys are great. They check everything for you and are very professional without acting fake. I don't know jack about cars and I always feel so much better after leaving here. They make me aware of what I need to keep an eye on or what things I can do to prevent problems with my car and what future services it will need. Been there 2 times the first time I waited 45 minutes, after the oil changed I asked them to reset the sensor they insisted it does it automatically I told them numerous times it doesn't but they insisted and said they don't even have anything to reset it and acted as if I didn't know my vehicle well enough my car kept telling me I needed an oil change for the next 3 days. So I called up there they said to bring it in they'll reset it! I decided to give it another try because I was in the area and needed one desperately. I sat there for 20 minutes before someone came out and said they were doing other services and didn't know how much longer I said do you think more than 30 minutes she said at least that. So they all stared at me as I sat there waiting for them to take my car and they decided to wait 20 minutes before telling they can't do my car! read more
