We took several bids and ultimately went with VA Kitchen and Bath based on a variety of factors. And glad we did. In the early phases of the project, my spouse had a serious health issue. The VA K&B team was incredibly understanding, paused the project, and went the extra mile of storing our cabinets in their store for the better part of a year. Needless to say, that flexibility was incredibly helpful. Eventually, we were able to move forward and are now enjoying a wonderful kitchen that really transformed the central space in our house. It went from ugly, sparse traffic jam to a beautiful and useful space that fits our family and needs.

I'm most impressed by the attention to detail. I was given options on even very small things and the team followed up on small cosmetic things, but which made the overall project beautiful, with the cabinet manufacturer. Cleanup was fantastic. Our new mud room and laundry room are beautiful and we look forward to using Callabrase again for all our home improvement projects.

The tub in the master was converted into a walk-in shower. New electrical and ventilation were added. The owner Justin was great to work with, communicated almost daily, and stopped by the house frequently to check on the progress of the work and answer any questions or concerns I had. Selvin the team lead is a true craftsman, knows his stuff, and clearly takes pride in the quality of his work. Others on the team worked equally hard and they have all been with Calabrese for at least 10 years. I was pleased to see the company take their time and do a quality job instead of a rushed one like you often see. They addressed each of my concerns and the results speak for themself. On Amazon, I found the stockpot plus the steamer insert for thirty dollars less than i paid at the Williams-Sonoma Outlet. I thought I would just return it but found they do not accept any returns!!! My husband and I are renovating our guest and kids' bathrooms, and Amy was truly fantastic to work with. She was patient, thoughtful, and really creative, and she quickly understood what I was going for--something elevated but still within a budget. She had seen me working with other designers in the store before and clearly picked up on my style and preferences. Amy helped me find beautiful marble along with really complementary floor and niche tiles at great prices, and she even helped make some deals work. She genuinely has a great eye and comes up with tile combinations that feel intentional and a little different. Bryce was also great. After a frustrating earlier experience where a designer didn't send me my designs and then left the job--wasting time and setting things back--Bryce went out of his way to help turn that experience around. He was kind, responsive, and very focused on making sure I walked away feeling good about the store and my experience. He also helped make pricing work on some closeout tiles, which I really appreciated. This Leesburg location is by far 100 times better in service. The displays are clean and prominent. You can get your step goals here if you are walking the aisles looking for the ideal floor, tile, vanity and backsplash. Staff is super friendly. Even in the early morning hours, a cashier is friendly and greets us. A special shout out to the designer, Amy. She has helped us twice in the past week. She has an eye for style and can help with the trends. She walked the aisles with us showing us the various tiles and decor. It's a simple process to get a quote on everything you want so you can walk away with a product quote. Highly recommend this location. Watch out HD and Lowe's.

The owner, Big John, is a straight-up guy who has several teams of workers who work quickly and at a high level of quality. For example, the county electrical inspector commented that KBB's electrician had completed "one of the best wiring jobs he had ever seen." KBB constructed for me a very large library, a large entertainment room, a bedroom, and the associated hallways and connecting rooms. The project involved all major aspects of home improvement, except plumbing (HVAC, painting, flooring, electrical, building). I am completely satisfied with all aspects of KBB's work.
