Fine, I had an event at 630 so they needed to be out by 6. I told them I didn't know if a deep clean would be possible. Well, they took my deep clean money ($300 with tip) and did NOT do a deep clean job. So many of the things they said they'd do, they didn't do. They were 30 min past 4 so only cleaned for 1.5 hours. So much dust left everywhere, notable dirt left in places that should have been swept, many surfaces left uncleaned, lots of implements in the bathroom not cleaned at all. Didn't wipe down the sink or its cabinets. Found stuff shoved under a rug in my living room/pushed under my sink. Just not at all "deep clean" quality. I should have refused to pay full price but I felt bad. Either way, would not recommend this group, their work is shoddy/inconsistent at best.

She agreed to reschedule me in a short notice. On the date of our appointment, they arrive early with 3 personnel and effectively finished the job in about two hours. I'm particularly impressed with the thoroughness of their cleaning in the bathrooms, oven/stove, refrigerator and stairway steps. I don't know who I was texting with in the end. They quoted me $100. The two workers arrived right on time, were very polite, and did a beautiful job! However, they spoke no English and used a phone app to communicate. (You speak into the phone, they read the Portuguese that's generated, then they speak into the phone and it spits out English. Who knows how accurate it is.) I lived in a foreign country for 6 years and while I wasn't fluent, I had basic proficiency in the language... admittedly I worked in an industry where people spoke English, but for day-to-day things I was glad I could read and handle basic conversations. (This was pre-smart phone.) I'd love to hire Rose's Cleaning for their organizing service, but can't imagine how you'd do that with someone you couldn't talk to. They get good reviews for that, so maybe I'll try it. I'm skeptical but interested. If all you need is cleaning it probably doesn't matter that you can't communicate without a phone translator. They were very through and detail oriented - asked questions about what I liked and what I need and what is important to me for cleaning and tidying. Set good expectations for deep clean and then they did such an awesome job! Got into nooks and crannies, corners, ledges, vacuumed fabric on couch and more. Deep clean was so good I signed up for a weekly cleaning and been doing that for a few weeks now. Rates are very competitive. They bring all the supplies. They are very communicative and reliable. But what really seals the deal for me is that they are so thorough and really get the grimy areas every time! I have four pets, and two humans working from home, even though we clean a bit the regular upkeep makes SUCH a difference. And I so appreciate that they are mindful of my cats and dogs who can get stressed by cleaning sounds. However, after being robbed by one of the cleaners, I needed to share this review. In the past, I've generally been happy with the cleanings, though there have been minor issues here and there. The quality of the cleaning often depends on who Eni sends, as some cleaners are better than others. On occasion, I've had to point out areas that weren't up to par. I also had one incident where one of the cleaners left my home unlocked while I was on vacation and accidentally took my keys. The keys were returned to my lockbox the next day, but my home remained unlocked until I returned. Eni apologized, and we agreed not to have that cleaner return to my home. While she was kind, I couldn't risk that happening again. What prompted me to write this review, however, was a robbery. This past weekend was my birthday, and I had several birthday cards (one still sealed in an envelope) in a pile on my dining room buffet. When I returned home, I noticed the pile was missing. Normally, if there are papers in the house, the cleaners either clean around them or neatly stack them without moving them. I asked Eni to check with the cleaners (one of whom was new and had never cleaned my home before) to see where the cards had gone. I was told they were placed in a cabinet on the shelf--something they shouldn't have done in the first place. I checked, and sure enough they were where they said they were but the sealed card had been opened, the money was gone, and a card that previously contained a gift card was missing the gift card. I called Eni immediately and expressed how upset I was. She was very apologetic, told me she had fired the cleaner who took the money, and offered to send me the amount that was stolen (which she did through Venmo). However, after this experience, I felt that I could no longer trust her service. The fact that Eni doesn't seem to properly vet the people she hires makes it impossible for me to continue using her services. I can't risk having someone like that in my home again.

The house had not been touched in a long long time. When they left it was sparkling! The carpet was cleaned but it was clear to me it needs replacing as it was cleaner but several areas could not be brought back fully. This is not on them but a case of home owner waiting too long to replace and maintain the flooring. Try this company, you won't be dissappointed!
